i walk inside mommy and i's home.
"apple! oh my god!"
she rushes over to me, scooping me up and hugging me tightly.
"mama?" i question, confused.
"where have you been?! you know you're not allowed to walk out of this house without me!"
"mama i-"
"you scared me half to death!"
i forget why i'm confused and just hug her. she feels so real.
"i missed you!" i say to her as i smell her hair. it's fruity.
"i missed you baby! are you okay?" she asks setting me down and looking me over.
"yes, dommy took care of me!"
"dom's outside?" she asks.
"mama! i have so much to tell you!"
"what baby?"
"i have powers!"
"you do?!" she smiles.
"but... dommy and soraya had to do bad things..."
"bad things?" she asks and goes behind her back, pulling out a gun.
i step back.
"wha-why do you have that?" i ask.
"have what?" she smiles but she doesn't look like my mommy anymore.
this person looks evil... feels evil.
i take another step back.
"who are you?!" i yell.
"apollonia, come here darling," the faker speaks, voice growing deep and high pitch at the same time. they turning into something that's not a human being.
"NO!"
"apple, you don't want me to get angry."
"go away!"
i turn to run, heading for the front door.
the last thing i hear is a 'pop!'.
i open my eyes and look around the empty room.
"dommy!" i yell out, breathing hard.
my body is sweating. i push my wet hair out of my face. i get out of bed and go to open the door, tears falling down my face.
i take the stairs, two by two.
"dommy!" i call out again, almost falling down a step but catching myself on the hand rail.
"apple?" i hear dom.
i finally get off the stairs and follow his voice.
"dommy!" i cry and find him in the kitchen with raya.
"apple what's wrong?" he asks walking up and crouching down in front of me.
"i-i had a b-bad d-dream!" i cry, throwing myself into him. he wraps his arms around me and squeezes tight.
"i'm right here," he whispers to me. "you're okay."
i hug him back, trying to calm myself down.
it seemed so real.
"we can talk about it later," dominic says.
"what's going on?" i ask, pulling away from him and wiping my eyes.
"your brother wants to be an idiot!"
"apple, i have a plan to get alex."
