The TARDIS gets sick of the Doctor hiding their feelings from their friends, so she transports their past companions into one of her rooms and makes them watch episodes from the show. I do not own Doctor Who, all parts of this story from the show belong the BBC and the writers. I am not being paid to do this, it is purely for my own amusement. ENJOY! This is from 2014. I highly suggest for you not to read it, as I was really young and had little to no experience when it came to writing. Nonetheless, I leave it up for my own remembrance or for others who are looking for cringy prompts that they can probably do better than I did. I'd rather suggest you read the other one-shot collection I have on this couple, though I won't force you. What I will say, however, is prepare for all sorts of cringe.

It is my TARDIS, and my fault that that she got caught in all this, but the story is Irene's. When I met Irene, she was sharp witted and rather broken. She cut with her jagged edges, and her mouth had few filters. She reminded me of someone who travelled with me long ago, who turned into a textbook villain. So I watched Irene grow; but instead of growing into evil, she grew into good. The problem is, tumors grow at about the same speed. Cancer wanted her as much as the rest of the world did. Still, she held nothing back. She wrapped me in kindness, and I wrapped her in a cold and endless war. But she's a warrior. So here I sit, on a hospital chair, writing a prologue for a story that has already happened because a girl from small-town Arizona asked me to. Irene is asleep.
