Special Chapter 1: The ISITL Q and A
Hi everyone! Una sa lahat gusto kong magpasalamat sa lahat ng mga sumuporta sa It Started in the Library na siyang isa sa mga experimental writing project ko sa Wattpad. Salamat sa mga nakiiyak, nagalit, nakiramay, at nasiyahan sa kuwento ni Aya at Prince. Ako'y lubos na nagagalak na magkaroon ng mga bagong kaibigan dahil sa kuwentong ito. Marami akong natutunan sa aking pagsusulat dahil sa mga nagbabasa at nagtitiyagang mag-iwan ng komento. Hindi niyo lang alam pero lahat kayo ay naging inspirasyon ko.
This chapter is dedicated to all the loyal readers of ISITL. XD Haha, dito ko sasagutin ang inyong mga katanungan. Namili ako ng mga questions na galing sa mga fans na gusto nilang sagutin ng characters.
1. Sino sa Zabala brothers ang pinaka-vain? (from gingerbreadprincess)
Si Alfredo. Kailangan daw y'on para maka-attract ng girls.
2. To Alfredo: kailan ka pa nahumaling kay Lady? (from LifeIsRed)
Nahumaling si Alfredo kay Lady when he was 21. Paborito na talaga niya ang Nissan Skyline GTR because he loves 'speed in the corners'. Lady is not his first car though. Ang unang kotse niya ay isang Honda Civic RS na kagaya ng kay Ali.
3. For Yaya Maring - kailan nagsimula maging ladies' man si Alfredo? Di niyo po ba pinipingot ang tenga? (from lunatrix)
Yaya Maring: Hay naku three years old pa lang yan ang hilig na magpapansin sa girls! Lagi siya nagpapa-cute du'n sa mga kapitbahay namin. Parati ko namang pinapagalitan pero, wala, gwapo kasi talaga ang baby Alfredo ko. (proud yaya!)
4. To Aidan: Bakit wala s'yang niligawan sa personal? Given na yung reason n'ya sa chapter 42, I mean, lalaki s'ya, hindi ba s'ya nagkagusto or natempt sa totoong tao na nasa palagid nya unlike sa internet? (from LifeIsRed)
Aidan suffers from fictiophilia-- in love with fictional characters. Real girls didn't interest him. He finds love online, kaso parati siyang nawawalan ng interes when they meet him in real life because their internet personalities pale in comparison to the real them. Kaya nga when he met Red, ang unang comment niya, "...para siyang si Angelina Jolie sa Lara Croft." A real girl who embodies the badass beauties that he dreams of. Of course, plus factor na rin na hindi siya kagaya ng ibang babae na nagiging stalker once na-meet siya. Aidan is pretty much a joker, pero he is not comfortable with loud girls. Call it fate, call it love-at-first-sight, but Aidan saw his ideal girl in Red. And when Aidan Zabala wants something, he strives to get it.
5. To Ali: we all know that you care a lot for your family and for Ria (syempre. Pasintabi sa mga nasasaktan. Haha) at alam din namin na ayaw mo at takot ka (siguro? Somehow, I think?) na masaktan sila or may mangyaring masama sa kanila. Pero aside from that, may iba ka pa bang kinatatakutan? (from icenearth)
Ali: Being caught without a plan. I don't like being surprised which is why I prepare answers for multiple scenarios before I go out to the field.
6. Aya, madami na din kayong napagdaanan ni Prince. Pero what if circumstances come to worst at dumating sa point na kailangan mong pumili between your family and Prince, sino pipiliin mo? (from icenearth)
Aya: I hope hindi aabot sa ganoon. I really want my family and Prince to be with me. Ayokong mamili. Ako na lang ang mawawala.
7. Aya: Ano ang feeling na maging nag-iisang prinsesa ng mga Zabala? (from aqsicariza)
Aya: Masaya po. Kasi andami kong mga kuya na sobrang love ako. Tapos madami din ako natututunan sa kanila kasi iba-iba yung mga talents nila. Si Kuya Alphonse tinuruan kami lahat na humawak ng baril, si Kuya Albert sobrang street-savvy, si Kuya Alejandro tinuruan ako ng photography saka outdoor skills, si Kuya Ali ng self-defense, si Kuya Alfredo naman ng driving saka cooking. So masasabi ko na super swerte ako. Si Kuya Aidan magaling mag-bake saka mag-drawing, si Kuya Adam naman parati kasama sa mountain climbing.

Kung ilan ang kaya ni Babycake. Pero sa ngayon gusto ko one dozen, of course.

Alphonse: Hands down si Alfredo. Makulit lang si Albert, tapos si Ali masungit pero si Alfredo parating napupunta sa office kasi siya ang pinakamabilis uminit ang ulo at basagulero.

Ali: When all the agents reach optimal weight and the productivity in the HQ reaches 90 percent. Pasalamat kayo mabait na ako. *smirks*
13: To the Zabala brothers: if you could trade places with your brothers for a day who would it be and why? Or would you even? (from cpsanti)
Aidan: Ako! Gusto ko maging si Kuya Ali para 24/7 ko na pwede makasama si Babycake tapos ako pipili ng mission niya. *whispers* ang mission ni babycake lagi kasama ako.... *grins*
14. To Ali: Ipapaalam mo ba sa mga anak mo ang totoong trabaho mo when they grow old? Kung gusto nila sundan ang yapak mo, papayag ka? (from PrivateHeroine)
Ali: Yes. I believe mas maiintindihan ako ng mga anak ko kung alam nila ang totoo. The key to good relationships is trust, and I trust my children because I'm the one who brought them up. If they wanted to be an agent? Sure, why not? Basta sundin nila kung anong gusto nilang maging, provided that it's moral and ethical.

To Ali: Kung hindi ka isang agent, anong trabaho ang meron ka?
Ali: Systems Analyst.
To Alfredo: Anong meron si Trix na wala kami?
Alfredo: Mi bella, why are you asking such questions? You are perfect in your own way and you have a perfect match somewhere. My Trixie is my perfect match, we complement each other. She's the quiet to my turbulent attitude, the sweetness to my brash persona, and we both love cars though in different ways. I love racing cars, she loves taking them apart and putting them back together in a much, much better condition than their original specs.
To Prince: Sa tingin mo kung hindi matinta ang ballpen mo, saan kayo unang magkita ni Aya?
Prince: Well naniniwala talaga ako that fate will bring us together. Puwedeng sa Main Lib pa rin, puwedeng makilala ko siya through Adam, or baka mamaya makasabay ko siyang kumain ng fishball sa Vinzon's.
To Red: Saan nagawa ang babycakes?
Red: *glares* *brings out hunting knife* Wala kang pake. -__-
To Aldrich: Anong type mo sa girl?
Aldrich: Yung animal-lover saka mabait.

Hindi ko pa alam... hahaha... baka sa ibang stories makaisip ako.

Jaguar: *smirks* Nagrereklamo ka Icen? Sigurado ka?
Icen: *gulps* Ah..eh...
Jaguar: At ng dahil diyan, pati Pocky, Speculoos, at Cadbury bawal na sa HQ.
And sudden screams of bloody murder was heard throughout the HQ.
17: To Ali: Kung nasa isla kayo ng mga agents mo at kelangan mong pumili ng babaeng lalahian para magpatuloy ang humanity, sino at bakit? (from reiku14)
Ali: The bottomline is, I cannot 'save humanity' if I was the only male alive. Even if I pick one of them, the genes of the future generations will be so intricately entwined that our next generation will be in incestous relationships which I do not support (this coming from a philosophical point of view.) Biologically speaking, one single male set of genes will also yield a weaker genome. My future children would have a great possibility of inheriting disease/conditions making them prone to death and diseases (see x and y-linked diseases).
18. To AlaraChan: Anong work mo sa tunay na buhay at saan nagmula ang inspiration mo sa Zabala brothers?
Writer: Madami akong work. Workaholic ako eh... huehue..Joke! May family business kami. XD Ang inspiration ng Zabala brothers ay ang kuya ko saka yung mga naging kuya ko habang lumalaki ako.
19. To Ali: Kung mag-a-apply kaming agents, anong qualification?
Ali: Multi-lingual, physically and mentally-fit. Able to think on their feet, flexible, cooperative, loyal and strong-willed. The other things can be learned like markmanship, driving, etc. but these qualities are the foremost we need to stay on the job.
20. To Aidan: Bukod kay Red, sino sa mga agents ang pwedeng potential girlfriend/wife mo?! I mean kung walang Red? (from StrwbrryJem)
Aidan: O__O Walang babycake? *sulks in corner* *whispers* pero si Babycake lang mahal ko... true love itoooo.... *cries*
21. May plano ba ang agency na gumamit ng technologically-advanced na equipment? Like gadgetry and stuff? O hindi pa iyon iniimplement so far?
W: Matagal na silang gumagamit ng technologically-advanced equipment. May sarili silang laboratory na pinag-te-testingan nito.
22. Ano ang kumpletong hitsura ng HQ?
W: Classified information. Gusto mo bang ma-infiltrate tayo?
23. To Adam: May point bang gumive-up ka sa love? Kay Rin?
Adam: I already gave up on love until I met Z, then my feelings resurfaced. Pero hindi tulad noon, I'm now mature and responsible of my actions and decisions.
24. Kaninong POVs ang ma-fe-feature sa SC maliban kila Ali at Ria? May mga bago bang characters na aabangan?
W: Mostly Ali POV ang Star-Crossed but there will be new characters such as Alejandro and Aldrich Zabala.
25. May chance pa ba ang Adam/Carissa sa SC?
W: Adam, ikaw sumagot nito! Oi!
26. Ano ang history ni Ali at Rika?
W: Abangan sa SC. Huehue...

ISITL Trivia:
Fact #1: ISITL was supposed to have only 20 chapters and an epilogue, but during the course of writing the story I realized that I wanted something more that would make it different from other stories. I wanted a story with badass characters that are not gangsters (no offense to gangster stories/writers), or too much romance (after writing the first 13 chapters in one sitting, I was sick of the saccharine-overload), and fun. I wanted to share my adventures, hence the chapters on Sagada and the car-racing arc.
Fact #2: Ali was not supposed to have such a big role in the story. Chapter 14 was pivotal because it was spur-of-the-moment. Na-bore lang talaga ako magsulat ng romance at drama. Hindi kasi talaga ako romance writer. Mas gusto ko ang action and adventure na genre. Chapter 24 was also the same way. If bluebaiyou did not request for Alfredo in chapter 23, walang chapter 24 na nag-introduce sa badass side ni Alfredo. Hahaha!
Fact #3: After chapter 33, I had no idea how to continue the story anymore, hence the filler chapters of Days with You, and Wants and Needs. Na-challenge ako ng husto na i-top yung action ng Chapter 31-33. Yung racing arc with Nathan was also a filler until naka-isip ako ng tamang ending.
