Third Person POV
"Look, Garma-...uhh, Lord, sir....?"
"Just Garmadon is fine."
"Okay. Garmadon, if you don't wanna do this, I-I understand, we could just-..."
"No, I need to get used to it. Walk me through it again."
Vinny nervously nodded his head with a quiet sigh.
Vinny was attempting to slowly introduce displaying affection to Garmadon. He started out slow; holding hands.

Holding hands shouldn't be this intimidating... Vinny thought anxiously as he looked down at his hand.
"Are you okay, Vinny of NGTV News?" Garmadon's voice rumbled in his chest, making Vinny jump, snatching his hand away.
"Y-yeah! I'm great. You know, you can just call me Vinny, right?" Vinny squeaked, trying to look him in the eyes.
Completely ignoring his last comment, Garmadon bent down to his level, noticing his feigned calmness. "Are you sure? You seem to be sweating and shaking. And.....your face is turning red."
Vinny felt himself shrink at least five times with each word. He turned his head, trying to speak through voice cracks. "Yeah..! Yeah, I'm....fine. I..." Suddenly, a large hand gently gripped his chin, pulling his head to meet his eye contact.
"I know when I'm being lied to, Vinny of NGTV News," Garmadon whispered, stroking his thumb across Vinny's spasming chin. "You can tell me if something's wrong."
Vinny shut his eyes and blurted out, "I wanna hold your hand."
He kept his eyes shut tightly, hearing Garmadon quietly say, "That's it?" Within seconds, Garmadon firmly gripped Vinny's smaller hand, making Vinny open his eyes in surprise.
"Is there anything else that you'd like me to do?" Garmadon asked, perplexed at Vinny's now pained expression.
"You can stop squeezing my hand so tight, please?" Vinny grunted out, feeling his fingers go numb.
"......you're full of demands, aren't you, Vinny of NGTV News?

That was when Vinny was taking baby steps to make a connection with the four-armed man. He also tried hugging, once. It didn't end that well; it didn't start too well, either.

Vinny had no idea how to initiate a hug with Garmadon. All he knew for certain was that he would never ask for it like with the hand holding. That was embarrassing enough. So, he planned a way to hug him without it being awkward.
He wandered the entire Destiny's Bounty looking for Garmadon, and ended up finding him on the deck with Lloyd and Cole. Though he would've preferred to not have an audience, he didn't want to wait to do it.
He took off with a running start until he reached Garmadon, opening his arms to bump into him and successfully hug him from behind.
The hug itself lasted for a good two seconds before Garmadon reacted. He grabbed Vinny with two of his arms, and swung him up in the air, landing him flat on his back in the middle of the three. Garmadon caught a glimpse of the familiar face and said, "Oh, it's you. Sorry about that."
Vinny cracked a pained smile, holding his hand up into a thumbs-up.
That could've gone better.

And now, here he was; trying to show him what cuddling was. How would he get hurt this time, he couldn't help but wonder. Would he get his spine crushed? Would he get thrown off the couch and smack his head on the wall?
Fiddling with the tips of his fingers, he watched as Garmadon took a seat on the couch, trying to get into a comfortable lounge position. The two were completely still, waiting for each other to make a move.
"Well, am I going to have to drag you or what?" Garmadon asked, reaching an arm out to him.
Vinny took a deep breath and sat down beside him. He looked at Garmadon, who was wearing a bit of a smirk, then turned away, blushing furiously. "Are you sure...? I don't know if I can do this."
"Go ahead. Teach me," Garmadon chuckled.
Vinny let out a giggle, trying to build himself up to actually face him again. "Well, first...um, we are supposed to kind of hug each other...?" Instantly, Garmadon sat upright, pulling Vinny into his lap, enveloping him in all four of his arms.
Vinny felt like he could faint. He could feel his heart drumming as if it were in the middle of an intense metal song. It didn't help when Garmadon rested his chin on his shoulder. He thought his heart was going to explode.
"You know," Garmadon mumbled into Vinny's shirt. "It's not really considered a hug if the victim doesn't hug back."
Hesitantly, Vinny leaned into the hug, trying to reach his arms all the way around Garmadon's broad chest. One of Garmadon's hands reached up to cradle Vinny's head, almost knocking his cap off in the process.
"So, what's the next step to this skill?" Garmadon whispered.
"Uh,....I think this is fine. I think we did it."
"Why did you say this was the first step if there's only one step?"
Vinny laughed, "I don't know! I was nervous, I guess? I mean, I don't know if there are any other steps involved."
Garmadon tilted his head in thought, to which Vinny raised his head to see what was wrong. Suddenly, Garmadon's face lit up as an idea evolved in his brain. "I think I know a few more steps," He smiled from ear to ear.
Vinny didn't really know how to feel about it; first of all, it was the first time he had ever seen Garmadon genuinely smile, and lastly, what was he about to do to him?
Garmadon continued tightly embracing him, only he stood up, still carrying Vinny like a bag of potatoes. He took some of the pillows and blankets off the couch and spread them out on the floor. Finally, he carefully began to get down on the ground, holding Vinny close to his chest. As soon as they got adjusted to the hard floor, Garmadon leaned closer to Vinny's ear and said, "Step two."
Vinny felt his stomach doing flips as he brought his hands up to his burning cheeks. He was then pulled to face Garmadon, still wearing his Cheshire cat smile. "Step three," He breathed as he brought one of his hands up to Vinny's chin.
Vinny was practically vibrating in anticipation as Garmadon inched his face closer and closer to his, letting out a quiet gasp when Garmadon's thumb brushed his bottom lip.
"Step four." Garmadon then crashed his lips onto Vinny's.
To say that Vinny freaked out was an understatement, his eyes nearly popping out of his skull in surprise. He never expected it to go this far! He just wanted to introduce cuddling, and Garmadon jumped three steps ahead!
Soon enough, he went with it, grasping Garmadon's arms to pull him closer. Garmadon returned the gesture by digging his fingers into Vinny's back, gently tugging him closer until they were chest to chest.
They pulled away, quietly gasping for breath. Vinny breathlessly chuckled, "I...I didn't know that...was a step in it."
Garmadon tapped his chin with one of his fingers, putting on a face that looked as if it were deep in thought. "Hmm..." He mused. "Perhaps I went too fast for you. Would you like for me to teach you again?"
Flustered yet again, Vinny covered his face and bashfully nodded his head. Garmadon pulled his hands away from his flushed cheeks and hummed, "Then stop hiding and let me teach you."
