~Timeskip, Ten Years Later~
Onui is seen inside of her home. Its been ten years after the Demon Slayer Corps has been disbanded. Right now she had a smile on her face as she looked at the sky.
"These years have been so peaceful. Yozora's hard work has really paid off."
Onui smiled as she remembers what's happened so far. Her, Nora, and Shinobu were all married to Yozora. The boy started his own business. She still laughs when she thinks about the name.
"I still can't believe he actually calls it the Yozora Detective Agency just because Nora suggested it as a joke."
Onui couldn't help but admire Yozora though. Even now, he still tries to make sure the future is a good one. He protects the people he cares for and tries to be someone he's proud of. Soon Onui heard someone knocking at the door. As she opened it, she smiled as she saw Nora and Shinobu.
"Onui, i see you're doing well as usual."
"You haven't changed a bit Shinobu."
Shinobu and Onui laughed. Seeing this, Nora joined in too. When they stopped, Onui looked at Nora. She knew that Nora was Yozora's assistant at the agency. If she's here that means Yozora and the others have a day off or they're just hungry.
"Don't worry. Yozora said he's alright. He'll be home the same time as usual after he deals with some bandits causing some trouble. You have my word."
Shinobu and Onui smiled as they heard this. Yozora hasn't changed much over the years, though there were some changes that were easy to notice. Soon they started to pray. As they did, Nora was confused.
"Are you praying for Yozora's safety?"
"No, we're praying the poor souls that are causing trouble. Yozora doesn't hold back when someone disrupts the peace."
Nora thought about it for a moment. When she first told Yozora about the bandits, he just had a sadistic smile on his face as he grabbed a pair of tonfa. She even remembered what he said.
"I see. So they intend to steal from women and children, destroyed property, and even went as far as threatening the victims. I'll bite them to death."
"You know what......i think i'll pray with you."
~Meanwhile~
A group of bandits were seen inside of an abandoned building. After robbing a town near them, they were quite happy with themselves. Soon their leader began to speak.
"It seems as though it was successful. That's good. After all, only the strong should be able to prosper."
Raven, the leader of the bandit group spoke with confidence. She knew that there were barely any people who could stop her. As the bandits started to enjoy themselves they heard a loud noise from just outside their base.
"What is going on?!"
"Miss Raven, we seem to have some intruders forcing their way into our base!!!!"
Raven had a look of irritation on her face. She was wondering who it was that was bold enough to barge into her territory.
~Outside Raven's Base~
"Good work, Sanemi."
"It was no problem, Boss."
Standing outside of the abandoned base were five individuals. The former Wind Pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa. The former Water Pillar, Giyuu Tomioka. The former demon slayer, Genya Shinazugawa. The former Mist Pillar, Muichiro Tokito. As they looked behind them, they saw their boss walking out of the shadows.
"Well then, what should we do Boss?"
"No need to call me Boss, Muichiro. After all, on the battlefield we're all equals. As for what to do, we'll do things like we always do at the Detective Agency. Anyone who disrupts the peace......"
The boss of group stepped outside of the shadows. He had short hair that appeared messy. He wore a simple black suit, with a purple shirt and black necktie. He also had a ring on his wedding finger. Soon he held his weapons, a pair of tonfa, in his hands.
"..........will be bitten to death."
This man was Yozora Tsugikuni, the former Moon Pillar and the boss of the Night Sky (Yozora) Detective Agency. As the group ran into the base, they split up to cover more ground. As Yozora was running, he sensed the ki of multiple bandits trying to sneak up on him.
"Hmph. You all saved me the trouble. Now then, its time someone taught you mongrels about some discipline."
Yozora coated his tonfa with Rain Flames. Soon he smiled as he was prepared to fight off the people who are disturbing the peace.
"Let's make this quick. I have wives i need to get back to. I don't want to make them worry."
~With Raven~
The leader of the bandits was getting slightly nervous. The once loud and rowdy hideout that she knew was starting to grow silent. Yet she never heard any screaming. Its most likely that her lackeys were knocked out.
Raven grabbed her sword and ran to where she heard the most fighting going on. As she did, she remembered a rumor that's been going around. A group of people who don't kill criminals but dispose of them thoroughly. A group who's boss is said to be so strong that he stopped using his swords because he was afraid of killing someone by accident.
When she arrived at her destination, she saw a mountain of bodies on the floor. All of her lackeys were knocked out as a single man was in front of her.
"So you're the intruder. You're quite young and handsome."
"Hate to break it to you, but i'm a happily married man. Besides, anyone who disrupts the peace is an enemy in my book."
Yozora charged at Raven with inhuman speed. He jabs one of his tonfa's into her gut. The woman swung her sword, but Yozora quickly backflipped away to dodge it.
Raven lunged at Yozora and thrusts her sword numerous times at him. But the man had a bored expression as he dodged her attacks. It was as if he's faced worse before. Raven frowns as she tries to impale Yozora, but the man knocked away her sword by swinging his tonfa with incredible force.
"Raven.....you stole various goods and destroyed property. But what pisses me off most is that you had the audacity to threaten the people who only wished for peace. So then......are you ready to repent? Because if not......"
Yozora ignites his tonfa with Rain Flames. As Raven looked at Yozora, she felt like this man was leagues above of her in every way.
".....i'll bite you to death."
"You bastard, don't look down on me!!!!"
Raven dashed at Yozora with great speed. She swung her sword multiple times, but Yozora countered each strike with his tonfas as he looked at her in the eyes.
"You're misunderstanding something. I never looked down on you. If anything, you're overestimating your own skills."
Raven suddenly stopped swinging her blade as she felt immense pain. When she looked down, she saw that Yozora kneed her in the gut. Soon Yozora sweeps her leg and pinned her down to the ground.
"Let's get one thing straight Raven. If you EVER try something like this again, next time i'll use my swords. Unlike god, i never show mercy more than once."
Raven felt a shiver down her spine. She could tell that this man was serious. Soon Yozora got up and starts to walk outside as his kasugai crow landed on his shoulder.
"Inform the others that i got the leader of the bandits to surrender. Make sure they know that she got a warning."
The crow nodded as it flew through the base to inform Yozora's comrades. As he was walking home, he heard Raven asking him one thing.
"Who are you?"
"Yozora Tsugikuni. A man with people to protect."
~Meanwhile~
Onui, Shinobu, and Nora were waiting at home. As they did, they saw the door opening. Soon they saw Yozora walking inside.
"Sorry that i'm late, i had some business to take care of."
They all smiled when they saw Yozora walking inside of the house. As this happened, Onui smiled as she walked up towards him as kissed his cheek.
"Welcome back. While you were busy at work, me and the others made these for you."
Shinobu and Nora walked up to Yozora as they were carrying a box. When they opened the box, Yozora saw something beautiful.
"OH MY GOD!!!!! You.....made these donuts for me....."
"Of course we did. We know you work hard, so we thought we'd surprise you."
"I love you all so much."
Yozora had tears in his eyes as he happily ate the donuts. Soon he shared them with Shinobu, Onui, and Nora. However, they were surprised that Yozora of all people was sharing donuts.
"Well.....you're the ones who made them. Its only fair that you all get to eat them too."
The women giggled when they saw Yozora's face. Even after ten years, his adorable nature hasn't changed. Yozora smiled as he walks into his room. When he did, he looked at something that was hanging on his wall.
"I'll wear this haori when i become a person worthy of it, Rengoku-san. So when i become a person i'm proud of...that's when i'll wear it."
Yozora smiled as he remembered the promise he made. He took down Rengoku's haori from the wall. In one swift motion, he puts on Rengoku's haori. As he was walking back into the other room to see his wives. One thought crossed his mind.
"People who love me unconditionally, a place where i can be myself, someone who protects and preserves the peace. I finally did it Rengoku-san. I became a person......that i'm finally proud of. And i found a place where i truly belong."
Thus ends the tale of Yozora Tsugikuni the Moon Pillar. Now he is Yozora Tsugikuni, a man who only wants to protect the people he cares for and to make a future where everyone is happy. After a long struggle....he's finally learned to love others and himself. Yozora Tsugikuni.......has now become his own person.
