| I N T R O D U C T I O N |
this section has all the poems that were written in anger or frustration, when i couldn't stand up for myself or when i felt wrong about something but failed to fix it. this is my world of all the emotions that i usually don't like to express. but after writing these poems, i felt relieved. i often glorified these emotions into scenarios of war in my mind and that somehow ended up being in some of my poems. even if that feeling no longer lingers in the darkest parts of me, i still believe that these poems and emotions are valid and they should be here, in this book. poetry has often helped me to let go of grudges or anger, and once i let it all out in words, it becomes easier to accept them. i hope that you will like these poems about my wine and war.
