W zatłoczonej kawiarni, gdzie zapach espresso miesza się z pośpiechem miasta, pracuje Nikodem - cichy chłopak, który każdego dnia walczy z ciężarem własnych myśli. Świat rzadko go dostrzega, a on sam nauczył się znikać między kolejnymi filiżankami kawy. Do czasu. Caspian, wschodząca gwiazda modelingu, pojawia się tam przypadkiem... I wraca coraz częściej. Zafascynowany nie tylko spokojem Nikodema, ale też smutkiem, którego nie potrafi nazwać, zaczyna zwracać uwagę na szczegóły. Na drżenie rąk. Na unikanie spojrzeń. Na blizny, które nie dają mu spokoju. Im bardziej Caspian chce zbliżyć się do chłopaka z kawiarni, tym wyraźniej odkrywa, że za milczeniem Nikodema kryje się historia, która boli. A jednak Caspian nie odchodzi. Chce zostać. Pomóc. Być tym, kto w końcu zapyta: „Czy wszystko w porządku?" To opowieść o dwóch chłopakach, których życia wydają się tak różne, a jednak splatają się w najcichszych miejscach. O zauważeniu kogoś, kto dawno przestał wierzyć, że może być dla kogoś ważny. O miłości, która nie naprawia wszystkiego - ale potrafi przynieść światło tam, gdzie długo panował cień.

Il caffè, la routine, le tradizioni culturali di un popolo che sa sempre reinventarsi. Le necessità, il lavoro che non c'è, i soldi che non bastano. Siamo tutti migranti alla ricerca di un futuro migliore. O almeno di un futuro.

Il servizio civile. Si parte senza troppa convinzione , con l'unico intento del profitto. Nel tempo le persone con le quali vengo a contatto sono sempre di più , e le loro vite si intrecciano con la mia e fra di sè. Mila mi aspetta al bar per offrirmi il caffè, ogni mattina. In questo diario racconto fra il serio e il faceto le esperienze di vita, gli errori, i traguardi raggiunti e quelli mancati, scrivo le storie quotidiane che si nascondono sul fondo di una tazzina e nelle legna umide che faticano a prendere fuoco in una stufa economia. Scrivo, e in questo mi identifico.
