"Fist of Flowing Water, Crushing Rock!"
Rappa unleashes a flurry of punches all over Akaza's body. Soon he lands a hard punch to the demon's face and smashed his head against the wall as the walls started to crack. Soon Rappa drags Akaza's face on the wall and slams him to the ground. Rappa jumps back to gain some distance as he stood next to Tanjiro.
"Amazing. His arms were moving like flowing water, yet his attacks were crashing down on Akaza like a waterfall!"
"Tanjiro, right? Yozora has a message for you. Give Upper Moon Three hell."
".......right! After all, its the job of the strong to aid and protect the weak. Then the weak will become strong and aid other those weaker than them. Its the law of nature. Even Akaza was a human baby before. I'm sure someone protected and helped him."
Soon Akaza stood up to face his opponents. Yet, when he heard Tanjiro's words he felt an unpleasant feeling eating at him from the inside. Everything from Tanjiro's eyes, voice, and words scrape at his entrails from inside with a rasp.
"In the beginning, everyone's a baby at what they do. They get help from those around them, then remember what happened. But don't compare yourself to other people. The opponent you will always be fighting is yourself. What's important is to be stronger than who you were yesterday. You'll become wonderful if you keep going for ten or twenty years. And next time, you'll be the one helping people."
As Akaza heard these words ring in his head, he thought he felt someone touch his shoulder. As he swung his fist at the person who touched his shoulder, his eyes became wide when he realized he swung at nothing but air. Soon he looked towards Tanjiro and Rappa.
"You two......really are unpleasant."
Akaza charged at Tanjiro with great speed. As Akaza was preparing to attack, Rappa quickly grabbed Tanjiro by his haori and threw him out the way.
"Destructive Kill, Crush Style:Willow of a Thousand Flashes!!!!"
Akaza delivers a powerful downward punch that generates a large shockwave into the ground, causing massive damage to the ground. As Rappa jumped back, he was suddenly hit by a barrage of punches from Akaza as he was sent flying to a wall.
"Rappa!!!!!"
"Destructive Kill, Leg Style:Ring of a Thousand Flying Planets!!!!"
Akaza launched rapid, flowing rising kicks at Tanjiro. Tanjiro coughed up massive amounts of blood as Akaza's attack connected to his body. Rappa charged towards Akaza and attacks him with various strikes to his body.
Akaza felt Rappa breaking his ribs over and over again. Soon Rappa punched Akaza's face with enough force to send him flying backwards. Soon Rappa charged forward only to strike Akaza with multiple jabs before launching him into the ground.
Seeing this chance, Tanjiro focused his breathing as he made his move. With Rappa's assistance, the chance of defeating Akaza got a little higher.
"Dance of the Fire God:Soaring Flame Haze!!!"
Tanjiro charged towards Akaza, attacking him with a haze covered slash. Akaza jumped back and thought Tanjiro's attack failed. However, he was caught off guard when he felt blood escaping from his neck as it was slashed.
"What a magnificent technique! The tip of your blade looked like it was trapped in a haze!!!"
"Dance of the Fire God:Flame Wal-"
Before Tanjiro's attack could reach Akaza, the demon clapped his hands together and caught Tanjiro's blade before it could connect with him.
"Crap! If i don't do something, he'll snap my sword."
Tanjiro headbutts Akaza's head as hard as he could. Blood escapes from Akaza's nose, but he didn't release Tanjiro's sword. Soon Tanjiro kicked Akaza's chin, but the demon still wouldn't waver.
"Dammit, he's not letting go."
Suddenly Tanjiro fell to the ground with his blade released from Akaza's grip. When he looked forward he saw that Giyuu cut off Akaza's wrists, while Rappa punched the demon away from them. As Tanjiro looked at the two, he saw that they took a lot of damage.
"I'm angry now. There's a searing pain in my back. Great job blasting me all the way through several walls, Upper Moon Three. It took me forever to get back here."
"Oi!!!! Upper Demon, did you forget what i said. I won't stop until you feel three times the pain the brat felt that night!!!!"
After he grew back his limbs, Akaza charged forward and launched multiple punches and kicks at both of them. As Rappa used his own fists to block the punches, Giyuu used his blade to intercept Akaza's kicks. Giyuu felt his heart racing and temperature rising as he was actually giving it his all.
"I don't want to wield my blade to the best of my ability. And i don't like joining fights where the opponent swings at everything for the fun of it. But right now, i met someone so strong that he overwhelmed me for the first time in a long time. My dormant senses were slapped awake to a place where the strong face off."
As soon as Rappa punched Akaza away, Giyuu charged in and cuts off both of his hands as he gripped his sword tightly. As Akaza tries to kick Giyuu, the water pillar grabbed Akaza's foot before it could connect the attack.
"The moment we call a life-or-death struggle is a matter of how much one can stretch their true abilities!"
Giyuu quickly tossed Akaza aside. Soon he immediately dashed at the demon as swung his blade even faster than before. Akaza caught Giyuu's sword, but the water pillar soon lands a strong punch onto the demon's face.
"Dammit, so he's awakened his mark."
"Breath of Water, Fourth Form:Striking Tide!!!!!"
Giyuu makes multiple consecutive slashes while twisting his body in a flowing fashion similar to a harsh tide. To counter this, Akaza strikes at Giyuu when he found a small opening during Giyuu's attack. While Akaza had one of his hands split in half, Giyuu was bleeding from the right side of his head.
Rappa soon punched the ground as the floor beneath Akaza broke apart. Soon Rappa jumped into the air and slams his fists onto Akaza's body he shows no sign stopping.
Soon Tanjiro charged forward as he gripped his sword tightly. As he swung his blade at Akaza, the demon jumped up and slams his foot down on Rappa's back. Soon he charged towards Tanjiro as he threw a punch. As Tanjiro side stepped he swung his swung at Akaza, but the demon jumped back to dodge the attack. However, he surprised when he saw that Tanjiro's blade left a scratch on his arm. When Tanjiro saw this, he had one thought.
"It was brief.....it was only for a moment....but when i looked at Akaza, I could've sworn his whole body was transparent for a moment."
Rappa suddenly grabs Akaza's leg and slams the demon onto the ground several times, before throwing him through a wall. As he Rappa turned towards Tanjiro, he asked Tanjiro one question.
"So then, did you see it? The world that Yozora has been seeing ever since he was a child. If so don't forget that sight. It just may be our key to victory."
Soon Giyuu, Rappa, and Tanjiro stood side by side as Akaza stood back up. With a smile on his face, Akaza looked at his three opponents.
"Amazing, simply amazing! All three of you truly are strong! Come, let's continue this battle until you die!!!"
As the three fighters looked at their opponent, Rappa was thinking of what to next. After a brief moment, Rappa simply said one thing.
"Giyuu, Tanjiro. I only have one thing to say. LET'S SHOW THIS DEMON JUST HOW TERRIFYING WE HUMANS CAN BE!!!!"
"Right!!!!!"
As the three of them were ready for battle, Rappa clenched his fists. He knew he was already at his limit. That's why he'll have to use his last resort.
"Sorry brat. I already know i won't be of much help against Muzan. So if i'm going to go down, i'm going down my own way. Sorry Yozora, looks like we won't be able to have that rematch. But know this, i'll defeat this bastard even if it kills me!!!!"
