Edward spots the truck coming and says his goodbyes to Bella, climbing into his car and driving down the road. He only slows down as he passes the vehicle, exchanging a bitter glare with -

He expected to see Billy Black behind the wheel of his own truck, his son in the passenger seat beside him, but instead he sees a girl that steals the breath from his lungs.
Of course, he's still glaring at her for no apparent reason, and all she can do is look back at him in complete and utter confusion, probably wondering why the hell some stranger was looking at her like she burned his house down or something.
When he asks Bella about it later, he finds out that Billy had lent the truck to his friend until their own car was repaired and said friend's daughter must have borrowed it.
Needless to say, Edward was definitely going to be stopping by your bedroom window tonight 🙃
