I ran over to the elevators.
The morning cloudy sky, intensifying my gloom.
I literally was scared of Steven. He had scared me.
He trusted Serenity, the girl I knew I envied, more than me?
He had helped me, through the toughest things ever.
He had been there.
He had cared.
I am there. I care. I love him.
I stopped in all my actions.
Stood still.
Realizing what I just had thought.
But I did.
I love him.
More than anything in this world.
I loved Agent 6, the boy who had protected me, encouraged me, trusted me and believed in me.
And he had just told me something that broke my heart.
He basically said, "Opal, I don't trust you, I don't believe in you. I trust someone else, I believe in someone else, I love someone else."
I started to cry again.
I put the hood up on my sweatshirt, and walked out onto the beach.
I sat on the rocky side of the shore. The water was splashing up against the rocks. An intense and serene moment.
Serenity.
That was the word to describe that moment.
It was the silence in the air.
The calm after a booming storm of anger.
The girl who had stolen the person who had helped me along the way. Had stolen the heart of the person I loved.
I sat there.
Top any fight
Should've should've fell on your knee
Bang bang bang
You better not give in
And rule
And I feel the melody
I recited the Calamari Inkantation in my head.
Then I remembered the moment that changed me.

One of the octolings was about to destroy me. But something ran in front of me. It was a boy inkling. He turned around and stared at me. Looked at me confused, and then I stared at him back, with tears in my eyes. I backed up against the wall, scooting across the ground using my hands to shield my face in fear, as if he was an enemy.
"Don't worry." The boy said. He got on the ground next to me, and cupped his hands around mine. I cried more, with scared eyes.
He hugged me, and I mimicked this motion. I calmed down, and stopped crying, but stayed next to this boy. I realized that all of the octolings were gone. And the timer wasn't running.
"What?" I said quietly.
"You seem like an innocent little octoling." He said sweetly.
"Why isn't the test~"
He put a finger to his lips and winked. I smiled at him.
"I don't know if I can do this." I said quietly.
"I know you can. Use the thing that makes you unique. You'll see."
"Really?" I looked him in the eyes with sincerity.
He nodded and said, "Don't tell anyone that I was here. Okay?"
"Okay." I whispered. I got on my feet and looked to pick up my weapon. When I looked back up, the boy was gone.

I cried. I loved Steven. I loved Agent 6.
I was disturbed by a voice behind me.
"Well. It's about time we finally met..." a menacing voice said.
I turned around.
An octoling boy stood in front of the rocks. He had a dark purple tentacle. Dark skin, and almost white blue eyes. He wore the Octarian Army suit.
"Octar?" I said, questioning if that was the person who had been sending me those strange notes.
"Yes, Opal. We have some business to attend to."
He ran up, and tried to shove me into the water.
I had forgotten to put on water protection. It was lethal. I almost toppled over into the water. I stood up, and got in a stance. We both tried to shove each other into the water.
He grabbed my arm, and almost pushed me in.
He held me against the water, and I knew that if I fought back, I would fall in.
He held me there for a second.
He had the Octarian shades on, and to me, that meant that he had no control over his actions.
I would forgive him, if he did anything to me.
"Do you want to fail your people? Prove that boy right?" Octar said.
"You saw that?"
"Yes. Come with me, and you'll save the lives of your friends."
I thought for a moment.
I remembered when I thought everything was my fault and Serenity had comforted me.
I didn't want everything to be my fault.
I nodded in agreement.
Not one second later, Octar slammed my head against the rocks.
I fell to the ground.
Then fell asleep.
