Nah'Lonnie P.O.V
I sat up in my bed after a couple minutes of crying and started to wipe my face dry. I took up my phone from my nightstand and started going through it. Nothing but text messages from different people and notifications from my twitter and Instagram. It was either people defending me or people bashing me. At this point I turned my phone off and put it back on the night stand. I was starting to lay back down when I herd my Mac ringing. I looked over at my desk and It was a FaceTime call from Ronnie. I love him and all but I know him and I know that no matter what, he will give me the truth and his truth is always harsh. I answered the phone call anyway.
" Hello " I said looking down.
" Nah'Lonnie we've been trying to reach you all day " I looked up and realized that it was him and Asia. Great 2x the harshness.
" I'm sorry I've been dealing with a couple of things " I replied.
" Yeah I think we can see that. Are you okay? " Asia asked.
" No! My dad just beat the living shit out if me and my mom just cursed me out and who knows what the rest of the world has to say about me or my mom and dad " I started to cry again. Ronnie sighed.
" Look boo you know I give you nothing but the truth right? " I shook my head yes and braced my self. " Best friend, you were wrong but I know you need us right now. More than us putting you down and saying how wrong you are cause obviously we know that " He giggled which made Asia and me giggle.
" So what are the plans for now? "
" I don't know, I really don't know. My dad left and my mom-"
" And your mom what? " Mommy said cutting me off and coming fully inside my room and stood there with her hand on her hip.
" I was talking to- "
" I really don't want to hear nothing from you right now, cause the way I'm feeling, I could just really hurt you right now but your very lucky that god and his disciples are holding me back from whopping ya ass "
" Okay " I said in a low tone.
" Now what I need you to do is pack your bags, three suit cases- "
" Why? " I cut mommy off she looked up towards the ceiling and started to walk around.
" Lord please tell me that this little girl did not just cut me off " she then took a deep breath " like I was saying we're going to New York. I want ya phone, laptop, iPad, iPod, headphones. Any electronics you got, I want. No ifs and buts about it "
" Yes ma'am " she walked out my room and I looked to my computer screen.
" Yup she's pissed. I like it when she's mad. I don't know she looks sexy! " Ronnie said making us laugh.
" Yeah well guys I think I should go and pack and I guess I'll see you guys in New York. "
" That's if ya dad let's you out the house " I nodded my head in agreement.
" Yeah that's if "
" Alright bye boo, good luck "
" Thanks bye love you guys "
" We love you too " they said in unison. I hung up and gathered my electronics and walked across to my parents room. The door was opened and I walked in. Sharika, My mom, and dad were in there. My dad was sitting at the edge of the bed with his head inside his hands. I can tell that's he was crying because I herd sniffles and mommy was holding him. In a way this looked really cute but I knew this wasn't a smiling matter
" Where do I put these? "
" Right there " My mom pointed to the middle of her bed. I put the things down and was about to leave when my mom stopped me. " Your dad and I think it's a good idea if we leave you in New York with my mom while we work on things over here. "
" WHAT! I DONT KNOW ANY OF YOUR FAMILY OVER THERE AND YOUR JUST GONNA LEAVE ME? " Dad looked up and stood up taking off his belt.
" Watch ya tone. Your going to meet them and your going to be staying with ya grandma for a while and that's final "
" BUT THATS UNFAIR " I yelled again.
Next thing I know I felt a stinging sensation on the side of my left thigh. I backed up realizing that he hit me
" Last time watch ya tone " he then walked to the bathroom slamming the door shut. " I walked out their bedroom and slammed my room door. Next thing I know it's round two.
