"I want you in my agency, I could really use someone like you". Delsin sighed. "Look, Ms. Takeyama, I'm not even sure what agency to even go to right now myself. I haven't even looked at my list yet! Why should I go in your agency? What do you have to offer me?". Yu frowned. "I'm one of the most famous heroes in Japan. Work under me and you'll get the spotlight any hero to be desires. It will look good if you do well with public image. This is how you start out! By being noticed".
Delsin frowned while he thought to himself. She did make an interesting point. If he were to be the most greatest hero alive, he needed to get his image out there. The Sports Festival put his foot in the door but if he showed that he hung with the higher up heroes then his image will bound to skyrocket and he get real famous. That fame will make the public trust him and he'll rise to become even greater. Delsin sighed before giving her a determined face that made Yu blush heavily. "Where do I sign?". Takeyama smiled in glee as she got her way. She let Delsin sign with a pen she also brought with her and when he finished she smiled.
"Okayyyyy, now you are officially my student for the week. Please show up at my office building at 11:00 a.m sharp for debriefing". As Yu walked away, Delsin shouted. "But may I ask something?". She turned to look at him. "Why did you want me?". Yu looked at him with a smile. "Because, you'll be a great hero and I want to help blossom that!". But what she really thought was. 'This'll look great for me. Training U.A's most promising hero since All Might, my image will skyrocket and also, it'll get me closer as to why you of all people can turn me down, Delsin Rowe'.

The next day was something else for Delsin as he already regretted going to work with Mt. Lady. He showed up on time to her office building, a.k.a her apartment, only to find her sleeping like a light. Annoyed at her audacity to have him up at this hour while she slept in, he woke her ass up with a loud clap of his hands that shook her awake. Now he was sitting in her couch as Yu was in her pajamas in the living room as she yawned. "Okay, welcome to Mt. Lady's hero agency, Rowe-san. Now let's get started on your duties here for the week".
Delsin nodded his head in excitement. He bet he was going to be training on hero work or just help her do her missions. It wouldn't be such a bad thing to do for the week as those can give him some major experience. "Okay so first, you should sweep the floor, then do the dishes from last night. I didnt eat much so there's not a lot so....oh and you can go to the laundry mat and put my clothes to wash....". Delsin looked puzzled. "I'm sorry? What?". Yu looked at him with a blank look. "Well, we have lots of down time before there are any calls are made. We're waiting, so there's some things that need to be done around the house, Rowe-san. Chop chop! Get it done! If you need me, I'll be here, reading this new clothing catalogue that just came in".
Delsin shot up from the ground. "I'm not doing your chores, Yu! That's not why I signed up for! Who do you think I am, some simp who will eagerly do your bidding?!". The heroine got up from the couch and glared at Rowe. "You signed the papers, you work for me now! If you don't do it, I'll report you to your school and you'll fail! Besides....". Yu began parted a strand of her long blonde hair behind her ear. She parted her pajama top to reveal a bit of her cleavage, which was massive and swayed her hips a little. "Don't you want to impress me?" she flirted.
John looked at it and he was drooling in Delsin's mind while Delsin himself looked at her annoyingly. "Whatever" he said as he walked off to start with the dishes, getting Yu to smile but she knew deep down he only agreed to it not because of her but because of his grades. Yu sighed as she sat on her couch. 'What the hell?! What's different with him?! Why isn't my looks working?! I don't get it! What will make you crack, Delsin Rowe?!'.
It was a few hours later that Delsin finished with the stupid chores that MT. Lady made him do before it was time to hit the streets. Since they didn't have anything better to do since Delsjn finished his chores and Yu had run out of catalogues to read through, they left to Musutafu since there was no crime that was called in as of yet. Yu decided to do a little patrol with Delsin. They were walking through the streets and everyone was looking their way as it was Mt. Lady. "Look! It's the Gigantic hero: Mt. Lady!". "Oh my God, I LOVE her!". "She's so fucking hot!". "Who's the kid though, her new boy toy?". "He looks a little young to be that though but he's cute though".
The comments from Takeyama's fans turned to Delsin as the female population began to ogle at him.
It bothered Yu for some reason so she immediately grabbed Delsin's arm and picked up the pace from the entourage. Delsin looked over to his temporary mentor for the week in confusion. "Why'd you do that? They were there for you ya know?". Yu blushed underneath her mask but spoke. "N-Never mind that! I was just really hungry so I wanted to get outta there quicker. Hey, look, a cafe! We should eat there!". Yu pointed to a shop that served lots of tea and mini cakes. Not seeing a problem with it, Delsin agreed to it, walking in with the hero. While the two walked to th cashier, Delsin ordered a small hot chocolate since he's not too big on coffee, and a chocolate muffin.
Yu ordered oolong tea with some coffee cake. The man asked for 1,500 yen, Delsin went to fork up the money but Takeyama dashed in front of him. She put her arm in between her cleavage to show how developed they were as she swayed her hips. She looked down wotha blush and spoke in a flirty way. "Oh no, I think I must've left my wallet at home? What a shame....". The man had hearts in his eyes at the hot display in front of him and shouted. "OH HELL YEAH, IT'S ON THE HOUSE BABY!". "WELL AREN'T YOU A GENTLEMAN!" she shouted back with a smile on her face while Delsin watched annoyed while John was shocked. 'Well, she's very manipulative, Delsin. That's my future wife'. 'Yeah, I can't see that happening creep'.
After waiting for the food, Delsin and Mt. Lady took a sheet in the cafe. Yu looked happy while Delsin just looked at her. "What?" she said, wondering why she was staring at her like that. Like he was.....disappointed. "That wasn't necessary". "What wasn't necessary?". Delsin glared at her. "Manipulating that man. It wasn't necessary. I was gonna pay for it. You're a hero, you're supposed to be setting an example, not exploiting your good looks and fame to get what you want!". Yu chuckled at Delsin's innocent view of hero codes. "I see..... So you wanted to pay for me, like if we're on a date, huh Delsin-kuuuunnnn?".
Instead of her desired reaction, she got the exact opposite of arousal. What she got was a look of disgust. "You are deceiving and annoying" was his answer to that which kind of hurt her. She heard these kind of remarks from her hero colleagues before and she payed them no attention. She knew that they were just jealous because she stole their spotlight and got all the fame for it but with Delsin, it was different, a kind of different that she couldn't ignore.
His look and words was even more harsh than her online haters and it hurt. It wasn't hate in his words but it was just disappointment which she really didn't like to hear, at least when it came from him. "Why?!" she shouted. "Why what?" he asked as he watched her in confusion. She stood up from her seat and shouted at him. "Why doesn't it work on you, my charm I mean?! It works on everyone else, I can get Kamui Woods into a stuttering mess but you! You're just a high school brat who should be pudding in my hands when I even bat an eye at you! Yet, you stand tall and angered with me. How?!".
She peeled off her mask and stared at him with her beautiful face and her purple eyes filled with slight frustration. "What is so different about you?! Why can't I get you to even blush at me! Is it because you think I'm ugly?! Or am I too skinny or is it because I'm fat?! Or blonde?! Tell me, Delsin Rowe! What is it about me that you don't like?!". Delsin watched the woman in front of her. She was so angry that she pulled off her entire mask in public to show her frustration towards him. Thank God her back was to the public so they really couldn't see her face. He looked at her in her crystal purple eyes with his dark brown ones and sighed.
"Do you really believe that I think you are all of those things?" was his response, which only infuriated her. "Well a woman can only wonder?!" she answered as it was eating at her since the moment she met him at the Sports Festival. "Why does my opinion matter to you? Like you said, I'm just a high school brat, there are a billion of them around the world, I'm no different than any of them. Why does my thoughts matter to such a big time hero like yourself?". Yu only just blushed as she really thought about it. Why did it matter to her?
As the thoughts were processing through her mind, the waiter was here. Delsin used his neon to sprint to Yu and put her mask back on so she could hide her identity and sit her back down. "You're food is ready!". "Thank you!" Delsin smiled which made Takeyama blush as she thought to herself. 'His smile is gorgeous...'. She wanted to see that smile again but this time, to be directed at her. She watched as Delsin began to dig in to his muffin while Yu just watched him. Why was she so infatuated with getting Rowe's attention? She never wanted someone to look at her so badly before. She had boyfriends, tons of them as her fame had gotten them to fly to her like moths to flame.
They were good looking, her age, all heroes and all yeah but they lacked something that Rowe had. They were just....boring. All of them had just boring personalities, boring lifestyles, boring quirks. Another thing was that they were all afraid to defy her and tell her no. Delsin wasn't afraid to get in he's face and argue, even if he would lose in the end. It brought something new to her than all those dull relationships she's had due to public images and hierarchy. So she can say that her relationship with Delsjn was something new and refreshing to her, something that she didn't want to let go for a long while.
So when he says something like that to her, it hurts because in a way, she does value Rowe's opinions of her. She values them because he's not like everyone else and she can see that. "So back to that, why do I matter to you, we just met each other. I'm a high school student and you're.... Well, you! What does it matter what I say?". Yu looked at him with a blush that wasn't fake, it was real. "W-Well I... Guess I value your opinion of me above all else is all....". Delsin watched as he had the remaining muffin in his mouth as he spoke with a muffle. "You're not serious, are you?".
Takeyama frowned as she glared at him, the blush still active. "I'm not lying to you. I can't control the way I feel. It is what it is! I guess I sorta....semi....maybe...alternatively... L-Like you, Rowe-san". 'YES! WE HIT THE BIG TIME BABY! WE TAKING HER HOME, DEL! WE'RE TAKING THIS FINE SPECIMEN HOME!' John commented. Ignoring the entity, Delsin kept listen to her. "Oh God, this is crazy! Me, falling for a kid. This'll look great on the cover of a magazine. 'Mt. Lady..... Cradle robbing?!?!' that's fantastic! If we were to date. Then the population will be over you more than me and we'll probably be the hottest couple of Japan for a while and-". "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold up! Who said we're dating?" Delsin cut her off.
"W-What?! I mean, I pretty much confessed to you! Are you gonna turn me down?! What's wrong with me then?". Delsin sighed as he then realized that Mt. Lady had some serious insecurity issues that showed louder than mega horn. If a person didn't find her attractive, she would pretty much malfunction. So he had to break it to her. "Well, okay. I didn't explain to you how I felt about you, right?". Takeyama nodded her head. "Well, I don't find you ugly, in fact, I find you the most gorgeous person I've ever seen in my life. Your insanely beautiful!". That made Mt. Lady blush heavily. "Your not fat, you have a body that woman strive towards. It's killer. Its no wonder why people go braindead when they see you walk into a room".
Yu's blush kept growing as she felt genuinely happy. With Delsin, his words felt absolutely genuine. It wasn't just flirty and lust driven, but just off the top of his head and true in his eyes. "But what turns me off is how you use it". That made her stop blushing. "huh?". "You flaunt it. Use it to do your bidding and get you whatever it is you want. It's not right. I'm not trying to body shame or none of that, but people look up to you. Women want to be you. You're literally showing them that if you look good, you can get anything you want, which isn't true. I can sit here and just look at you as you give me yourself and I'll still tell you no".
"I'll tell you no Because I don't know you. All I know is, you're gorgeous and you you use your body to its fullest potential but I don't know Mt Lady, I don't know Yu Takeyama. And it sucks. It sucks because, I know that between how you get along with your fellow colleagues, you seem to be a chill person and down to earth if I got to know you. I don't want a fling for the public, I don't want to be known as Mt. Lady's boy toy of the week. It's not what I want and it's was never what I was after". Mt. Lady looked at Delsin in awe and shock, processing what she heard from him. His reason for not reacting to her advances were because he didn't want her for her beauty but wanted to know her for her personality and since he doesn't know that yet, he doesn't want to take it to the next level.
It only put Rowe in a new light for her as none of her other flings really cared to get to know her on a personal level like that. It only sparked her flame into getting Rowe. Delsin stood up. "I think I'll head home for the day, the city seems to have no crime in it lately so we're good right?". Yu looked a little saddened that he was about to leave but she couldn't find the words to make him stay. He was right. They didn't know a thing about one another. "Y-Yeah, I guess, see ya around". She said as Delsin waved her goodbye.
The following days at Yu's apartment was awkward as the two rarely spoke with one another after the day in the cafe. It was awkward as Rowe wanted to say something to her but she was too busy brushing him off to talk to him so he settled for the professional talk. They would focus on the patrols of the city and discussing some of the important works of heroes and their duties to society which Delsin soaked up like a sponge. It only showed Delsin that besides her looks, Yu was full of knowledge that was quite attractive to him.
It was now the end of the week which meant the end of his placement and Delsin had left to go home, leaving Takeyama by herself in her apartment. She was a little down though as she never really got to convince Delsin of her feelings towards him but it was probably for the best, seeing as how she was 8 years older than him it just wasn't meant to be. It didn't mean that she couldn't be a little sad about it though as she thought they had a fighting chance but even then, she still didn't open up to him like he wanted her too which only hindered the possibility.
"Well, Yu. You messed up again. Well, not like me messing up is anything new" she said with a small tear running down her face before she wiped it and got over herself. She was Mt. fucking Lady, she can have anyone she wanted with a snap of her fingers. "But will they be like Delsin-kun though? Highly doubt it....". She sighed as she just removed her clothes to put on her pj's for the night as it was getting pretty late. She moved to her bedroom but she felt a disturbance of some sort.
She didn't know why but she felt off, like someone was watching her with malicious intent. She moved to her windows quickly to look through them. It made no sense, she was on the 19th floor, no one had a clear view unless they had binoculars and was from an neighbouring building on the same level. She sighed as she closed the curtain but when she turned around, he saw the most horrifying sight of her life. In front of her was a tall lanky man that was scrunched up on the toes of his feet on a table as he watched her with demonic red eyes and a long tongue. He had on a red blindfold with slits in them so he can see. He sheathed his two long blades. "Yu Takeyama or should I say, Mt. Lady?".
The woman was stunned as he spoke her name with such hate. "W-Who the hell are you?! How'd you get in here?!". The man licked the blade as he watched her. "It matters not how I got in here, further more, it doesn't matter who I am but I'll tell you the latter as I'm quite the famous one. I've been known to killing dozens of heroes, figuratively and literally....". Takeyama widening her eyes. "You're the H-Hero Killer!". "Bingo, and I'm here for you! I've chosen to attack you in here seeing as I don't stand a chance in a normal setting. You won't use your quirk in an apartment seeing as you'll create a lot of casualties. I just have to keep you in this room".
Yu grew worried. He was absolutely right. The right times to strike her were when she was in closed spaces with a lot of civilians close to her proximity. In this case, an apartment complex. Those who were above and below where as well as beside her own home would be drawn into a dangerous situation. So she couldn't use her quirk. She could only run to the window and jump out to activate her quirk, which she tried doing but she only couldn't as she felt a blade stab her shoulder. Then she fell to the ground, her body paralyzed. "W-What?!" she said, scared beyond belief.
Stain smiled. "Like it? It's my quirk, by tasting your blood, I can paralyze you. No one is here to help you. You're going to die!". Takeyama looked at Stain with fear, tears rolling down her face. "Please don't do this! Please, I'm begging you! Why?! Why are you doing this?!". Stain looked at her with a glare, his eyes glowing red with rage. "Why?! WHY?! That's simple to explain really. You're a fake hero! A hero who exploits her name and fame and we'll as her looks to get what she wishes off of her admirers, the people that look up to you! You disgust the very name of heroes and that is why I'll will be taking your life and to show the world a true hero!".
Stain raised his sword above Yu while she looked at the blade, she only thought of the words that flowed outta Rowe's mouth. 'You're a hero, you're supposed to be setting an example, not exploiting your good looks and fame to get what you want!'. '...... people look up to you. Women want to be you. You're literally showing them that if you look good, you can get anything you want, which isn't true'. Yu took her last breath as she saw the blade come down on her. 'I wish I just took those words to heart sooner, Delsin-kun. If only....I had the time, I'd show you. I'd show you that I really do want to get to know you and you get to know me too. That I really can change...'.
Her eyes began to close as the blade neared her but she heard the sound of a blade meeting flesh and she flinched thinking it was her but she did not feel pain that would usually follow. She opened her eyes to see Delsin above her, staring at her. "Delsin-kun?" she said in shock. "You are soooooo lucky I came back for my chain I left behind". "But wha....". She stopped talking when she felt the blood drip down her face as she saw that Stan's blade was sticking out of his chest. "Oh my God, Delsin, no!" She cried out to him. If only she could move.
Delsin smiled at her. "You don't need to worry, I'm fine! I heal reaaaalllllyyyyy fast! This shit won't slow me down!". He began to turn around to see Stain standing there completely shocked. What the hell was this kid. "Don't you even think of laying your filthy disgusting hands on her!". That knocked him out of his shocked as he glared at the boy. "Listen here, kid. You may think you're playing hero here but you're only going to get yourself killed by interfering with my work. The woman behind you is nothing but a manipulative hero who uses her status to get what she wants. She doesn't care about being a hero, only what the status brings her. She's a nuisance to the hero society!".
Delsin glared at him." And you are?! So instead of being a Jehovah witness for true heroes, you go and start killing people because in your eyes they're unworthy of the name hero? If I'm wrong, you're worse than she can ever be. I'll put you in the dirt if you touch her!". Delsin pulled out the bloody blade he had before he threw it to the ground. Stain watched him with killing intent. "I guess you'll just have to die too, shame, you had potential".
John was listening to all this and spoke to Delsin. 'Oh hell no! Delsin, Use 20% of Bestia Mode and knock this dude out cold. I'm over him already!'. 'Me too!'. As soon as Stain charged at him, Delain activated his Laser Focus to slow down Stain's movement. He dodged a slice to the neck and went for a 20% uppercut to the chin that sent him flying up to the all the floors and too the roof. He waited for sometine before the hero killer landed on the ground with bruises all over his body but he was still semi conscious. Delsin moved quick as he punched him back down and wrapped him into neon string, tying him up for the cops.
He moved to Yu, who was still paralyzed on the ground and held her in his arms. "Yu, are you okay?". "The idea of being a great hero is to stop the threat without causing so much damage, ya know". Delsin laughed as he eyed the ceiling. "Yeah..... My fault in that one, hehehe! Wanted to end that one quickly". Takeyama just laughed as she eyes Stain who finally drifted into unconsciousness. "Yeah I can see that. Thank you, Delsin-kun". "No problem, anything for my mentor". "Delsin-kun?". "Hmmm?". "My favorite food is dango. I hate anything that has too much spices in it. I also don't like Rom-coms, all of them are predictable. The girl doesn't like the guy when they first meet but as time goes in, she grows attached to him but then the dude has a girlfriend already but also likes the other girl so he has to make up his mind until he finally choses the girl he just met and all that nonsense. It's boring-". "What are you doing, Yu?".
Takeyama sighed with a blush. "You said you wanted to get to know me, well, I'm telling you some of my likes and dislikes. I.... I want to start something with you, Delsin. I really do like you and I want to get to know you too. Please, give me a chance? Give me the chance to show you Yu Takeyama!". Delsin looked at her and smiled. "I.... hate Adam Sandler movies" he said. Yu widened her eyes before she smiled. "That's weird because I love them!". "Why? They're so cliché!". "They're cute and funny!". "They're boring and predictable for me, it's just not fun that damn near all his movies, he plays a fuck up dad or fuck up boyfriend untill he makes it right type thing like what the hell".
Yu sighed. "I guess so! I also don't like cliché story endings!". Delsin sweat dropped. "That kinda seems like now don't you think?". "What, naw! This is different! We're totally different from the other stories!". "If you say so...but I highly doubt it!". 'Jesus Christ, are you gonna bone her already?!'. 'Shut up John!'.
