Third Person's POV
"Chanyeol??" Choimin calls out for the fifth time as she knocked on Chanyeol's door. But still, there isn't any response. "Are these walls soundproof or something?" she thought to herself, as she decided to let herself in. But apparently, Chanyeol wasn't where she expected him to be all along.
She closed the door behind her as her eyes searched the room for Chanyeol. Her motions stopped for a second upon sighting him outside, at the veranda.
Choimin sighs as she took a step out to where Chanyeol was, making the latter turn to her in surprise.
The girl smiled, knowing the possible reason of why she found the guy out here. "Hey," she spoke softly, "I apologize for barging in without permission. But I have been outside for a minute now, so..."
"Sorry for that," Chanyeol utters back, then turning back to his original position - leaning his front over the rails with the support of his elbows. His eyes darting out into the calm ocean, glistening from the light provided by the moon.
Choimin went beside him and leaned against the rails with her back, unlike Chanyeol. She folded her arms across her chest as she turned her head to Chanyeol, taking in the unreadable expression on his face.
She sighs then proceeds to speak again, "You aren't even going to ask me why I am here??"
Chanyeol's eyes widened as he turned to a smirking Choimin. The tone of her voice lets him know that there's something more about to come. "W-Well, uh---"
"Don't bother." Choimin smirks, levelling her palm to his face for a few seconds. "You know it yourself, Chanyeol... To force your own feelings is something quite impossible to do. Moving on is a natural process anyway."
"O-Of course I know that.. I experienced it from you," Chanyeol responds, nearly mumbling out his words. "I am well aware of that, still I don't know what to do exactly."
"I strongly believe that there is no wrong move," Choimin replies, "But I guess for your situation, it's because you keep searching for ways to move on without any 'interruptions' - like, getting interrupted by the constant feelings and thoughts that you try to get rid of. Which is I guess the reason why you keep on avoiding Jihyun despite contradicting your 'second plan.'"
Chanyeol inhales sharply, trying to keep himself composed despite Choimin hitting all these facts at just one go. "S-Slow down, Choimin..." he winces with a sort of pained look on his face.
The latter chuckled at this as she shook her head. "You know... I came here all the way from America, still holding on to the feelings I had for you, hoping that yours never changed as well even though it felt like something so impossible. I already have an idea of the reality, but still did it anyway - came back here saying that I still love you."
Chanyeol's look darkens slightly as he thought that Choimin may still have these feelings, but he's stepping on them as he constantly vented his frustrations of his own feelings for someone else for her.
The girl turns to take a peek at Chanyeol's face and instantly drops the smile she had on her face. "Idiot," she spat, smacking Chanyeol by the shoulder. "Don't start feeling so sorry or something, it is not your fault."
"I couldn't help it," Chanyeol sighs.
Choimin sighed back, turning away as she let the next words past her mouth. "I... I already moved on anyway."
"T-That quick??" Chanyeol gawks at her.
"What do you mean 'that quick'?" Choimin questions with a scowl, "Are you hoping that it took longer??"
"N-No! I mean - how??"
"Ah," Choimin mutters, "I don't know. Space is necessary, you know that since I asked for it. But it didn't take me too long because the time I had, I used it to one by one let go of everything. Now I am not going to dive in the details of how I did, unless you'd like to know??"
Chanyeol shook his head. Choimin nods and continued, "I don't think it would actually be accurate, but I'd like to compare my situation to yours... Chanyeol... Out of all the time you had your space... What constantly occupied your mind?? Did you even try for once let go?? No, I am not talking about being aware of the fact that you need to let go, but actually doing it - even in your own ways."
"I... I don't really know..." Chanyeol muttered. "I don't know... I don't know how to let go..."
"There it is," Choimin thought to herself, reaching a hand out and placed it gently atop his shoulder - a subtle way she'd like to comfort people.
"I-I know I need to let go... But it's just that... I always think if I could even do so?? I doubt myself... And there are times I couldn't help but think how things could also turn out as well... I couldn't help but think about the fact that she does have feelings for me too, and what could have happened if I had enough courage to still fight for it."
Choimin warily looked at Chanyeol and was taken aback by seeing the tears welling in his eyes. "Everytime I see Jihyun, I could not help but wish that things would go back to normal again. I... miss her - if that even makes sense of course. I want to talk to her the way I always used to before, hang out with her again and see another genuine smile from her. If only I was able to stop myself that night... Things could have been better."

"Jihyun! Are you ready??" Baekhyun asks from outside the closet where Jihyun was currently at.
The latter opens the door, confirming that she was. Jihyun wore a pastel pink buttoned up long sleeve top, tucked in her white pencil skirt that was decorated by roses at the hem. "Are they already downstairs??"
Baekhyun nods, still at a current state of awe as he tried to take in the beauty right in front of him. "Chanyeol just texted me. Let's go now??" he replied and Jihyun nodded.
The two exited their hotel room, making sure it was locked before heading to the elevator and headed to the dining area of the hotel. There weren't as much people they anticipated, the rest probably brought their foods to their own rooms or just had or would be having dinner later.
Hence, it didn't take too long for the two to find their friends.
Choimin, upon spotting Jihyun and Baekhyun immediately raised her hand up to catch their attention. The couple made their way to their table and sat opposite to Chanyeol and Choimin.
The four instantly decided the meals they would order and had them done.
"Jihyun, I am deciding on shopping for my clothes the night after our last practice for the party. Would you like to come with me??" Choimin asks.
Jihyun turns to her and nodded her head. "Sure thing."
"How about you boys?? Are your suits already prepared?" Choimin proceeded to ask the other two they were with.
"Mom's going to be taking care of it," Baekhyun answers. "I heard Chanyeol would be getting his own design done from Yura noona's husband."
With wide eyes, Choimin turns to Chanyeol. "Really??" she confirms, and Chanyeol nodded. "That would be bomb."
"Any plans for tomorrow, you two??" Baekhyun asked.
JIhyun sighed inwardly. She did hope that it would never come up, but she also knew that it would be near to impossible too.
Choimin turns to Chanyeol for a few seconds, but it was enough to already know what the guy would prefer. Added by the eyes the latter had as she looked at him.
Choimin sighs silently, before answering. "Wouldn't you two want to have a day for yourselves for a whole day, though??"
Chanyeol and Jihyun felt relief wash over them.
The latter turned to see Baekhyun's reaction who just had a thoughtful expression on, before getting covered by a teasing smirk. "Just tell me if you'd like to have Chanyeol for yourself, Choimin," he teased, leaning back onto his seat.
Choimin's eyes widened and an evident blush rose up on her cheeks. "U-Uh... T-That's not it of course---"
"I'd like to have her all by myself tomorrow though."
The fall fell silent upon hearing Chanyeol's words, even the latter himself was unable to speak further.
Choimin looked at him, with eyes wider than saucers, same as Baekhyun who had more of a cheerful look on his face though.
But when Chanyeol's eyes landed on Jihyun, boy did he feel his heart tore in pieces.
The look on her eyes were enough to tell him how much of a wrong move that was. She looked confused and broken. Her eyes seems to seek for answer in Chanyeol's own ones.
And indeed, Jihyun was seeking for answers. Is it true what he just said?? Does that mean there is something going on between him and Choimin just as they expected all along??
But she looked down and gripped the hem of her skirt tightly, laughing at herself in her mind. What would she expect? Choimin was his first love first and foremost.
"Ha... Is that so, Chanyeol??" Baekhyun asks, breaking the silence. Tease was evident by the tone of his voice but Chanyeol did not falter. "Tell me... Is there something going on between you and Choimin??"
"That's up to what you're thinking, hyung," Chanyeol answers straightaway.
Choimin immediately grabbed the glass of water right in front of her and chugged it down, deeply cursing the fact that she did not even hold Chanyeol back from saying anything further.
"Just wait 'til I talk to you, Park," she thought to herself, the grip on the glass she had in her hand not easing even a single bit.
Jihyun turns to Chanyeol, who looked back at her too. The latter's eyes widened upon seeing how the emotions evident in her eyes changed.
The look she had in her eyes was almost the same from all the times she seethed him. Then she looked away, a cold expression on her face.
Chanyeol sighed inwardly, gulping in attempt to ease the lump forming in his throat. "What in the world did I just do?" he thought to himself.

Greetings, Motis! Before everything else I would like to apologize for being gone for a month long.
In the middle of writing the next chapter we experienced the same problem with our internet and I couldn't really use anything that relies on it well. I tried to update the chapters but failed.
So I decided to continue writing and ended up with four chapters! I will have them posted in an instant as well.
Please pardon me for making you all wait. I really am sorry.
