Kayla pov
When Nicolas left to pick his call, I couldn't help but notice how charming, and handsome he looked in just normal clothes, I mean a suit is normal but this is less professional. I was still staring until Agnes sneaked up on me.
"He is worth the watch so I don't blame you darling" I jumped as she said that.
"Agnes!! You scared me" I said
"No I brought you out of your trance, girl, you were staring like his is some hot coffee and chicken nuggets," she said laughing
"Was it that bad?" I asked
"Yes but it a good thing," she said and I smiled
"Come on darling, let go make a cup of coffee before you go to bed and also go ask him if he wants some hot chocolate" Agnes said
"Hot chocolate?" I asked
"oh, he is allergic to caffeine," Agnes said
"Wow," I said surprised
"I know" Agnes laughed
I walked to Nicolas's office and I was about to knock when I heard him talking seriously on the phone so instead I decided to make the hot chocolate like that. I went back to the kitchen and told Agnes and she was alright with that. We made hot chocolate and talked for a while. I felt so happy to be here with her.
I walked over to Nicolas' office after I finished making the hot chocolate and he was done with his call but looked lost in thought, so I knocked, although he could not see me because the door was partially closed but he told me to come in and I told him I made hot chocolate for him.
"So you are allergic to caffeine," I said but it came out more like a whisper than I intended but he still heard me.
"Agnes told you," he said smiling and I nodded
" I guess she really doesn't forget easily," he said and I was confused
"Agnes used to take care of me when I was a child before you came, although she wasn't really needed, mom said just in case of emergency and she was really nice and caring, I hardly fall sick, but anytime I feel sick she was always there for me," he said as he smiled
"I am sorry. I stole your nanny" I said, and he laughed and said "I was the one who told her to go to you"
"Really," I asked
"Yeah, you were just recovering from a coma and you needed someone to take care of you, so I told her to do it," he said
"Thank you," I said gratefully
"Oh yes, we have work tomorrow, you are going to be starting as my secretary tomorrow," he said happily
"That's true, I should get to bed," I said
"Oh, and can I have anna come over this weekend," I asked
"Of course why not, this is also your house, you know that right?" he said
"Yes, right, goodnight," I told him happily
"Goodnight," he said
I walked to my room after I took my cup to the kitchen then I texted Anna that I would see her this weekend.
