"Omg Kai! Where were you!? I was so worried! Do you know what time it is!?". Jungkook cupped Huening Kai's face gently and examined him as if he was his worried and crazy mother. "I'm fine Hyung. I was with Soobin. I didn't realize it was so late when I left". Huening Kai grabbed his wrists, taking his hands from his face. He wore a soft but upset expression. Jungkook smiled sadly and then pulled him into a tight hug. He buried his nose into his neck, staying quiet. Huening Kai eventually hugged back, gripping Jungkook's shirt tightly as he began to cry softly into his shoulder. As much as he wanted to be mad at his Hyung, he couldn't. He just couldn't stay mad because he knew that he would regret it if they separated on such bad terms. Jungkook caressed Huening Kai's head gently, cooeing at him softly. "I-I'm sorry H-hyung!". The younger cried out into his chest. "It's okay Kai. I know you're hurting. You don't need be sorry". The older said, pulling away and wiping the younger's tears away. "Go to bed okay? It's late". Jungkook leaned forward and kissed Huening Kai on his forehead, smiling softly. Huening Kai sniffled and then nodded. He gave his Hyung a kiss on the cheek, saying goodnight and then going up to his room. He threw everything onto the floor and just slipped his pants off since he didn't feel like doing anything. He then plopped onto his bed, still on the verge of crying. He grabbed his molang from the floor and then buried his face into it, sobbing. He continued to cry and scream into the plushie, wanting to just stay like that forever if it meant he didn't have to face anyone or anything. He cried for what it seemed like hours to him and he wasn't wrong. He cried for at least 2 hours. Huening Kai sniffled over and over, wiping all his tears away so he could get himself together. He sighed softly before deciding to call Yeonjun.

Huening Kai waited patiently for him to answer as he hugged his molang tightly and tried to calm himself down.
"Ningning? Why are you calling so late?".
"I just......I....-".
"Were you just crying? Are you okay?". Yeonjun then interrupted, sounding concerned. Huening Kai nervously stared at the wall before speaking.
"I've been having a bad night Hyungie.......I just really need some comfort or just a talk to calm me down and let me sleep. So I thought to call you since you said I could always come to you".
"Ne, of course. I can do that. You can talk whenever you're ready".
Huening Kai sighed softly and sniffled, wiping the remaining tears on his face. He took a deep breath before starting.
"You remember Jungkook Hyung?". He asked.
"Ne, he's nice and pretty cool. Did something happen to him?".
"Nothing bad happened to him, don't worry. But...........He told me yesterday that he was leaving for two months.........all the way in the US". Huening Kai was surprised he hadn't started to cry.
"Oh I'm sorry Kai. That must be hard since I've seen how close you guys are.......why is he leaving?".
"....His job is taking him on a trip and it's offering him alot more money that we both need.....".
"Are you mad at him for leaving?".
"I was at first but.....now I'm just really sad and.......scared.....".
"Why are you scared?".
Huening Kai hesitated to speak but decided to tell somewhat of the truth. "He's just always been there for me and he takes care of me way better than anyone......I don't want him to leave".
"I'm sure you'll be okay. You have me, and Soobin..... Beomgyu....Taehyun. Even our parents". Yeonjun chuckled softly.
Huening Kai smiled softly and nodded. "I know that of course. He's just kind of an important part of my small family. He keeps us all together and safe. You know?".
"Ne. I understand that. I also understand that he's leaving because he needs to keep you safe. You understand that right?".
"Ne. I'm just disappointed I can't do anything else besides cry like a baby".
"It doesn't matter if you cry like a baby. Emotions aren't something to be ashamed of. I know you've been through a lot so you reacting that way makes perfect sense".
"Thanks Hyung........I feel better already".

"You need to wake up Huening Kai. Come on". Yeonjun said softly, before opening the door quietly. He peaked inside and sighed when he saw Huening Kai still asleep. "Aish this kid". He murmured before walking over to Huening Kai and sitting besides him. "Ningning, wake up. We have to go to school". Yeonjun said, shaking Huening Kai. He didn't answer. The older sighed loudly and then shook him one more time. "Wake up Kai". The younger shifted in his sleep, finally waking up. "What time is it?". He asked in a raspy voice. "About 7:28". Yeonjun answered. The younger groaned loudly and then lifted himself from bed. "I'll start getting ready". He said, yawning. "Alright, I'll go downstairs". Yeonjun patted his head gently and then left the room. Huening Kai groaned softly as he got out of bed to change into some jeans, a purple sweater, white tennis shoes, and a white headband. (the ones that go around your forehead or some idk what they're called) He grabbed his stuff and then headed downstairs where Yeonjun was waiting. "You gonna eat anything?". The older asked. Huening Kai shook his head and then grabbed the older's hand in his. "Let's go Hyung". He said, dragging him out of the house. The two boys walked to school together, mostly in silence though. Yeonjun wanted to say something to Huening Kai but he didn't know what. He was so quiet that it was weird. "H-how did you sleep Ningning?". Yeonjun asked, trying to break the silence. Huening Kai sighed softly. "It was good....... I just didn't get enough......". He answered. The older nodded and then wrapped his arm around Huening Kai's waist, pulling him close. The younger smiled softly and grabbed onto the older's torso. "Don't be sad or tired today okay? I'll make you feel better"., Yeonjun said quietly. "Okay Hyungie".

"Okay, so we have the points (19, -3) and (4, 2) and the formula is Y= mx + b. You'd have the find the slope first so you'd do Y - Y and X - X. Which is?". Huening Kai nodded and then began to write down his answer. "It would be -3 - 2 and 9 - 4 right?". He said nervously. Yeonjun nodded with a smile. "Yes, now what would that give us?". He asked. "We would have -5 and 5". Huening Kai answered before making a somewhat confused expression. "And because we can't have too slopes, we would conclude that -1 is our slope because 5 times -1 equals -5. Giving us the answer that makes most sense". The older explained, looking at Huening Kai to check he was following through. The younger thought for a few seconds and then nodded. "So we would put it into our equation as m right?". "Yes, but we aren't quite done. We now have to find the special B. Do you remember how to do that?". Huening Kai awkwardly chuckled and shook his head. Yeonjun smiled to his cuteness and shrugged. "It's okay, I'll walk you through it". Yeonjun picked up his pencil and began to guide the younger, writing notes and the work down for him to understand. "So we would use -3 as our base since its represents the y intercept. Obviously x is not 0 at the time but we don't need it to be. We'll just write down the solution, which is -3 = -1(9) + b. We solve it so, -3 = -9 + b". The older looked at Huening Kai who was nodding in focus and then continued to explain. "We would then add 9 on both sides since it's a simple linear equation which would give us 6 = b. So our entire equation would be Y = -1x + 6". Yeonjun put his pencil down and then looked at Huening Kai with a soft expression. "Did you understand?". He asked the younger. Huening Kai hummed softly. "I understand but I don't get why you did that to solve for the y intercept". He said. The older nodded and then pointed to his work as he explained. "Because we are trying to find y when x is zero, we would just plug in 9 to the equation since it's x. We're just using the equation we have now to solve for the rest". "Ohhhh!". The younger exclaimed, smiling widely. "That makes more sense. So you're just solving the equation by solving it!". Yeonjun smiled and nodded. Huening Kai clapped cutely, loving the feeling of understanding math. (A/N: wish I could Ningning) Yeonjun giggled softly as Huening Kai happily re-explained the problem. "Thank you Hyung, I don't know what I would do without you". He said, hugging Yeonjun while giving him a belly rub. The older felt his heartbeat get rapid and his cheeks heat up but he quickly brushed it off so the younger wouldn't notice. "Of course Ningning. Anytime". "Now come on! We only have a few more problems and you have to explain them to me!". Huening Kai exclaimed, frantic to finish his work. "Calm down Ningning. I think we can take a break". Yeonjun replied, chuckling softly. The younger gasped. "You can do that!?". He asked. The older nodded making the younger just burst into joy. "Oh thank god then!". He exclaimed. Yeonjun rolled his eyes amused and then pushed his work from him to pay attention to Huening Kai. "Okay, so tell me everything and anything that's been happening". He said.
"Okay! Soooooo obviously we've been at school but I've been rehearsing with Soobin Hyung a lot for the festival and I'm actually really excited even though it's so far away". Huening Kai giggled softly, smiling. Yeonjun smiled back and ruffled his hair before speaking. "Aren't you gonna do a solo?". He asked. Huening Kai nodded enthusiastically. "I haven't chosen a song yet but I think I'll start working on it around the beginning of November. What about you? Are you excited for the festival?". Yeonjun hummed softly before nodding. "I mean not now since I've been studying so I haven't really thought about it but I am excited when we get to plan the event". He answered. "Do you know when we'll start?". The younger asked. "They told me I'd have to ask the order all the supplies and stuff at least two weeks before we started decorating". The younger nodded and then smiled at his Hyung as he continued to ask questions. "Do you have any ideas of what you wanna do?". The older shook his head. "I do know I wanna have some sort of dancing or party though". Huening Kai's face lit up. "Ohhhh so like we get to pick music!? Or choose a dj or something!?". He began to gush about music recommendations. "We should play Bruno Mars! He's so talented!". Yeonjun chuckled softly as he heard the younger fan boy about Bruno Mars. He eventually found himself admiring his beauty again. Huening Kai was literally the most beautiful human being Yeonjun had ever seen, besides Beomgyu of course but he couldn't help but think about every little detail. His brown long silky hair, his cute small and pointy nose, his pink and luscious lips, his perfectly shaped jawline, his beautiful brown precious eyes, and Jesus when he smiled or laughed or did anything he just looked so cute and ethereal! Yeonjun could never deny how badly he wanted to kiss Huening Kai again. But he wanted him to actually be awake and accept him. But he knew he wouldn't. Yeonjun had always kept his distance and never dropped too obvious hints that he was into Huening Kai except when they were affectionate but everyone was like that with him. "Hyunggggg!". "Hyung!". "Yeonjun Hyung!". Yeonjun snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Huening Kai yelling his name. He looked at him with a confused look. "You okay? You were spacing out......and..also staring at me like last time". The younger said. Yeonjun chuckled nervously and then shrugged. "It was nothing sorry". Huening Kai nodded and smiled. "Wanna keep working?". He asked. "Sure".

Yeonjun's POV
The school day had gone by pretty fast today, it was already time to go home. (A/N: I wonder why😳) I was just putting the rest of my books away into my locker and heading to Huening Kai's. But before I did, I saw Soobin already there. I stood back and hid behind the wall as I took a small peek. "Are you coming to my house this afternoon?". Soobin asked, leaning against the lockers as he looked at Huening Kai with a small smile. "You know me Hyung. I just have to give Yeonjun Hyung a ride and go to the store". Huening Kai answered, smiling. "Okay but I'll be missing you~". I felt my blood boil as I watched Soobin pull Huening Kai into hug and kiss him on the head. Why is he touching him like that!? Why isn't he with his beomgyu if that's his crush!? Ugh! Keep your head together Yeonjun! You can't be obvious about your crush! So just brush it off and confront them! I looked over the wall once again, feeling jealousy as I watched the them. "Hyungie! Stop it!". Huening Kai exclaimed, pushing Soobin playfully. Soobin laughed as he didn't let him go. I sighed loudly and then just walked over there, putting on a smile. Soobin immediately separated him and Huening Kai when he saw me and I have to say that was probably for the best before I get even more mad. "Hi Yeonjun Hyung!". Huening Kai greeted, smiling widely. I smiled back. "Hey Ningning, you ready?". I asked. Huening Kai nodded and then hugged Soobin before I intertwined our hands, pulling him away from Soobin. I wrapped my arm around his waist tightly and walked quickly, making Huening Kai yelp in surprise. I ignored it and then walked towards Jungkook's car, opening the front door for him. Huening Kai quickly got in while I climbed in the car with a frown. I could feel Jungkook's eyes on me and Huening Kai as he tried to figure out what was going on. "Hey jagi, everything okay?". He greeted. "Yeah! I'm fine Hyung!". Huening Kai exclaimed. "What about you Yeonjun?". Jungkook then asked. I didn't look at him for a few seconds as I got myself to get my mind together. I took a deep breath and then smiled at Jungkook. "I'm alright Hyung, don't worry". I replied. Jungkook nodded and smiled before starting the car. It was quiet in the car before Jungkook and Huening Kai began to conversate. "I have great news jagi. Can you guess?". "Hmmmmm you got me a puppy?". "Nope". "You bought Bruno Mars merch for me!". "Try again". "Hmmmm...........Oh! Oh! You bought me plushies!". "Nopeeee!". "OHHHH! Did you get Ariana Grande to be my best friend!?". Jungkook laughed to Huening Kai's responses. "No Jagi, you're overthinking". He said. Huening Kai sighed before staying quiet to think. "I don't know Hyung! Tell me!". He begged softly.
Jungkook chuckled and nodded. "I got my boss to give me until the end of October as a break with you and Jaehyun". He said softly. Huening Kai gasped loudly and began to scream like a dolphin, making me smile to his reaction. "Really!? That's great Kookie Hyung! I'm so happy!". I smiled softly as I heard Huening Kai just immediately light up and gush from he happy he was. I could almost see his gummy smile and babie expression. After a few more minutes, we arrived in front of my house. I unbuckled my seat belt and climbed out of the car, thanking jungkook. Huening Kai also followed me, walking me to my front door. We reached the front door and I turned around to face Kai. "Are you mad at me Hyung?". He suddenly asked. I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't, my words were all jumbled up. "Is it because you saw me and Soobin Hyung?". I made a confused and shocked look. He saw me? "I didn't see you but.....you just seem like you're mad when you saw us together". Huening Kai explained. I sighed and mentally face palmed myself. "I'm sorry Kai....I just didn't like how he was touching you. I'm just not used to you being more affectionate with someone around my age besides me.....you know? I'm just protective". I said, scratching my head awkwardly. Huening Kai smiled and then hugged me tightly. "Nothing is going on between us if that's what you think......okay?". He whispered. I didn't respond. I didn't know if I believed him or not......and I hated that I thought I couldn't trust him but......I do though. I know I can trust him.....right? I nodded and wrapped my arms around Huening Kai, kissing his head before pulling away. "Alright Hyung, I gotta go". Huening Kai cupped my face and gave me eskimo kisses, making me blush furiously. "Bye!". And then he was off, running back to the car. I smiled softly as I watched him leave.
