We spent the day together just playing Outlast Two. At around seven though I tell him that I have to head back.

"I'll see you later," he says as he walks me to the door.

"Bye babe," I say and turn to kiss him. Our kiss last longer than I meant for it to but neither of us seem to mind.  Finally I put on my headphones and start my walk home. I make sure to use Soul Search all around me so I can pick up on malicious intent before it even gets close to me. I don't pick up on anything though. When I reach my house I see Caleb and Ethan outside leaning against Ethan's car. A dark blue 2015 Ford Fusion. Seeing his car reminds me I have to go online and make an appointment for the DMV to get my license. I was supposed to do it after my birthday.

"Hey guys," I say pulling off my headphones.

"Hey Virge. How was your day?" Ethan asks.

"It was great. What about you two?" I ask in return. They look at each other.

"It was amazing," Caleb tells me. Ethan smiles with relief and stands up straight.

"I'm glad you had fun. Well, I should go. Bye Virge. Bye Caleb," Ethan says still smiling. He goes around to the drivers side and climbs into his car. He drives off with a final wave. I look at Caleb who's watching the car with a dreamy look on his face.

"Coming?" I ask as I gesture to my house. He snaps out of his daze and follows me into the house.

"So? Tell me everything," I say as we sit on the couch.

"Well first we went to this little diner where we had lunch. We sat there for maybe an hour just talking about stuff. Then we went for a walk through downtown before going to the movies. When the movie was over we went back to the diner for dinner. After that he drove me back here and..." he says but trails off.

"And?" I push. He bites his lip to conceal a smile.

"And he kissed me!" Caleb squeals.

"Oh my god!" I say clapping my hands together.

"So he finally told you," I add.

"Yeah. Earlier at the dinner he mentioned that he was bisexual but I didn't realize it meant he liked me until he kissed me. Unless..." he says with his voice going lower.

"Unless?" I ask.

"Unless he doesn't like me. What if he just kissed me to see what it was like to kiss a guy? Or what if he only felt like he had to because the whole thing felt so much like a date? Or maybe-" he questions but I cut him off.

"Don't be stupid Caleb. Of course he likes you. Ethan wouldn't kiss you if he didn't like you. He isn't like that," I tell him. He smiles again.

"You're right. He's just so amazing and perfect. I can't believe he likes me. You know?" he tells me.

"What's not to like?" I ask seriously. He smiles even brighter and hugs me.

"Thank you," he tells me.

"Of course. Now you already ate but how about some shakes. Vanilla ice cream with orange soda and we can watch something before bed?" I ask him and he happily nods. I go into the kitchen to make our shakes while he sets up Netflix.

I grab two cups and put some ice cream in each one. Then I grab the orange soda and add it. After mixing them both up to make it into a shake I head into the living room with them in hand.

"Here you go," I say handing one of the cups to Caleb.

"Thanks," he tells me. We watch more of the Arrow as we drink our shakes. An hour or two passes by when Caleb yawns.

"Lets head to bed," I tell him as I turn off the TV. He nods and heads back to my room while I put our dishes in the sink. My mom is still at work so it's just us tonight. I go back into my room to find Caleb already curled up under the covers. I climb into bed next to him and make sure to keep a space between us.

"Goodnight Virgil," he says already half asleep.

"Goodnight Caleb," I tell him.

The next morning I wake up before Caleb. I reach for my phone that I had next to me and check the time. 9:09 am. I climb out of bed and head into the bathroom. After brushing my teeth I go into the kitchen with my phone in hand. My mom is already in there making coffee. One of the few things we both know how to make.

"Morning mom," I say sitting at the table.

"Morning honey," she says turning to look at me with a smile.

"Did you make enough for me?" I ask. She nods and grabs two cups. She pours the coffee before handing me my cup. I thank her. I add some sugar and creamer. I talk to my mom for a few minutes when Caleb comes in already dressed. I still need to get dressed for the day.

"Morning," he says sitting next to me. My mom and I both say good morning.

"Are you guys hungry? I saw some eggs. I can make breakfast sandwiches for us," Caleb says with a smile

"You don't have to but you're welcome to," my mom tells him.

"It's the least I can do since you're letting me stay here," he says standing up. He goes over to the fridge and gathers the stuff to make breakfast. Fifteen minutes later there's a delicious looking sandwich in front of me.

"You'll make one hell of a wife for Ethan," I say before taking a bite.

"Virgil!" he exclaims as he sets down a plate for my mom and one for himself.

"Aww. Are you and Ethan dating now?" my mom asks Caleb. "How sweet," she adds.

"N-No we're not!" he says waving his hands in front of him.

"Yet," I say nonchalantly. His face goes beet red but me and my mom just chuckle.

"You two," he mumbles before taking a bite of his own food.

"We're only messing with you," I tell him with a smile.

"Do you want to date him?" my mom asks him.

"Well yeah but I don't know if he wants that. Also I'm not sure if it's too soon," he explains. My phone goes off.

Ethan: Are you up...?

You: i am. what's up?

Ethan: I came out to my parents.

You: what did they say?

Ethan: They told me I would burn in hell and that I was no longer their son. On the bright side they won't kick me out until I turn 18. So I have a few months to figure shit out.

You: i'm sorry man. well you're welcome here anytime

Ethan: Thanks man. Mind if I come over? I'm kind of just sitting in my room right now because my parents don't want to look at me.

You: of course.

Ethan: Thanks again.

A few minutes later I hear the doorbell ring.

"Caleb, can you get that?" I ask him. He looks at me weird but gets up to answer it.

"Ethan! W-What are you doing here?" Caleb stutters out when he opens the door. I stand up and walk over to the door.

"Virgil invited me over," Ethan says walking inside.

"Hey man. You good?" I ask him. He looks at me with a smile and says he's fine. However I can see his soul is dark blue.

"Did something happen?" my mom asks as she walks in.

"My parents didn't take my bisexuality very well," Ethan explains with a pained look.

"I'm so sorry. Do you need somewhere to stay? You're welcome here," she says with a sad smile.

"No thank you Ms. Crane. At least not until I'm eighteen," he tries to joke but it's obvious he meant it.

"Are you okay?" Caleb asks. I look at Caleb and I can see he feels bad. He probably feels like it's his fault. Ethan must see it too because he grabs Caleb's hand and gives it a squeeze.

"I'm fine," Ethan tells him.

"Okay. You hungry?" Caleb asks.

"Starving," is Ethan's response. Caleb smiles and goes into the kitchen to make another breakfast sandwich. While he's doing that I finish the rest of mine. Ethan eats his sandwich and thanks Caleb. Once he's finished eating we go into the living room.

"So are you excited about going to our school?" I ask Caleb.

"Yeah. I'm a little nervous though if I'm being honest. I haven't been to public school since fourth grade when I begged my parents to home school me," he explains nervously. I nod and watch him bite his lip. It's obvious he wants to say something but is avoiding it.

Now I'm not a mind reader but it's obvious he wants to talk to Ethan about something. He's just nervous. I'm also relatively sure he wants to ask about what they are now. Guess I'll give him a little push.

"You two obviously need to talk after your scandalous kiss last night. I'll give you two a minute," I say standing up. Both Ethan and Caleb go red and glance at each other. I smirk and go back to my room. I also grab my mom who was standing in the entrance to the hallway.

"Let's give these two a minute," I whisper to her. She nods with a smile and follows me. She goes into her room and I follow.

"Are you heading to work today?" I ask her.

"Not today sweetie. I'm off," she tells me.

"Awesome. Well I was going to maybe head out to the mall with the guys. Is that cool?" I ask her.

"Are you asking because you need a ride or want an advance on your allowance?" she asks with a knowing smile.

"Allowance please," I say with a hopeful smile. She laughs and goes over to her purse.

"Also are you off tomorrow? I made an appointment at the DMV to get my license," I tell her.

"That's why you need an advance?" she asks and I nod. I'm using the money I already have to pay for my license.

"Okay and yeah I can take you tomorrow. What time?" she asks.

"It's for 9:30 am. Is that okay?" I ask her. She nods as she hands me $100.

"This is too much," I try to tell her.

"It's fine," she tells me.

"Mom. This is too much. I only wanted like $20. I can't take this," I tell her.

"Okay. The truth is your dad left that for your birthday. $50 from him and $50 from me. This way we had an excuse to give you a gift. I've been waiting for you to ask for money so I could give it to you," she explains. I sigh but thank her.

"How many years have you done this?" I ask her.

"Ever since you turned 13 and wouldn't let us buy you gifts," she says with a cheeky grin.

"Of course. Well thank you but no more doing this. I don't need gifts or money because you already give me everything I need. You even give me allowance," I explain to her.

"Oh let us give you something. It's our job as parents as to spoil you on your birthday," she tells me.

"Fine," I say and give her a hug. She hugs me back. When we pull apart I leave the room and go to my own. I grab grey skinny jeans and a black long sleeve. I grab my house keys and my phone. I also throw on my black beanie before going into the living room. As soon as I walk in I see Caleb and Ethan making out on my couch. I clear my throat and the two jump apart.

"Smooth," I tell them. Ethan shrugs and Caleb avoids looking at either of us.

"We're going to the mall. Come on Ethan. You have to drive," I say as I'm walking to my front door. Ethan grabs Caleb's hand and pulls him with us.
