Opal is a 22 year old girl who lives in New York. Her mother has fallen ill and needs money for a surgery. Selling her car Opal continues to live in New York. She then revives another call saying that she must get to Texas to sign forms for her mother. But there is a catch, she only has two days or 48 hours to get there! Deciding that the only way to get there was hitch hiking she meets a guy and rides all the way to Texas with him. There Is no telling what could come from this trip. This is the sequel to my first book the lights are gloomy for a reason. If I were you I would probably check that out before reading this one, or don't and read it anyway I don't run your life do what ya want man.
