the plum haired girl yawned as she waited to board the bus.
"lu..."
"i did, amari.." her digimon partner muttered, looking up at her tamer. "i tried to wake you up twice. you pushed me off the bed." she informed. the young girl groaned tiredly. "not use to waking up early?" a voice asked, grabbing the dark skinned girl's attention. she shook her head. "no..." she said sleepily. she blinked and looked up at her classmate. "any word on takato?" she asked. the blue haired boy blinked and looked back. "good question." he said. "my question is how is he gonna sneak guilmon on the bus." he pondered. his partner on his back shrugged. "if guilmon keeps eating the way he's eating, he might not even fit." he snickered. henry shook his head as he saw the brown haired boy ran into frame. "there he is." he smiled. the plum haired girl grumbled a bit before turning her head. she rubbed her eyes a bit as she saw a familiar red digimon hidden behind takato's classmates.
"ah..." she muttered, looking over at the brown haired boy. "that's his plan." she said, watching the boy talk to his teacher while his classmates boarded the bus with guilmon. "he's clever." henry said. terriermon shook his head. "and she's easily distracted." he said, earning a high five from amari. "hey, be a nice stuffed animal." his tamer warned. with that, both henry and amari boarded the bus with their digimon.
"hey!" the rabbit digimon exclaimed, pointing. the blue haired boy looked down at his partner. "what is it?" he asked. lunamon looked up at henry. "calumon's here!" she chirped. the plum haired girl looked up and saw a familiar white and purple digimon. the cute digimon spotted the two tamers and waved at them.
"i saved you some seats!" he whispered-yelled happily. the plum haired girl moved without hesitation to the seats. "let's hope he doesn't cause any trouble." the blue haired boy said, following the plum haired girl.

after the long bus ride, the school finally arrived at the campsite.
amari sipped the last little bit of her water before she placed her thermos down. she grabbed her bag and grabbed her container of jewelry supplies.
"terriermon, slow down." she heard her digimon partner say. "you might get a stomachache."
"she's right." his tamers smirked. "if not, i might have to make a call to nurse suzie." he snickered. the rabbit digimon swallowed his food, suppressing a cough. the blue haired boy looked down at his digimon, immediately pouring some tea into the cap of his thermos. "i was kidding, buddy." he said, handing him the cap.

"wait, kazu? being nice?" she asked, walking in front of the two boys on the bridge. "you sure that you weren't in an alternate reality where he was nice?" she asked. the brown haired boy nodded. "i thought the same thing." he stated. "i swear i had to make sure that he said the right thing." he finished. the blue haired boy shook his head at the two other tamers. "still, that was nice of kazu." he stated. takato looked back at henry. "yeah, kazu being nice for a change." he said. the dark skinned girl watched as lunamon played with guilmon, calumon, and terriermon. she blinked, remembering the pieces of jewelry in her pocket.
"oh right!" she exclaimed, reaching into her pants pocket. the four digimon looked up at her. "what is it, amari?" terriermon asked, running to her. the plum haired girl smiled, kneeling down to him. "i made some things for you guys during lunch." she informed, revealing the array of jewelry in her hand. " you don't have to wear them if you don't want to." she said. "i just wanted to show you all my gratitude for everything." she smiled, grabbing the small anklet. she froze, hearing a loud squawk.
"loud..." she mumbled, looking up at the sky. amari felt a tug on her over-sized hoodie. she looked down and saw calumon. "what's wrong?" he asked, tilting his head. the plum haired girl shook her head. "nothing, bud." she said, giving the digimon a small smile. "here's a small anklet for you, calumon." she said, grabbing the tiny chain anklet. "each of the charms and crystals have a meaning to them." she informed, placing the piece of jewelry on his ankle. "with yours, i put a pink tourmaline, which alleviates emotional stress and promotes kindness and peace." she smiled. the cute digimon smiled, pouncing on top of amari's head. the young girl chuckled, reaching for the next piece of jewelry.
"here terriermon." she said, grabbing a small chain bracelet. the small digimon held out an arm for the plum haired girl to place the bracelet around his wrist. "for your bracelet, there's a rabbit charm and a rainforest jasper crystal." she informed. "when making yours, i thought of speed and joy of life." she stated. "rabbits are known for speed and the rainforest jasper represents joy of life." she informed, smiling at the rabbit digimon. the rabbit digimon smiled at his bracelets. "thanks amari!" he said happily.
"guilmon, i made a necklace for you." amari said. the red dragon digimon walked over to her, leaning down. "since i had an old ring with an amber in it, i used it." she smiled, clasping the necklace around him. "amber are known for carrying the energy of the sun." she informed. "not gonna lie, i thought of your attacks with the necklace." she chuckled nervously. " sorry yours don't have much of a meaning." she apologized. guilmon shook his head. "it's fine." he smiled. the young girl smiled up at the red digimon. the cute digimon looked at amari's digimon partner.
"what about lunamon?" he asked. "where's her's?"
"it's in my bag." the plum haired girl said. "she gave it to me so she wouldn't lose it." she informed. "like terriermon's, her's has rabbit charms, a moonstone gem, and little star charms on her's." she stated. "moonstones assists with finding hidden truths in one's past life while the stars represents courage and purity." she informed. the brown haired boy was astounded by her knowledge of crystals and charms. "you sure do know a lot about crystals and stuff." he said. the plum haired girl blinked and looked back at the two boys behind her.
"i guess.." she said shyly, standing up. she scratched the back of her neck. "w-we should head back." she said, walking from the group.

the plum haired girl yawned as she watched her friends swam in the end of the river. "mari, just how bad is your sleep schedule?" the brown haired boy, catching the girl's attention. the dark skinned girl shrugged her shoulders. "it's normally not bad." she stated, rubbing her neck. "my tent mates snore, so they kept me up majority of the night." she said. the blue haired boy cringed. "yikes.. i feel bad." he said. amari shrugged, looking down at the river. "its fine." she muttered, watching lunamon play with the other digimon. "this was the best idea we had yet." she smiled, looking over at the boys. the brown haired boy looked over at amari and nodded.
"you can say that again." he said, looking down at the digimon. "we deserve this break." he finished. the plum haired girl nodded, watching the digimon rise up from the water. "how's the water, lu?" she asked her digimon partner. "it feels great!" she chirped, looking up at her tamer. the red dinosaur digimon nodded. "can we come here again?" he asked his brown haired tamer. takato chuckled, shaking his head. before he could even say something, a voice snickered.
"can we come here again?" the voice mocked, causing amari to scowl. "impmon..." she muttered, feeling a headache coming on.
"look at you, beggin like a dog." the purple digimon said, staring at the digimon. "you don't need their permission to do anything!" he exclaimed. the four digimon in the water blinked and looked at the imp digimon. "hey, it's impmon." they said simultaneously. the three tamers groaned.
"you so-called tamers keep your digimon on a real short leash, don't ya." he stated, green eyes wandering over to the three kids. "tellin them what they can do and who they can do it with." he informed, gagging. "it's enough to make me sick." he said. the plum haired girl scoffed, catching the digimon's attention. "got something to say, short stack?" he huffed. the dark skinned girl rolled her golden brown eyes. "not really, no." she lied, plopping down on the grass. "just this, we let them do what they want." she said. the boys nodded.
"she's right." they said simultaneously. "as long as they don't get into trouble." the brown haired boy stated. "and we don't tell them who to play with." the blue haired boy informed. the purple digimon huffed and hopped on the tree branch. "well, why didn't you invite me to play?!" he exclaimed. the plum haired girl blinked, sitting back up.
"were you jealous?" she asked tilting her head. the purple digimon felt his face heat up. "a-as if!" he stammered. the brown haired boy chuckled. "you can come play with us, if you want!" he exclaimed. the purple digimon crossed his arms over his chest. "i don't wanna play with you guys." he pouted. "i don't know where you got the idea from." he continued rambling. the moon inspired digimon rolled her pink eyes and opened her mouth, letting out bubbles and sending them his way. the purple digimon watched as several of them popped in his face.
"just play with us, dummy!" the white digimon laughed. the three other digimon laughed and splashed about in the water. "yeah come play with us!" guilmon exclaimed gleefully. impmon slowly turned his head to look at the digimon. "well, if i have to..." he said, diving into the water. amari watched as the small purple digimon began to swim after the four other digimon. "such a weird little guy." takato said, smiling. "if he wanted to play, why didn't he say so in the first place?" he wondered. the blue haired boy chuckled. "i guess some digimon can't be honest about their feelings." he answered. the plum haired girl felt an ominous presence near by.
"i don't like that..." she muttered quickly, head quickly turning at the sound of the digimon screaming. "what happened, terrriermon?!" henry asked his partner. the rabbit digimon slowly turned his head towards his tamer. "careful guys!" he exclaimed. "there's a digimon over there!" he said, pointing. amari's golden brown eyes wandered over in the direction.
"it's the digimon we saw yesterday!" the brown haired boy exclaimed. amari blinked and looked back at the boys. "you guys saw that thing?!" she exclaimed, looking back over at the big bird digimon. "where was i?!" she asked. henry looked over at her. "this was when we asked you if you wanted to sneak back out last night." he informed. "you said you were tired and wanted to rest." he iterated, looking back at the digimon. "but my question is how did it get so big?" he wondered. the plum haired girl sighed, pulling out her digivice.
"let's see who this big bird is." she said. she tilted her head. "i'm not getting a read on him?" she pondered, looking up at the new digimon. she watched as the screen went from a faint gray to a bright blue. "must be a signal thing." she muttered, watching the analyzer pop up. "sinduramon, ultimate level. yikes." she cringed, looking back up at her digimon.
"lu, don't."
"guilmon, wait!"
"you too, terriermon. don't attack!"
"the deva has arrived!" a voice exclaimed. the plum haired girl blinked, looking up. "an owl!" she exclaimed. the boys looked up at the owl with confusion in their eyes. "hail to to deva! he who drinks the light of the man and expands himself to look like a bright big chicken!" the owl exclaimed.
"he who drinks the light of man?" henry repeated
"bright big chicken?" takato repeated.
amari frowned and watched the owl speak.
"yes, the mighty chicken who avenges us!" he exclaimed. takato furrowed his eyebrows. " chicken avengence? is that like kung pao chicken?" he asked. henry shook his hand. "who wants to be ruled by a digital chicken?" he asked. "because he is the deva!" the owl exclaimed. the blue haired boy shrugged. "well, can't argue with that." he said. the dark skinned flinched when she heard a loud squawk.
"the squawking from yesterday!" she exclaimed, watching sinduramon beginning to fly off. the two boys watched as their digimon ran after the bird deva.
"wait!" takato exclaimed. the blue haired boy boy nodded. "you're on vacation!" he exclaimed."

"can we just pluck it's feathers or something?"

amari watched as kazu and kenta talked to takato from outside their tent. she closed her eyes, replaying the words the owl told them.
"light of man..." she muttered quietly. "what could that mean..." she muttered. "something man made?" she pondered, opening her eyes watching henry run over. "ms. nami told us there was blackouts all over tokyo last night." the green haired boy informed. "do you think that digimon had something to do with that?" he wondered, watching the brown haired boy walk out of the the tent. the young girl's eyes widened.
"light of man!" she blurted, catching everyone's attention. "something man-made: electricity." she said. "you said it was smaller last night, right henry?" she asked. the blue haired boy nodded. the plum haired girl smirked. "soooo, electricity plus bird equals big bird digimon." she said, turning her back to the boys.
"we gotta jet and fast."

amari watched as henry looked at the sign in front of them. "but henry." the brown haired boy said, catching his attention. " how do you know where guilmon, terriermon, and lunamon went?" he asked. the plum haired girl blinked as she saw a bus. "ride's here, boss." she said.
"elementary, my dear takato." the blue haired boy said, pointing at the incoming automobile. "just follow the sign!"

the plum haired girl looked out the window. "my guess is that they're headed towards the dam." she heard henry say. "and you know what's there, right?" he asked. the brown haired boy tilted his head. "yeah...the hydro-electric plant." he stated. "so?" he asked. amari looked back at the boys. "remember my simple equation from early?" she asked. "electricity plus bird equals big bird digimon." she reiterated. the brown haired boy's eyes widened. "if it eats up all the electricity, then it will become a bright big chicken!" he exclaimed. the dark skinned girl nodded. "bingo." she said. "and not only that, it can cause some serious damage." the blue haired boy said, looking down.
" i can't believe I just ignored it." he said. "now if it goes on a rampage through tokyo, the damage will be my fault." he said, frowning. the brown haired boy shook his head. "oh no." he said, catching the blue haired boy's attention. " it's just as much my fault as much yours." he said. "we're in this together henry." he stated. the plum haired girl nodded.
"we're a team, henry!" she smiled. "no need in beating yourself up when we had a something to do with it." she stated. the blue haired boy nodded and smiled at his friends. "thanks guys." he said. the plum haired girl looked up and gasped.
"look!" she exclaimed. the boys looked up. "that sure does looks like guilmon's work." the brown haired boy said, watching the fight from a distance.

amari watched as lunamon fell on top of guilmon. "lu!" she exclaimed. the brown haired boy gasped.
"that chicken deep fried them!" he exclaimed. the blue haired boy looked over to his friends. "they got to stop sinduramon!" he exclaimed. the plum haired girl looked over at lunamon.
"lu, rise and shine"
"terriermon, get up!"
"guilmon, up and at 'em!"
the three digimon groaned as their eyes opened.
"takato!"
"mari!"
"took you guys long enough!" terriermon said. the cute white digimon smiled at the tamers and their digimon.
"you ready, guilmon?" the brown haired boy asked his partner. the red dragon digimon nodded. the blue haired boy looked at terriermon.
"you, terriermon?"
"i'm just waiting on you!"
"ready to rock, lu?"
"ready when you are!"
"digi-modify!" the three tamers exclaimed, slashing the card through their digivices. "digivolution, activate!"
"guilmon digivolve to...growlmon!"
"terriermon digivolve to...gargomon!"
"lunamon digivolve to...lekismon!"
the gun bunny aimed a gatling gun at the incoming sinduramon. "take this, gargo laser!" he exclaimed, shooting tiny laser beams at him, only for them to not have any effect. "oh come on!" he whined. the red dragon digimon hopped in from of him and grabbed sinduramon. sinduramon growled, beginning to light up.
"positron pulse!" he exclaimed, unleashing an electric blast. the tamers watched as growlmon kneeled down from the intense shock. the big bird digimon chuckled menacingly and dove back down to growlmon.
"lekismon!"
"tear arrow!" the rabbit digimon exclaimed, reaching into her back and grabbing an arrow, aiming it at sinduramon. the bird digimon screamed in pain. "gargomon!" she exclaimed, watching the other rabbit digimon charging up.
"gargo laser!" he exclaimed, uppercutting sinduramon with the laser beam pellets. takato looked at his partner. "now, growlmon!" he exclaimed. the red dragon digimon looked up, hopping into the air. he managed to get behind the bird digimon, opening his mouth in the process. "pyro blaster!" he exclaimed, shooting a fire ball at sinduramon. everyone watched as the digimon fell into the water. "nice shot!" the brown haired boy praised his digimon. the blue haired boy nodded. "i'll say!" he exclaimed. amari watched as siduramon began to short circuit and turn into data.
