This is a poem discussing the issue of black lives and police brutality and sharing the burdens of the ones who died. This poem symbolizes that we are bounded by chains; if we don't solve these issues, we can never soar. This is a song is for the ones who died.

A little insight into the mind of restricted ambition...

On a whim, I've just been dying to write more poetry lately, dying to get out of this writer's block...FUNK. I hope these aren't too dreadful. The meaning of the poems might be a little fuzzy or unclear, but they're meant for you to make your own meaning out of them if you can't distinguish one of my meanings. Often, my poems have double meanings, but I'm no genius, so sometimes they're also straight to the point. Please enjoy.

Lily Gloriosa has been around poisons her whole life without knowing it. It started with herbs sewn into her baby blankets. Then into her clothes. And her food. Slowly, Lily became immune to nearly all the poisons in the world. But. She can't touch anyone. One brush from her fingertips and the rose shrivels and dies. One embrace and they are violently sick for a whole year. One kiss, certain death. Lily is a poison girl.

This is about a girl who is too afraid to come out of her shell . She has gone through something that has put her in a difficult situation . She is a soft , polite and kind girl who is too afraid to hurt even a fly . Nawal's thoughts are wild and carefree , the exact opposite of whom she is on the outside............... Some people overcome their problems and some people need someone to help them overcome their problem . That is exactly what Faridha and Nawal's other new friends help her in . Faridha helps Nawal in numerous circumstances , she and her friends make it their goal to crack Nawal's shell . And from there she has to make it out on her own . Various unexpected circumstances shape her into the confident person ,but what are those circumstances ? You'll know them soon . This is a fictitious story . Various poems on life.

This is basically my struggles with my eating disorder, and the demon I call Ana. May be triggering to those who currently have an eating disorder, those currently in recovery, or those who have had one in the past.

"Kanya Daan" or "Donating Girl" is a ritual in Indian marriage. Are we girls any commodity which is transferred or donated from one house to another??? In india, parents from birth tell their daughter "betiyan toh paraya dhan hoti hai" or "daughter belongs to her in laws and are just guest in her parent's house". And in laws say " yeh toh paraya ghar se aayi hai" or " she has come from someone else's house". Where is our "apna" or "own" house??? Shouldn't after marriage a girl have two homes, double love and double support??? If she will wear short clothes, she will get raped.. You are a girl, you have to learn to adjust.. if you say things then it will lead to a fight in house so stay quiet.. Girls should be formal, cultured and silent... he is a boy he can do anything, but you are a girl you can't And most important "log kya kehege" or "What will people say" how could I forget the key of our life. Before anyone says "these are talks of 1990's, now everything has changed". Let me burst your big bubble that you are living in..... Hello!!!!! Welcome to the world of reality. I also used to live in this bubble until 2 years ago. I have seen these thing in someone's house who is very close to me. So, please don't give your gyaan to me. (And also to some extent things have started to change but still there is a lot of work to do) In reality, we girls have to fight for every right we deserve be it respect, education, jobs,etc......and we will. So here is the story of just another girl fighting for her dreams... If you are uncomfortable with the topic, please don't continue. Also, this is my first time writing a book so please ignore mistakes.

Hi guys so this isn't a novel as much of you would expect but i tend to write about the faults in our Society and the problems most people face although my posts might be quite cliche but still do give you kind remarks and i hope they help for that's the reason why i am writing take care guys and im open to suggestions and critiques :)
