"Get up!"- I heard Louis screaming from common room.
"Coming!"- I yelled.
I got ready and walked to common room. I saw Draco talking to Louis for five seconds and then he walked away.
"Is he okay?"- I asked.
"He told me he's fine and that we shouldn't follow him around or be worried."- Louis said.
"Of course we're gonna be worried."- I said. "He is not talking to anyone and looks sad all the time. All 6 years I have known him he was happy."
"Maybe something happened, but he don't want us to know."- Louis said.
"Let's just see if he will get better in few days."- I said.
"We have our first potion class today."- Louis said.
"Wonderful."- I said.
"At least Snape isn't there."- Louis said as we were walking towards Great Hall.
"Wait really?"- I asked.
"Should've listened to Dumbledore's speech Y'n."- He smiled.
"Sorry I was just thinking about."- I said. "What's his name? I think it starts with T."
"Enough with that."- Louis smiled. "Or should I brag about Kendall kissing me?"
"You were having asthma attack and could've died. "- I said as we entered Great Hall.
"Well Tom Riddle would probably kill you."- He said.
"Mhm."- I said as we sat down.
"Are you two talking about Tom Riddle again?"- Blaise asked.
"Maybe."- I said as I looked around. "Why is Draco not here?"
"He went somewhere I don't know where."- Blaise said.
"He will probably come to potions it's fine."- Blaise said.
"Hope so."- Louis said.
Breakfast went by fast. Me and Louis were just looking if Draco is going to come. We were worried about him. He was always happy last year.
"Any ideas what this may be?"- Professor said as me and Louis entered the potion class.
"Late on our first potion class."- I whispered to him.
"Classic."- Louis said.
"Yes Miss Granger?"- He said as Hermione raised her hand.
"That one there is a serum it's a truth telling serum. Amortentia the most powerful love potion in the world." - She said.
"Again?"- Louis said.
"It's rumored to smell differently to each person according to what attracts them."
"What does Tom smell like?"- I asked Louis.
"What does Kendall smell like?"- He asked me back.
I rolled my eyes as he laughed.
"For example I smell freshly mown grass and the parchment spearmint toothpaste."- Hermione said.
"She just described Ron."- I said.
"Now amortentia doesn't create actual love that would be impossible, but it does cause powerful infatuation or obsession and for that reason it is probably the most dangerous potion in this room."- Professor said as he closed the potion.
"Why didn't we get to smell it?"- Blaise asked.
"Because we smelled it in 4th year."- I said.
"Not all of us."- Blaise said.
"Why is Draco sitting alone?"- Louis asked.
"There is something up with him 100%."- I said.
"Called Felix Felicis."- Professor said. "Which is commonly referred to as."
"Liquid luck."- Hermione said.
"Yes Miss Granger."- He said. "Liquid luck. Desperately tricky to make."
"Then how are we supposed to make it?"- Louis asked.
"We are probably not going to make that Louis."- I said.
"I'm already bad at potions."- He said.
"Just follow the rules in the book."- I said. "Not that hard."
"We need to make living death potion."- Blaise said to us. "I know you two weren't listening so thank me later."
"Page 10."- Professor said.
We opened our books and saw the recipe. Everybody started cutting up something and I turned around and saw Louis trying to cut it.
"You with a knife."- I said. "You would just cut your fingers in half."
"Thanks for the compliment."- He said. "You do it then."
"Fine."- I said placing my hand on his and moving the knife.
"You will cut our fingers in half."- Louis said.
"There."- I said as I looked up to him while my hand were still on top of his. "Wasn't that hard."
"Didn't even give me a chance to cut it."- He said as I moved my hands.
"Continue making your potion."- I said.
Few minutes go and I look around and see weird things coming out of peoples potion and Hermione's hair being messed up.
"You know we should stop until something happens to us."- I said.
"Let me just try."- He said pouring something in his potion.
His potion exploded and his hair was now messed up in the same way Hermione's were.
"It's not funny."- He said while I was laughing.
"Told you."- I said as he started laughing too.
"Got a new hairstyle now."- He said smiling.
"Just."- I said trying to fix his smile while he was looking at my eyes. "There."
"It's still fizzy."- He said.
"At least it looks kind of better now."- I said.
We turned around and saw professor handing potion to Harry.
"Do you think we could die if we touch Harry's potion?"- Louis asked.
"Of course we would idiot."- I said.
"Then we are staying after class."
"No we're not."- I said.
"We are not going to try to kill ourselves with that."- Louis said.
"Then what?"
"Just look around."- He said.
Bell rang and everybody left the classroom. Including professor.
"Goodbye."- I said getting up and walking towards the door.
"Your staying."- Louis grabbed my hand.
"I prefer not getting detention on the first day."- I said as I turned around.
"We are not gonna do anything."- He said. "Just look around."
We heard someone opening the doors and Louis pulled me behind a table. It was Snape. He was probably going to get something.
"You idiot."- I said as Louis shushed me.
"He literally stalks us."- Louis whispered.
"We weren't supposed to stay here so it's our fault."- I said.
We waited for Snap to leave the classroom and he left about 5 minutes after.
"And what now?"- I asked.
"What is this?"- He said as he opened Amortentia.
"It's Amortentia close it."- I said.
"Why? It can't kill us."- He said.
"It's the most powerful potion in this room Louis."- I said as I closed it. "We could get in big trouble for that."
"What did you smell?"- He asked.
"I didn't even get to smell it."- I said.
"You were close to it."- He said.
"So were you."- I said.
"I asked first."- He said.
"Nothing."- I said.
"Fine then."- He opened the potion again. "Smell it again."
I came closer to the potion. Potion smelled like mint. Same mint I smelled in 4th year. Just like Louis? It's probably wrong. I'm just spending too much time with him so it probably tricked my brain into thinking it's him.
"Aaand?"- He asked.
"Still nothing."- I said. I didn't wanted to say mint because he would think it's him. "You smell it."
Louis was moving towards the potion and it spilled a little. I was in front of it and now the most powerful love potion was spilled a little on me .
"Louis I will kill you."- I said.
"Oops."- He laughed. "We can go up to someone and ask them to say what you smell like and we can find out who they like."
"That was so random."- I said.
"Still a good plan."- He said
We walked towards Great Hall and sat by Hermione and Ron.
"Ron can you tell me what Y'n smells like today."- Louis asked.
"Cinnamon."- Ron said. "Why do you smell like cinnamon?"
"That's what Hermione smells like."- I said.
"I accidentally spilled Amortentia on Y'n."- Louis said as Hermione's and Ron's eyes wide opened.
"That's rubbish."- Hermione said. "Love potion can't always be correct."
"Louis what do you smell then?"- Ron asked.
"Nothing just her usual perfume."- Louis said.
I didn't have any perfume on. One day I chose not to wear perfume. But it still doesn't need to be correct. He just spends lots of time with me. Right?
"Y'n are you wearing any perfume?"- Hermione asked.
"Mhm."- I said clearly lying.
"There is absolutely no way Louis can't smell anything."- Ron said.
"I just don't like anyone."- Louis said.
"You two should drink truth telling potion and then say that you don't like anyone."- Hermione said.
"So you two."- I said.
"We would say we don't."- Ron said.
"So would we."- Louis said.
"Rubbish."- Hermione said.
We later walked to our common room and sat on couch. Blaise and Draco were in common room too.
"Draco is everything alright?"- I asked.
"It is Y'n."- He said. "You all shouldn't worry about me I'm fine."
"If you say so."- Louis said. "You can talk to us if something happened."
"Everything is fine."- He said.
We spent rest of the day talking, but Draco would say 2 words every hour. Something was wrong, but we don't know what.
