In the beginning, she was so scared, but over time, she slowly opened up to Miss Himeko and Mr. Welt Yang even the train conductor Pom Pom. As she journeys through the galaxy, she met Dan Heng and March 7th, just like with Miss Himeko and Mr. Welt Yang, it took her a long while to open up to them and later on became friends What kind of adventures await for the young trailblazer including her friends? Will she find the answers about her past and why she taken away from an early age?

A metamorphic story inspired by Kafka's "Metamorphosis"

This was an essay for a World Literature class with the objective being to rewrite Kafka's Metamorphosis in a modern setting. Obviously, my writing doesn't compete with Kafka, but I did my best. I actually wrote this while looking at a bullet point list of the events from the Metamorphosis, so events and actions should follow closely but with changes I personally chose for my depiction to be distinctive. Some of my classmates wrote happier (and much shorter) endings, including Gregor flying away. I stand by my choice :D
