Last Time on Sonic Railgun..........
One of the Egg Hydra heads stretch out to chomp Mikoto into pieces. Mikoto did a single swing with her Iron Sand Sword, and the head was cut off from the neck.
"What? Impossible!" Said Eggman.
"Heh. Shows what you know!" Said Mikoto as the sword turn into a whip form and Mikoto begin to swing her Iron Sand Whip at the two of the Egg Hydra heads and neck and slice them into tiny pieces.
"How is she doing this?" Asked Eggman. He looked at his monitor inside of his Eggmoblie. The monito then scans Mikoto to figure out how she is doing this.
"Oh.... I see. She is using her electricity to not only levitate those iron sand particles but vibrate them to cut anything it touches." Said Eggman. "Smart..... but not smart enough!"
His remaining Egg Hydra heads begin to fire their laser beams again. Mikoto quickly used the iron sand to form a barrier infront of her. When the laser beams come into contact with her Iron Sand Barrier, Mikoto could feel the force of impact when the attack connected to her defense.
"Sonic.... finish this would ya? I can't hold this any longer." Said Mikoto. She doesn't know how long she can keep up this barrier before it gives out.
"Roger that." Said Sonic. "Time to pull the plug on this machine." Sonic then curls into his ball form and charged straight at the Egg Hydra.
Before Eggman could react, Sonic crashed right into the main body of the Egg Hydra. Sonic then came out from of the Egg Hydra side. In his right hand, he was holding a yellow emerald.
With its power supply gone, all the remaining heads powered down and stop firing their beams at Mikoto. With no more laser beams firing at her, Mikoto turned off her Iron Sand Barrier.
"AHHH! Not my Chaos Emerald!" Said Eggman as he sees Sonic holding a yellow Chaos Emerald.
The yellow emerald begins to shine. Sonic then begins to strike at the Egg Hydra at blinding speeds. Sonic then strike at all the Egg Hydra heads, except the main one. Sonic continues to strike the robot until it begins to glow and exploded.
Eggman Eggmoblie was on the ground, all burn up. Eggman was covered up in explosion's dust. Sonic appeared right infront of Eggman flying pod with a smirk on his face.
"You lose." Said Sonic.
Eggman had a angry look on his face. "This isn't over, blue boy..... You have not heard the last of Dr. Eggman. You and your friends will know my wraith! And this world will know to fear my genius and my Eggman Empire will become a reality!" Said Eggman as he begins to pilot his Eggmoblie far away from Angel Island.
Sonic watches him leave until he can't see Eggman Eggmoblie anymore. Mikoto walks up to him.
"You okay Sonic?" Asked Mikoto.
"Yep. But I got to say........" Said Sonic as he looks at the emerald in his hand. "This little thing gave me quite a energy boost back there."
"I will say. When you were striking that robot, you going faster than I remember." Said Mikoto.
"Eggman and that knucklehead called this a Chaos Emerald. Huh...... Wonder what that means?" asked Sonic.
"Maybe the 'knucklehead' can explain more about this." Said Mikoto with a confident smile on her face.
"Good call there Mikoto. Lets meet back up with the others." Said Sonic before grabbing Mikoto hand and dashing back to the others.
Eggman has returned with a new kind of robot. He explained how he figured out where Sonic and his friends are. Sonic was nearly defeated when Eggman dropped him into the sea but was saved by Mikoto. Sonic was able to get the Chaos Emerald from the Egg Hydra and used it to defeat that robot. Now they head back to the others to learn the truth of these Chaos Emeralds.

"I hope Mikoto was able to save Sonic." Said Alan as he sits on the steps of the temple.
"Don't worry Alan. I am sure that Mikoto was able to save Sonic in time." Said Tails as he reassures Alan.
"Ya your right." Said Alan with a happy smile.
"I bet they are taking care of Eggman and his robot at this moment." Said Tails.
"To be honest, I am surprised that a blue hedgehog is brave enough to go against someone like Eggman." Said Knuckles.
"Well Sonic did defeat Eggman easily the first time Sonic meet him on South Island. And Sonic didn't get nervous at all during their first battle." Said Tails. That has made Knuckles starting to think that Sonic has a lot of courage to take on Eggman.
Suddenly, a blue blur ran ran around them. The blue blur comes to a stop to reveal Sonic, and was still holding on Mikoto hand. Mikoto hair at the moment was messy in all direction.
"Your back. And I guess you beat Eggman and his robot?" Asked Knuckles.
"Yep. Mikoto saved me, destroyed Eggman little robot and got a nice bonus as a result." Said Sonic as he pulled out the yellow emerald and showed it to Knuckles.
Knuckles looked at the gemstone in Sonic hand. "A Chaos Emerald." Said Knuckles.
"Now can you please explain everything here?" asked Mikoto as she begins to fix her hair.
Knuckles begins to think for a moment." Fine. For the moment, let me truly introduce myself. My names is Knuckles. Knuckles the Echidna. And you are holding a Chaos Emerald in your hand their hedgehog." Said Knuckles.
"Chaos Emerald? Is that what they are called? How many of them are there?" asked Sonic.
Knuckles hold up the blue Chaos Emerald in his hand. "Their are about seven of them in total. Each one of them has unbelieve unlimited energy." Said Knuckles.
"Did you just say......"Said Alan
"Unlimited energy?" asked Tails.
"In seven of these seven glowing gemstones?" Asked Mikoto.
"Yes. And if all seven Chaos Emeralds come together, Chaos Control will happen. A event will anyone can control and warp space and time." Said Knuckles.
"So how did Eggman learn about it?" Asked Alan.
"Lets just say that when he first got here, he tricked me into spilling the secrets of what I know about the Chaos Emeralds. After that, he tried to take the Master Emerald with him but I was able to stop that from happening." Said Knuckles.
"In other words, you let yourself get ricked easily and now Eggman is search the world for these Chaos Emeralds because you believed what Eggman said to you?" asked Mikoto.
Knuckles had a sweatdropped appearing on the back of his head. "Yeah.... that is about right." Said Knuckles as he answered nervously.
"*Sigh* How could you let yourself get trick by Eggman knucklehead?" asked Sonic.
"Sonic has a point their Knuckles. You should have seen from a mile away that Eggman was bad news." Said Mikoto.
"I know......." Said Knuckles as knows that now.
"What is this Master Emerald you mention before?" asked Alan.
"Follow me." Said Knuckles as he walks up the stairs on the Alter of the Emeralds. The others begin to follow him.
They walked up on the shrine steps to where the Master Emerald is. Knuckles stands to the side of it. "This is here is the Master Emerald." Said Knuckles.
"You mention that name before you attacked me." Said Mikoto as she crossed her arms with a angry look.
"Sorry, I just thought you were after to steal the Master Emerald." Said Knuckles.
"So what is so important about this Master Emerald that you have to guard it all the time?" asked Sonic.
"This is the main reason of how Angel Island is flying in the sky." Said Knuckles.
"THIS!? This big gem is the reason for that mysterious question of how the island is floating in the sky? Well that will explain a lot." Said Alan.
"I will say. This gem has enough power to maintain an entire island, it must have the same kind of energy as these Chaos Emeralds." Said Tails.
"Indeed. I know only so much of the Master Emerald. I only know it was gift from the gods and was placed here on Angel Island. I only know from what I remember is that the Master Emerald not only keeps the Angel Island in the air, but it has a connection the Chaos Emeralds as well." Said Knuckles.
"Explain Knuckles." Said Mikoto.
"It is like what you humans call a 'controller'. It can either nullify the Chaos Emeralds or power up a Chaos Emerald." Said Knuckles.
"Huh....... it would make a little bit of sense." Said Alan as he believes he understands it a little.
"It is hard to believe that this Master Emerald is like the control device to nullify or powerup the Chaos Emeralds." Said Mikoto as she slightly placed her hand on top of the Master Emerald.
The moment Mikoto placed her hand on the Master Emerald, it begins to shine brightly. Mikoto eyes begin to widen from the suddenly bright.
It was then something begin to happen from her point of view. She begins to see some kind of vision. She sees seven glowing gemstone that are of a different color. Two colors she knows, the others must be the remaining Chaos Emeralds.
Then she saw Eggman holding all the Chaos Emeralds with a evil smile on his face and laughing at the same time. Then she saw tons of city burned to the ground and destroyed.
Then she had another vision. This time the Chaos Emeralds were floating two shadowy figures. One short, one teenager size.
The Chaos emeralds then spin around them faster until a white flashed happened. When the white flashed died down, the two figures where surrounded by a golden aura and their eyes were now visible and were now glowing red.
The visions ended and the Master Emerald stop shining. Mikoto begins to breath hard at the moment.
"Hey are you okay?" Asked Knuckles.
"I am fine.... but I just saw something when I touched the Master Emerald." Said Mikoto.
"What did you see?" Asked Sonic.
"It has hard to see but I will try to recall what I saw. The first thing I saw seven emeralds that were a different color." Said Mikoto.
"That has gotta be the Chaos Emeralds." Said Knuckles.
"But we only have two of them. If Mikoto saw seven then we need find the other five." Said Sonic.
"The next thing I saw was Eggman having all Chaos Emeralds. And then I saw cities destroyed or burn to ashes." Said Mikoto with a worried look on her face. "I can't think of what that means."
"I think I have on possibility." Said Alan.
"What would that be?" asked Knuckles and Mikoto.
"If Eggman is trying to find all Chaos Emeralds, he will use them to possibly wipe out anyone who stands in his way and possibly rule Mobius." Said Alan.
"The Master Emerald must have been showing a warning of what will happen if Eggman gets his hands on all the Chaos Emeralds." Said Knuckles.
"And.... there was one last vision. It was hard to see but I saw two figures begin surrounded by the Chaos Emeralds and then they were surrounded by a golden aura and I saw that their eyes have become red colored." Said Mikoto.
"Then we need to go find them before Egghead finds them." Said Sonic.
"Whoa whoa... what's this we business?" asked Knuckles.
"UM.... I mean everyone in this group." Said Sonic.
"Sorry but I can't go. "Said Knuckles.
"Why not?" Asked Sonic.
"I have to stay here and guard the Master Emerald." Said Knuckles as he pointe dour his mission.
Mikoto grabbed him by his back and lifted him up in the air. "Didn't you say that Eggman tricked you to learn about the Chaos Emeralds?" Asked Mikoto.
"Yeah but...." Said Knuckles.
"And isn't this technically your fault that Eggman is going out of his way to find those Chaos Emeralds no matter what it takes?" asked Mikoto.
"Um... Well.... I... I mean.... I guess...." Said Knuckles as he begins to sweat nervously.
"Then you are coming with us Knuckles. Back to the Tornado guys." Said Mikoto as she begins to walk back to the Tornado with carrying Knuckles in her hand.
"No wait! Stop! I have to guard the Master Emerald! Stop! Let me go!" Said Knuckles as he tries to wiggle out of Mikoto grasp but no luck.
"Not gonna happen Knuckles. This is technically your mess and you are going to help us clean up your mess." Said Mikoto.
The others watched Mikoto carrying Knuckles back to the Tornado without any trouble. They can't help but feel a little bit nervous.
"Alan, your sister can be scary sometimes." Said a nervous Tails.
"Trust me Tails..... Sis can get scary if only someone gets on her bad side." Said Alan before they begin to catch up with Mikoto on the way back to the Tornado.
The secret of the Chaos Emeralds was announced to the group. Knuckles also explained of how Eggman knows so much of the Chaos Emeralds. The Master Emerald showed Mikoto a possible outcome of what would happen if Eggman gets his hands on all of the Chaos Emeralds. Mikoto is now dragging Knuckles back to the Tornado to go find the other Chaos Emeralds. Can they find them all and stop Eggman and who were those two shadowy figures in that other vision that Mikoto had?
