Freckles is known as the loyal dog of one Michael J. Caboose. He appears during Season 11 and terrifies both Blues and Reds. He isn't really present after the Chorus arc, and has very little Screen time. But what if he appeared earlier. What if he was present during O' Malley time in Caboose's body. And what would happen when he sees the way everyone treats Caboose. What would he do to ensure his master is protected and happy. What would he do.

After the events of the blood gulch chronicles, Morrow decided to transfer back into the field as an agent for command, working for project freelancer as part of the recovery force as "Recovery 03" however he didn't know that his past would come back to haunt him in more ways than one, not only would he come face to face with a brute killing machine called "The Meta" but somewhere in this adventure the reds and blues play into him seeking revenge for who killed the "Olympus Squad" More heart breaks are inbound, but also clarity just as much. Setting: Valhalla Base, Pre-FelixLocus, Post-Freelancer Characters Present: All team members accounted for on both sides Red and Blue, including Doc and Lopez, with Washington in replacement of Church. Ship: Grimmons with undertones of Docnut and Tuckington Triggers: NSFW, Possible Gore, more added if necessary - Project Freelancer has been destroyed. The lives of those it's corruption had graced remain forever changed. Altered. Disfigured. This story takes place in an AU where in the ship leading the teams home is never crashed by Felix and Locus onto Chorus. Instead, the soldiers are dropped off at the Valhalla bace with supplies and rations that come to the Reds and Blues on a weekly basis via air ship. This AU allows the author to write a fanfiction of Rooster Teeth owned characters in an environment were said characters are not hindered by bullets in their asses when trying to get friendly. Despite this pleasure, the effects of Project Freelancer are still reminiscent in this fanfiction. The minds and hearts of those who endured it's twisted experiments and of those who ultimately ended it, are still heavily weighted by it's taxing adventures. Even amongst this shared distress, the Reds and Blues still never loose their sense of humor and their delightful love hate relations with one another. Love, in particular, is the central theme of this literary endeavor. After all it still happens to be a fanfiction. Grif and Simmons seem the most unaffected by the trials of Project Freelancer but still have their demons with it and it's toll on their relationship. Two young men who dealt with one another in a false battle, now closer from the instances where they could have easily lost one another. Like this plot?
