Thirteen year old Minka Jackson has wolf blood coursing through her veins. She doesn't even learn about it until she is about to go back to school when her long lost brother, Rafe, appears in the woods and warns her of the full moon. He had left her, alone in the woods, when she was five after their parents mysteriously disappeared. Rafe looks almost exactly the same as the last time Minka saw him, other than a few wolf-ish features, and he claims to have wolf blood in him, but that he was not a 'werewolf'. Minka is also a 'silver wolf' (I don't have much figured out about what that means yet, sorry). This is a really bad summary, so I'm sorry.
