(Samie's POV)
While I was trying to contact dad, I heard something that caught my attention.
"How is it that a baby with no extraordinary magical talent was able to defeat the greatest wizard of all time? How did you escape with nothing but a scar while Lord Voldemort's powers were destroyed?"
"Why do you care how he escaped? Voldemort was after your time." I asked. They both looked at me
"But darling here is how your wrong. Voldemort is my past, present and future." Tom guy said
He then spelled out his name on the air. He mixed the letters and now it spelled 'I AM LORD VOLDEMORT'
I feel my stomach dropped on the floor. How can Harry be so chill. Well he did met him last year and he is also a Gryfindor. If I were Harry I would punch him but probably not the most sensible idea.
"You." I stated
"You're the Heir of Slytherin." Harry finishes
"You're Voldemort." I said.
"Surely you didn't think I was going to keep my filthy muggle father's name. No, I fashioned myself a new name. A name I knew Wizards everywhere would one day fear to speak when I became the greatest sorcerer in the world."
"Albus Dumbledore is the greatest sorcerer in the world." we said
"Don't you worry sweetie you will change your opinion in the future." He said to me terrifyingly calm.
He continued harshly as he looked at Harry, "Dumbedore's been driven out of this castle by the mere memory of me."
"He'll never be gone." I said
"Not as long as those who remain are loyal to him." Harry continued
Suddenly Faux came flying to us. He dropped the sorting hat onto Harry.
"So this is what Dumbledore sends his great defender. A song bird and an old hat."
Tom well Voldy then speak in Parstlemouth and asked the giant snake to kill us.
The Basilisk came and I immediately tell Harry to shut his eyes while I do the same. When I was about to run Voldy grabbed my arm and hold me down.
"Don't you worry sweetheart I won't let that thing touch you. I don't want my soon to be heiress be harmed. But if you try to escape I can't promise that I will not hurt you." he whispered in my ear.
Soon to be heiress?!?! What the hell does that mean???
"What do you mean?!" I asked panicked.
"Well you see sweetheart, you are very special. I can see myself in you. I want to train you to become the most powerful witch. I know that people judge you. What will happen if people find out that your Potter's sister? They will only recognize you for being the-boy-who-lived's sister. No matter how hard you try to prove yourself they will only remember you as his little sister."
I was doubting everything nobody told me I was special. The only one who did was dad but that doesn't count because... well he is my dad and that's his job. I know people already tagged me as Professor Snape's daughter, Dungeon bat's spawn and many more. I don't know what I will feel if being The-Boy-Who-Lived's sister is added to that list. I want to be known for me. Not for being someone's relative. While I was thinking he spoke to me again.
"You see it don't you? Be my daughter and you will be the most powerful, the most feared and the most respected witch the wizarding world has to offer."
I think for a second and then I smirked.
"All I wanted is to be known for who I am. But can't you see? If I join you there is another name I will be known for 'The Dark Lord's Daughter.' So I may have to reject that offer."
I quickly took Harry's wand from his hands and ran as far away from him. The Basilisk is still trying to get to Harry. I called faux over. Faux and I are pretty close. Since I was younger I always play with him.
"Faux! Come here!" He flew and landed on my shoulder.
"Hey baby can you please try to blind the big snake but please be careful." I asked while petting him. He chirped and went to the Basilisk.
Harry tripped and I felt that. Oh my Merlin Harry you will literally be the death of me. The Basilisk was ready to strike but luckily Faux was able to blind it.
"No! Your bird may have blinded the Basilisk but he can still hear you. You're lucky your sister is here if not you would be dead a minute ago. But Potter your sister can't always be there to protect you forever."
"Harry Run!" I shouted.
While he was running from the Basilisk I picked the sorting hat and I know there is a reason why Faux brought this. I ran toward Harry and the Basilisk. He was cornered and I am not going to be doing something dumb like scream and it will chase me. No that is what a Gryfindor would do I picked a rock and threw it to the other side. The Basilisk chased the sound and I tackled Harry into a hug.
He was about to talk but I covered his lips.
'Do you want to die?! Don't talk! The Basilisk is still near.'
'Sorry. Are you okay? Why did Voldemort grabbed you?'
'I'm fine. He told me he wanted me to be by his side. I think he knows that I will always try to protect you so why not take the hurdle and turn it against the golden boy.'
'I should be the one who is protecting you. I'm older and I defeated him once I could probably do it again'
'Enough of this we will protect each other deal?'
'deal'
'Now let's go to Ginny'
We ran towards Ginny and Harry sat down next to her. I just stood there trying to be a body guard.
"Yes Potter the process is nearly complete and in a few minutes Giny Weasley will be dead and I will ceased to be a memory. Lord Voldemort will return very much alive."
Then the giant snake burst out of the water. I think my heart just stop for a second there.
I feel the hat on my hands vibrate. I saw a sword.
'Harry look. Take it.'
Harry took the sword and I carried well more like dragged Ginny to the side while Harry do his heroic kind of thing.
'Harry try to climb at the statue so you can have a pretty good view on how to kill that thing.'
'Easier for you to say.'
'Don't be a wussy about it I was merely trying to keep your ass alive.'
'Sorry Sissy I am just so stressed about it.'
'Obviously'
Oh my Godric I am turning into my dad. Not good I don't want to be snarky.
Harry was now fighting it. After a few moments Harry fell. The sword almost fall but luckily Harry caught just in time to slice through the head of the monster. I felt a wave of pain on my arm.
"ARGHHH" I shouted
Voldemort looked at me confused on why I shouted in pain. Well he didn't know that me and Harry are bonded so his plan will 100% fail at me trying to help him harm Harry.
The Basilisk collapsed and Voldemort looked pissed. Oh how I wish I have a camera. But onto matters worse Me and Harry are going to die.
"Remarkable isn't it. How quickly the Basilisk penetrates the body. I guess you a little more than a minute to live. You will be with your mudblood mother soon Harry. Funny the damage of a silly little book can do especially on the hands of a silly little girl."
I was thinking carefully on how to get rid of Voldy. The venom will kill us that I know but can it harm him?
"I'm sorry Samie, you have to die because of me." Harry said.
"What are you talking about?" Voldy asked
"Me and Samie are bonded to each other. What happens to me happens to her."
"HARRY SHUT IT THIS IS NOT THE TIME NOR THE PERSON WHO YOU SHOULD BE SPILLING SECRETS TO!!!!" I shouted at him He is so dumb. I know we will probably die but still.
Voldemort was stunned. How many times he did that I do not know but come on let's be real, I am just so amazing.
'Harry you still have the tooth of the Basilisk right?'
'yeah why'
'Can you stab the diary for me.'
'Why'
'Just do it. I think we can still save Ginny.'
Harry stabbed the diary and black liquid came out of it. A light then suddenly came out of 16 yr old Voldy.
"Harry do it again!"
He did it again and again until Voldemort's body burst into light and into nothingness.
Ginny then woke up.
"Ginny." Harry said.
"Harry it was me and I swear I didn't mean to."
"I know" Harry said.
"Thank you thank you Harry for everything." He hugged Harry.
"Hey he isn't the only one who risked his life to save yours." I said in a playful glare
"Oh my Godric Samantha you're here too. Thank you so so much." Ginny hugged me.
Me and Harry are starting to get drowsy. The venom is taking a toll on us. I laid down and so does Harry.
I tried to contact my dad again.
'Help' I said to my dad. I can't add more because I don't have that much energy anymore.
"Harry can you open the giant door so Ginny can leave."
"What happened to you two you need medical attention."
"Sorry Ginny I don't think we will make it. The venom is too potent and there is almost no cure."
Ginny then sobbed
Harry hissed open and the door opened
(Severus' POV)
'Help'
I heard her. She needs me. How Can I open this bloody damn door!?
A minute has passed and the door suddenly opened.
What I saw made my stomach churn. I saw my little snake lying on the floor with Potter and Weasley sobbing.
I ran towards them.
"Hey dad." Samie said
"Don't hey dad me. What did I tell you about your adventures? look your hurt."
"Sorry" She mumbled
"Come on I'll take you to the medical wing."
"Dad I don't think we.... we won't make it dad."
The words I never want to here coming from her mouth.
"Don't be ridiculous it is just a scratch."
"Yeah that's it. The basilisk bit Harry and just like you told me there is almost no cure for it."
I stared at her and hugged her tightly trying so hard not to cry.
"I'm sorry dad." she said.
"No, don't be I won't let you die."
"But dad-" I cut her off
"Shh just relax don't waste your energy."
I was thinking and thinking and thinking. Then an Idea came to mind
"Honey, can you call Faux for me?"
"Yeah sure why."
"I just have an idea."
She then called Faux
"Faux can you please save my daughter." I pleaded to the bird
I saw the bird tilt his head and looked at Samie.
He cried on the wound and then It was gone. I saw some color creep into my daughter's skin.
I just hugged her and kissed her head.
"What- what was that?" Potter asked.
"The tears of phoenixes have immense healing powers, and are the only known antidote for basilisk venom. Capable of reviving a person from any injury, phoenix tears can save person even at the brink of death." I answered without looking at him.
I know I shouldn't blame him but I do. He was the one who was bitten and that itself made my little snake almost die, but I know Samie won't like it if I attack him here and now so I won't do anything. How I wish I could let him scrub a hundred cauldrons for a whole month but then Samie will feel sore too.
I hate this Bond.
