Third Person POV
It was quite a peaceful morning. Put aside the muffled screaming, and it could even be a perfectly silent one.
Garmadon sat in an armchair in the living room, casually sipping tea as the storm raged on. It ended with the abrupt slamming of a door, which made Lloyd quietly walk into the same room as his father.
All was silent until Lloyd whispered under his breath, "I think Y/N is having another..... uhh, adolescence thing."
"No," Garmadon put his cup down onto the side table with a raised brow. "You think?"
"Okay, so she is," Lloyd stuffed his hands into his pockets with a huff.
What had been building up for a few days finally came: it was that time of the month for Y/N. The random outbursts, the fragile emotions, the constant complaint of pain; each time it came, it progressed to be worse than the last. They both knew exactly what this meant.
Lloyd leaned against the wall, musing, "When did Mom say she was coming back?"
"She didn't; she just said that she'd be back."
Lloyd grunted in frustration. He had to put up with this all day?!
"Well, what if you talk to her? You're an adult; she might actually calm down a bit for you!"
"I'm an adult, yes, but I'm not a woman!" Garmadon exclaimed. "I wouldn't be much of any help to this situation. We should just wait until Misako comes back."
"Fine," Lloyd mumbled. "I'm gonna go see if any of my friends want to hang out or something. I'd rather not have to fight Y/N."
"How come? You're scared of losing again?" Garmadon smirked behind his cup.
Lloyd scoffed and stormed out of the house. Garmadon chuckled, putting his cup down on the table beside him. He decided to meditate a bit before offering his attention to Y/N.
Sitting alone in the tranquility of the living room, he tried to think of a way to try to make Y/N comfortable. He had no idea about her problem, or how to help her, but he would try his best.
Suddenly, the clock chimed, signifying that it was time for lunch. After a brief bit of imagining different scenarios, he came up with an idea.

As for Y/N, she couldn't possibly be any more uncomfortable than she already was.
Lying in a fetal position on the bed, the churning pains in her stomach were relentless against her puny pain tolerance.
I hate this. She fumed as she clung to a pillow. My body hates me. I haven't eaten anything all day. I can't move without hurting. I want this to end, I want this to end, why won't it end? I want this to end, I want this to-.
As she was deep in her hate-fueled thoughts, the room's quiet atmosphere was intruded upon by three knocks on the door.
"May I come in, Y/N?" A sing-songy voice followed the raps.
Y/N sighed, replying with a very weak, "Come in."
Garmadon opened the door to her room slowly, holding a plate with a sandwich on it. His face was adorned with a soft smile as he looked down at Y/N's blank expression.
"I thought you might need some lunch," He whispered, holding out the plate. "I believe I remembered correctly that you liked grilled cheese."
Y/N looked at it, then snarked, "I believe I remember that that was when I was five years old. I'm not hungry."
Garmadon kept smiling as he set the plate down on the bed before sitting down beside it. "I just thought I might offer some food for you. I don't think you've come out of your room all day, have you?" He hummed, carefully gracing a hand atop her shoulder. Once she shook her head, he asked, "Would you like me to bring you to the living room?"
Y/N remained quiet. She didn't know what she wanted, other than for the pain to stop. She knew if she moved, she would hurt even more, so that was out of the question. She coldly mumbled, "No. I don't."
Garmadon sighed, carefully choosing what words to say next. "Y/N, I know you're in pain. I know you tend to....overreact to things. I just want to help you. Tell me what I can do, please."
Sadly, those were the wrong words entirely.
Y/N snapped, "Well, maybe I don't want your help right now! I don't want anyone's help! You're just like Lloyd; you clearly don't know anything about what I'm going through and you definitely won't help, so...so just leave!!!"
Both of them were taken aback by the outburst. Garmadon nodded, silently getting up to leave the room. Before he left, he muttered under his breath, "You know, sometimes I think that if you ran like your mouth, you'd be in great shape."
As the door was shut behind him, Y/N instantly felt guilt taking over her body. It wasn't like her to just lash out like that.
She shifted on the bed, trying to pull herself upright. Hot tears began dripping down her cheeks as she stood up, ignoring the constant twisting pain in the pit of her stomach. She made her way to the door, standing before it, holding the knob in her hand.
Wait, A voice in her head began to ring out in the silence. What are you going to say to make this better? What's your plan? How are you going to try to redeem your actions? Will he even care? Why should he care; after what you did, what you said.
Finally, Y/N opened the door, cringing at each creak that emitted from its rusty hinges. Feet shuffling along the wooden floor, she carried herself to the living room where Garmadon sat with his back turned to her.
Wiping her tear-stained cheeks with her sleeve, she sat down on the small love seat beside the chair he was resting in. His head raised to see her, in all of her emotional glory. Halfway rising from his chair, he asked, "Y/N, are you crying?"
The words, the tone; both elements made it hard to keep it together. She could already barely bring herself to meet his concerned eyes. She couldn't keep a few stray tears from falling as she shrugged, turning her head.
It was only a few seconds later that the rest of the space on the couch was taken up by Garmadon, the change in weight pulling Y/N close to his body. The two were completely silent, almost trying to avoid being the one to bring up the incident. Finally, Y/N quietly cleared her throat.
"Uh. I...I didn't mean to say....those things I said," She said as her voice wavered from choking back a sob. "I didn't mean to..."
Before she could get anything else out, Garmadon wrapped his arms around her, tucking her face into his shoulder. Y/N gladly accepted the hug, sniffling and crying while snuggling up closer into the warm embrace.
"Shhh," Garmadon whispered, stroking her hair. "It's okay, I know you didn't mean to."
When the sobs suddenly grew silent, Garmadon became slightly unnerved and carefully pulled her away from his chest. Her eyes were closed, her mouth had a small string of drool dripping out of the corner of her mouth as quiet snores escaped from the rest of it.
He smiled, pulling her closer as he joined her in a quick nap.

A soft knock on the door, followed by the jingling of keys and the door swinging open, ruptured the stillness of the house.
"I'm back," Misako called out, taking her shoes off at the door.
She turned the corner into the living room, where she stopped abruptly at the sight.
"Aw!" Misako gasped as she stared at Garmadon and Y/N curled up together on the couch. She took out her phone and took a picture of them before they could wake up.
Unfortunately, she didn't realize that the flash on her camera was still on, sending out several bright beams of light onto their bodies.
Garmadon halfway opened his eyes, seeing the shocked woman standing with the device in her hands. After a few seconds of putting two and two together, he muttered, "You better not post that anywhere."
