I know I said Jiro was next and that I was gonna do Nemuri too, but this shit just came in my head, and I gotta write it down first lol. Things will change a bit though so please just enjoy the story, first off, Momo won't have that crush on Delsin, in fact, Delsin kinda has a thing for her, unlike in canon so Everything will be reverse. The second is..... Well I'll let you read to find out.
It was the third and last event of Sports Festivals, the the one on one battles between the class students and things were looking pretty tragic. They had just got done with Ashido and Aoyama's match, the former taking the win rather easily. The people who were fighting were waiting in the contestants booth, hoping to see some awesome fights. Delsin, though, was the MVP of the Sports festival currently he wasn't too scared. He had just tied for first place with Midoriya on the Obstacle course race while also placing first for the Cavalry battle.
Though, everyone should be kissing his ass right about now. The reason why is because he had basically robbed everyone, other than Midoriya's team, outta their points. He basically would've just had to fight everyone on Midoriya's team and win but he wanted a challenge plus, he wanted to fight him. Delsin turned his head from where he was sitting to look behind him, seeing the red and white haired boy. That Todoroki kid really just pissed him off. Where did he get the right to say that he could beat him with only his ice quirk?
'The boy's a dumb ass, Rowe, seriously. He's just upset kid with daddy issues! Nothing out of the ordinary. Fuck him up goooooood!' John encouraged, which got Rowe to smile a bit. The Training he put in and his kick ass powers were enough to win him the top spot, he was sure. He had 20% of Bestial Mode while also having his Conduit quirk. Todoroki didn't know what he was messing with. He just laughed at himself. Why the hell was he so annoyed with him again if he had the better quirk? "Let the sixth match take place! May I have my two contestants step up to the platform?".
Soon, a teen with a bird face along with a gorgeous girl walked into the stands. She had long flowing black hair that she usually kept into a spikey ponytail that had a long strand on the right side of her face. That same girl looked up into the stands and blushed and smile as she saw his face. Delsin smiled as he though she was looking at him but he then had a bad feeling and turned around to see her line of sight was directed to Todoroki. Said boy just stared blankly at her as she went to engage her opponent. Delsin frowned. 'Right......I'm pissed because he has HER'.
That was what irritated Delsin the most about Todoroki. He had this attitude with everyone, even with the girl that likes him. Ever since he got here and his eyes landed on her, he's always had a thing for Momo Yaoyorozu. She was just everything he was looking for: intelligent, beautiful, drive to be something great, hardworking, and great personality. He talked to her a few times since he came here but she only ever noticed him as a friend, nothing more. Even after he saved her from those villains that tried to rape her, she never knew though because she was already knocked out. However, Todoroki, he didn't even do anything to even acknowledge her and she's all over him sometimes.
All because Todoroki had it all: The looks, the wealth, the dark boy attitude with a mysterious past and an awesome quirk. Delsin sighed. He didn't consider himself ugly, that his aunt made sure of by telling him every day that he was her 'handsome little man', but he wasn't on Todoroki's level of hotness, that, he was aware of. He wasn't rich by any means. Both Todoroki and Yaoyorozu slap him in terms of wealth. They could own him financially. He did have his days where he was silent unspoken but Todoroki always had that cool quiet vibe that made the girls, Momo included, swoon over him. And Delsin had a dark past, he lost damn near everything, but never in his life where he witnessed and received abuse from his own father and mother. All to the point of his mother even hurt him.
But the only thing Delsin has over Todoroki, is his quirks. Todoroki can't win the battles against him but he already won the war in what made Delsin fight in the first place. It was so annoying. John sighed. 'Please, That Shoto boy comes a dime a dozen. There's nothing special about him. Sure he puts on an act to make himself interesting but really, he's boring and simple, unlike you. You have a personality. His whole arc is to just mommy and daddy issues. You kid, have depth, besides your shortcomings. If she was smart lkke everyone says she is, she'd see that'.
Delsin smiled. Really, it pays sometimes to have a entity in your head. 'Thanks John....'. 'Just calling it like I see it, besides, when she sees us beat his ass, she'll be on our tail real quick'. Delsin smiled before he watched th fight start. What ended up happening was Momo was getting pushed around by Tokoyami's Dark Shadow, resulting in him pushing her outside the ring line, taking the match from her. As the proctor announced the winner, Yaoyorozu looked utterly defeated as she quickly walked out of the arena. No one else saw but Rowe but she began to form tears in her eyes.
Delsin frowned. "Poor Momo, this must be beating her up hard". The class, besides Todoroki and Bakugo, muttered in agreement but Todoroki just scoffed. "Please. She should've seen that coming. She stood no chance. Maybe if she thought her next move instead of trying to over power him, which she knew she couldn't, she might've done at least something, before she would've lost anyway". "Exactly, Icyhot bastard" Bakugo agreed, which made Delsin's blood boil.
"That's not the point! Out matched or not, she's just lost, she's our friend and she's sad. You should go comfort her. She'd probably want to hear it from you anyway". "Why would I do that? I don't have time to be focusing it on some random. I have to focus on my fights, you should do the same. We'll be fighting each other where I will crush you. Yaoyorozu is out of the competition so she's just an extra now". The class was shocked to hear that while Delsin moved to go punch the fucker but Kirishima and Sato caught him.
"Rowe-san, relax, don't fight him, you'll get disqualified!" Kirishima said, finding it hard to hold Delsin in place because the Conduit quirk a user was strong, very strong. "Y-Yeah, show some restraint!". Delsin stopped, realizing their right while he just glared at Todoroki, who just glared right back but he had a small cocky smirk in his lips, which irritated him to no end. He hated this guy. "Fucking prick...." Delsin said before he left the stand in search of his friend/crush. Everything had calmed down a bit after the boy left, everyone resumed to the next fight.
Jiro sighed to herself while Hagakure groaned. "When will she get it through her smart thick skull that Todoroki is a jerk despite his sexy looks?". Jiro sighed. "I don't know, Hagakure-san. Yaomomo believes there's a better side to him, that he's just being a dick because that's all he knows how to be but really, he's just a asshole. She doesn't even see that Rowe-san likes her. That's how absorbed she is with Todoroki". Asui joined in. "Well, for her sake, I hope she figured it out, ribbit. Rowe-san, although not Todoroki's level of looks, is really attractive and after this festival, he'll have a swarm of girls, ribbit, let alone agencies".
Though what the girls didn't know, was that Todoroki was listening to the whole conversation and smirked to himself. He knew of Yaoyorozu's crush on him. It was obvious to him, she was just like every other girl he's met, they all like him for his looks, money, quirk or all the above. But he never knew that Rowe liked her. This made him smile. 'Well, this'll be interesting....'. Todoroki simply stood up from his seat and headed to the halls.
Meanwhile, Delsin walked along the long halls of the underground stadium, looking for the girl. It wasn't long till he found her on a bench near the change rooms. Her hands were over her face, crying. Delsin frowned. "Momo?". The girl shot up to see Delsin standing there, water running down her eyes. "Oh! Rowe-san, h-hi. Sorry you had to see me like this" she chuckled as she sniffled. Delsin sat beside her with kind eyes.
"No, I came here to see you like this. I saw you crying, Momo, don't try and fill me with a bullshi-". "Hey! No swearing" Momo interrupted while Delsin blushed a bit. "S-Sorry, but you know what I mean! Momo, it's okay to feel this way. You lost. It's okay to feel bad. It would be kinda weird if you're happy that you lost". Yaoyorozu chuckled a bit at that. "Yeah..... Yeah it would, wouldn't it?". Delsin just stared at her for a bit to see the look of sadness wash over her face again. "Momo....". She put her hands in her face again, sobbing. "I lost......I lost. Ten million things were rushing through my head and none of them were ways to defeat Tokoyami-san. It was pathetic!".
Delsin grabbed her hands, pulling them away from her crying face. "No, Momo, it wasn't pathetic. Everyone loses sometimes! It's perfectly normal. But its what we take from our losses that define us from the winners of the fight to the winners of life". Yaoyorozu stopped crying for a bit but her eyes were still watering a bit. "B-B-But you and T-Todoroki-san....". "We will face lose sometime, Momo, that may even be today too if you think about it. If the other contestants that we fight don't manage to take us down, then we will have to fight one another and either one of us will lose that fight".
"And I face loses all the time, I was the loser back home, if you didn't know. I face losses all the time, Momo. Trust me. It's only now that I'm being seen as a winner because I didn't stop trying...... Well that, and I got a cool quirk but mostly the first one!". Momo laughed at him while Delsin totally tried to fix his image and not make him seem like lucky brat, though he failed horribly.
Momo was laughing even harder as Delsin just kept mumbling his words like an idiot but it all just made her feel better. "Thank you, Rowe-san.... I needed that". She gave him a hug, one that which meant a lot to him. Once she let go, she moved to leave but Delsin grabbed her hand. "Hey...um.....". She looked into his eyes to see that his eyes were glancing between her and the floor that they were on. "Yes, Rowe-san?". The words were fighting in his throat to get out but the nerves was what got in the way. He just held on to his words just like he was doing with Yaoyorozu's arm. "Um.....I-I was wondering..... Maybe we can hang out..... You know, outside of school? YOU KNOW, JUST LIKE AS FRIENDS, HAHAHAHA!". Delsin's awkward laugh was something to behold as he was just eyeing Yaoyorozu as he laughed.
Said rich girl just brushed it off. "Well of course, Rowe-san, we are friends, yet we barely know each other. We should get to know one another. Just hit me up at any time". After saying that, the girl wrote her number down and handed it to him. "Call me whenever you wish to meet up?". "S-S-Sure.... Okay!" he responded. Momo smiled as she left, feeling better that she had a friend like Delsin who was able to help her out with her problems. Delsin was just so proud of himself while John just sighed. 'You poor, poor fool.....you just get excited over anything, don't you? Just because she gave you her number, doesn't mean anything special. Sure you're closer to her but not in the direction you wanna take'.
'Yeah John, but not everyone works like that. I can't just talk to her once and automatically expect her to be my girlfriend. I need to get to know her, like she said. What's on the surface of Momo Yaoyorozu, that's what I like and I like her enough to know more about her and if my plan works, she'll want to do the same with me too' Delsin thought as he sat there in happiness. He finally got the chance to make this work and he was gonna take it. Momo is practically his for the taking.
Meanwhile, Yaoyorozu was walking the hall with a smile on her face. Just now, she was feeling like utter shit because of her failure but once Delsin spoke to her, she felt a lot better now. Not everyone will always win in life and he, himself, was a prime example of that apparently, though she would've never guessed. 'I really hope he calls me soon. I'd really like to talk with him more.....' she thought. Delsin was a very interesting person and she wanted to know him better.
She was, as everyone would say, a very smart girl. Which means, she can easily predict situations, solve crazy problems or in this case, read a person quite easily. Delsin was the only person she ever read wrong, seeing as she thought he was the superstar jock of the class and nothing else but apparently, there was more to him. He had a good head on his shoulders, he was wise. And he was funny too, the way he folded his own speech was hilarious, not like the one he made on the stage at the beginning of the Sports Festival.
Learning all this was a great experience from their first ever conversation. Sure, they spoke before but they were never alone and spoke, usually it was in a group setting at school but today, today was something else. She would make sure to speak to him again, he's seemed like a good person. "Yaoyorozu-san?". That was where Momo stopped in her tracks to the stands. She knew that voice. That was the voice that was in her dreams at night. The voice that set her body on fire every time she heard it, yet send chills up her spine. It's fitting when she thought about it, since the person the voice came from happened to have those very same abilities.
Yaoyorozu turned her eyes to be facing Shoto Todoroki, his black and blue eyes piercing her very soul with that small charming smile that would ignite the flames of her heart. He was just so goddamn gorgeous. "T-T-Todoroki-san...." she said in awe at his handsome face. "That was quite some.....match you had there. I'm sorry about your loss though, there was nothing you could've done". Though she still smiled, a part of Momo felt kinda annoyed to hear that. That was one of the worst things to hear when you lose something. Her head immediately went to Delsin's conversation earlier. He basically said the same thing but he made her feel that she had a second chance, despite being knocked out of the competing rounds. He made her feel that she wasn't a loser despite having lost.
Todoroki, on the other hand, just did the cheap apology and just basically say she was no match from the get go but she let it go for the short minute she was sure he didn't mean it that way. "Y-Yeah, you're right". "Anyway, I noticed you looking at me before the match though and I was kinda getting the impression that you might have a sort of......affection towards me?". This made the girls heart drop to her toes. "R-R-R-R-Really? Y-You think?" she said, looking at the ground and blushing heavily. Shoto, meanwhile, was laughing on the inside. The girl was basically in love with him with how she was acting.
He had her right in his hands and he didn't even have to do too much to sweet talk her. She really was crazy for him. Shoto began to move on her, getting close to her as he had her pinned to the hallway wall. Momo looked somewhat between afraid yet so aroused at how fiercely he looked at her. "Oh come on now, Yaomomo. It's too late in the game to be lying now. I seen the way you stared at me in class. How you blush everytime my is on you. You have it bad for me, don't you?". Momo just kept blushing as Shoto inched his face closer to her. "You want me, don't you Yaomomo?".
It got so bad that she couldn't hold out anymore. "......Yes, I want you. I want to be with you Shoto-kun". That made Todoroki smile inwardly. 'Checkmate, Rowe-san, you lose.....'. "Then be with me then, Momo-chan". Todoroki inched his face closer and soon, his lips planted on Yaoyorozu's, kissing her with all the pseudo-passion he can muster, though Yaoyorozu ate it up easily and kissed back just has much. Her body felt like it was floating. His lips were so enticing, she couldn't get enough of it.
Though all good things must come to an end, Todoroki stopped the kiss and looked at his handiwork and smiled. She was so out of it. It was like her soul and mind just left her body for a quick errand, leaving the body just slumped like she was now. Shoto planted his lips next to her ear. "....you, me, tonight after the festival. I'll take you out. You like that?". Yaoyorozu couldn't even speak because her she was in her own mind but she was still able to comprehend what he just said so she nodded her head.
Todoroki smiled at her while he walked off, leaving the poor girl to catch herself and feeling like a winner. With this, he'll prove that no matter what, he'll always be better than Rowe, no matter what he did, he'll always just be second best to him, Shoto Todoroki. Once he left, Momo was left by herself to think about what just happened. "Oh.... My.... God....." she said. Despite her usual high polite and grand etiquete her parents drilled into her, Yaoyorozu was still a normal teenaged girl. So it wasn't totally out of place for her to squeal like a teenage girl either.
