Suddenly Kokushibo and Yozora were clashing swords again. Yet the demon noticed something, Yozora was faster and stronger than before. As they pushed each other back, both fighters prepared their next attack.
"Breath of the Moon, Fourteenth Form:Catastrophe - Tenman Crescent Moon!!!!!!"
Both Kokushibo and Yozora swung their swords and created a chaotic vortex of powerful omni-directional slashes that destroys whatever is caught up within its attack radius. The ground and everything around then were sliced apart multiple times. As dust fills the air, Yozora charged forward.
Kokushibo looked at the boy, as he saw the way his muscles were moving, he could tell he was going for another feint like last time. Yozora swung his sword as Kokushibo jumped back. As he saw Yozora drop the sword in his other hand, Kokushibo thought he managed to avoid the real attack of his sword, but he suddenly saw Yozora's muscle movement change during the attack.
"Breath of the Moon, First Form: Dark Moon - Evening Palace!"
Yozora draws his sword and slashes swiftly in a single motion; like with all Moon Breathing techniques, numerous chaotic blades originate from the slash. As Kokushibo felt his body being ripped apart, he thought to himself.
"He used the same body movement for Shigure Soen Ryu only to immediately change it to use Breath of the Moon. This boy......is more dangerous than i thought."
"Come, Kokushibo. This fight is only beginning."
~With Rengoku~
Rengoku and Akaza were quickly exchanging strikes at each other consecutively. Akaza was enjoying this, he could tell Rengoku was getting stronger. As he looked at the pillar's face, he saw a flame patterned mark on the right side of his face.
"That's it, Kyojuro!!!! But still, you should become a demon! Then this newfound strength you have acquired can be yours for centuries! Even if you've gotten stronger now, the wounds on your body haven't healed one bit!!!"
"I refuse!!!!! To struggle, to persevere, and to die after experiencing all the things you did in life! That's what makes humans so beautiful!!!!!"
Rengoku delivers a hard punch towards Akaza's face. As the demon stood up, Rengoku was already in front of him. He wasn't going to let this chance slip.
Rengoku charged forward as swung his blade at incredible speed. Akaza felt his body being repeatedly pierced by Rengoku's sword. He was impressed, but he knew Rengoku was at his limit. He kicks the flame pillar away from him as he prepares to launch his own attack.
"That's it Kyojuro! This is what it means to be strong. Are you really willing to give up this power for the weak?"
"It's the duty of the powerful....to protect and nurture the weak!!!"
Rengoku lifts his sword sword. His entire body was aching. But he needed to end this battle here and now. As he takes a deep breath, Akaza took a stance.
"In one moment, i'm going to thoroughly hollow out most of the area."
"What a wonderful fighting spirit! You have so many wounds, yet your drive, your fortitude, and your stance has no openings! You should really become a demon, Kyojuro! Let's fight for eternity!!!"
Rengoku was focusing his breathing. He was putting everything he has into this attack. He will not let a single person die here as long as he is standing.
"Total Concentration. Breath of Flames, Ninth Form:Purgatory!!!!"
"Technique Deployment. Destructive Kill:Obliteration Style!!!!"
From a high stance, Rengoku unleashed a devastating dashing slash that left a deep impression on the ground. To counter this, Akaza made an explosive jump forward as he followed it up with a punch. As the two attacks connect, a large explosion occurs as dust fills the air.
~With Yozora~
Kokushibo and Yozora were striking at each other with incredible speed and power. Soon Kokushibo had to use more of his strength, as he clashed swords with Yozora again, he managed to push the boy back.
"I will admit, you are far stronger than i give you credit for. Not only that, you have also shown me that my breath can still evolve. The sun is close to rising, so i shall leave you with a gift."
Yozora was breathing heavily. Even though his second personality was in control, his body was already at its limit. It was a miracle he could even keep standing, let alone hold his sword. Kokusbibo swiftly dashed towards one of the scattered swords. As he picked it up, he looked at Yozora.
"Since you taught me how my breath can evolve, i suppose its only fitting to see if I can achieve the same results as you."
Yozora controlled his breathing as he knew what was going to happen next. He concentrated his entire being as he was prepared for what happened next. Yozora was in front of the direction Kokushibo was heading for. Behind Yozora was the location of where Rengoku and the others were. He only has one option.
"Bring it, Upper Moon One. I don't care what happens to me, but i'll make sure you won't hurt the people behind me!"
"Very well. Breath of the Moon, Eighteenth Form:Moon Fang Cross!!!!!"
Kokushibo swung the blade he just grabbed horizontally as a he fired a single, giant crescent slash from it and immediately swung his own sword vertically to fire a second one. The two slashes fused together forming a cross shaped blast. As the blast was getting closer to Yozora, the boy put all his strength into his muscles as he lifts his sword. Seeing this, Kokushibo instinctively jumps back without knowing why.
Just like with Chisaki, blood drips from all of his wounds, from his eyes, from his nose. In this one second, he shuts down all bodily functions. His strength, stamina, vitality, and potential....he's mustering everything that he has and pushing past his limits. As he looks at the demon before him, all of his organs, blood flow, and muscle movement were exposed to him. As Kokushibo's attack was close to him, he unleashed his own attack with all the power at his disposal as the Demon Slayer Mark is disappearing from his face and his eyes slowly turning back to their normal color.
"Breath of the Moon, Nineteenth Form:Dark-Moon........ Dimension Slash!!!!"
By channeling ki through his sword, Yozora condensed all the numerous chaos blades in his breath technique into a single slash. As he swung his blade downward, he released that single slash while he still had access to the See-Through World. As his attack collided with Kokushibo's he had one thought.
"Rengoku, Zenitsu, the boar mask kid, the demon Nezuko, and yes, even you Tanjiro Kamado. I'll protect you all with all the strength i can muster!!!!!"
