"So, what are we going to do first?" Karin asked as she and Maika stood together.
"Good question, Hoyoshi, I would like you to be the kuudere character and Maika can be the sadistic character!" Dino replied, smiling as he speak.
"Right!"
"Understood!"
Both the new workers replied and slowly realize what he had said.
"K-kuudere?"
"Sadistic?!"
Kaho put a hand on the brunette's shoulder and explained to them. "This is a coffee shop where the workers have characteristics and interact with customers. It's similar to a maid or butler café." Maika then started to imagine a maid and a butler ready to serve.
Kaho then started to pose. "Incidentally, I'm the Tsundere one. I-I'm not especially worried or anything!" She said, acting as a tsundere.
Karin clap to her act but Maika was slightly confuse.
"Tsun...dere?"
"Tsundere is a type where the individual with a personality who is initially polarized warm or soft, cold, temperamental, hotheaded before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time!" Karin explained to the confused girl beside her. "In other words, cold in the outside, warm in the inside!"
"Will you be able to act your characters, Maika? Karin?" Kaho asked to the black hair girl and the brunette.
Karin took a deep breath and wore a emotionless face with ease. "I think I can handle it."
"Ooh! Hoyoshi is nailing it!" Dino exclaimed, giving a thumbs up. Akizuki nodded with his fingers on his lips, observing her.
"Um, how should I treat the customers?" Maika asked.
Dino smiled sweetly to the black haired girl. "It's like you're looking at them coldly as if their filth and verbally abuse them."
"B-but their customers!"
"Don't worry. Some customers like that kind of treatment!"Maika didn't like the idea of it and now she's having a second thought about it.
Karin look at him, still in character. "What kind of world do you leave on?"
Suddenly, the door open, hitting the bell to inform that customers has arrive. "Oh, it's looks like a couple of customers are here now." Dino pointed out as two men came in.
Maika look at them with nervous eyes as he push her gently. "All right, your first duty, Maika!"
As Maika was in front of the customers, her knees were about to get weaken. Karin looked at her worriedly, standing by the counter. "I'm kinda worried for her."
Akizuki stood beside her. "She'll get use to it. Why don't you try it?"
"I wanted to see how Maika does." Karin turn her head and smiled, giving Akizuki another blushed and look away.
"G-get into your character now!"
Karin gasped and nodded before looking out for other customers to show up. As if on cue, another pair of customers came in.
"Looks like there's one now." Akizuki said, crossing his arms. "Good luck, Hoyoshi."
Karin took a deep breath before looking up, showing her emotionless face and walk up to the customers.
"H-hello, table for two, please?"
The two customers smiled to Karin as she just stare at them with blank but welcoming eyes, fitting her character.
"...Welcome. Please follow me."
As Karin showed them to their table, she gave them the menu along with her notepad that was given not to long ago. "What would you like today?"
"Um, one rice omelette and..."
"one cappuccino will be fine."
Karin felt like it wasn't enough for the other customer to have only cappuccino so she added another treat for him before nodding, walking away with the order.
"Man, are you sure you want only cappuccino? You know it's on me, right?"
"I'm alright, I'm not hungry anyways."
Karin smiled to her idea to give him a free treat. As the food was ready to serve, she quickly went to her character again and gave the customers their order.
"One omelette..." Karin puts the omelette in front of the customer and the cappuccino and her treat to the other customer. "...and one cappuccino."
"Um, I didn't order the cookies..."
Karin look at the cookies before looking at the customer. "It's already serve for you, so take it. Besides, a drink in a café with only the cappuccino seems not enough, right?" She tilted her head with her eyes sparkled a little but still with a frown face.
Suddenly, flowers appear around the customers as the one who was treated thank her and both of them blushed. "T-thank you so much!"
Dino, Akizuki and Kaho admire her good work. "Karin sure knows her character!" Akizuki slightly smile to how Karin nailed her characteristic.
When the three of them turn to where Maika was, they all sweat dropped.
Maika was going to serve the two omelette and put the ketchup on it for them. Instead of the ketchup on the omelette, it splattered on both of the customer's faces.
Maika look at them, unknowingly she was glaring at them. But both of the customers shivered to the glare.
In a good way.
"oh, dear. Should I help her out?" Kaho asked Akizuki, who's behind the kitchen counter.
"No, she'll be fine."
"They're f...filthy." Maika said darkly at the two customers, glaring at them again.
Instead of sad and anger, they both thank her. "Thank you!!"
"See?"
"Huh."

Both of the customers that Maika and Karin serve walk out and feel all refresh.
"That was awesome!"
"Yeah the best!"
"Man, the new girl sure is nice. Even if she didn't show it!"
Both Karin and Maika bow down.
"Thank you for coming."
"Yes, thank you, please never come again!"
As the door closes, the girl started to freak out as the other took a deep breath of relief.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I'm sorry for being mean to you. Please come again! I'll be waiting!" Maika turn around towards Karin, Kaho and Akizuki. "I-I didn't make the customers mad at me, right!?"
Both Kaho and Akizuki praise her for her sadism.
"It was brilliant! Beautiful sadism!"
"It was great how you look at them! Like they were garbage!"
"Um, they were suppose to be compliments, right?" Maika asked as Akizuki pointed below.
"Yeah. As proof, look."
On the floor, was Dino with a congratulate signed in blood.
Both Maika and Karin gasped in shocked.
"M-manager! Are you okay?!"
"Wait... Is that blood?!"
Akizuki turn to Karin and congratulate her. "You did good too, Hoyoshi. Nice work."
Karin gasped before smiling sweetly, blushing from his compliment.

Dino wipe his nose with tissues again before smiling. "Well, that's what kind of café this is. But, if it's not for you, Maika, then I won't force you. Of course, Karin will be working here since she has been accepted."
Karin smiled and turn to Maika, who's a little hesitated to asnwer. "Um, I don't know if I'll be any good at this. But, I will do my very best! So I'll be looking forward to work with all of you!" She replied as she smiled to them.
Dino and Kaho smiled brightly to her response and Akizuki just smiled.
Karin did as well. "And I, as well, will be looking forward to work with you."
Dino grab a hold of Maika's gloved hands. "Yes! I swear I'll make you happy!"
"What a weird response."
"Um..."
"Oh, pardon me! It was an impulse!"
Dino let go of her hands and Maika ask. "Manager, you're from another country, right?"
"Yes, I'm from Italy."
His reply made Maika's eyes sparkled. "My dream is to go to another country one day to study!"
"So that's why you're looking for a job, for..." Kaho said as the girl finished it.
"Yep! So I can save money!"
"You love other countries, huh Maika?" Karin asked as she nodded.
"Yes..." Maika turn to Dino and smiled lovely to him. "I love them!"
Dino, misunderstood the situation, started to shake in excitement as he covered his nose for another nosebleed.
"Manager, she's not referring to you." Kaho said in the background.

As the next day came, Karin came across a very familiar person as she was on her way to her new job.
"Mafuyu!" The short girl turn around as she heard a familiar voice called her out.
"Oh, Karin. It's good to see you again. How's your college?" Mafuyu smiled to the sight of her friend.
Karin skip to her as both of them walk side by side. "It's been good. I'm kinda sad to end my college years a little fast."
Mafuyu smiled to her. "Look at the bright side, you won't be stressing out about some random project."
Karin scratch her cheeks and chuckled. "Where are you heading?"
"To my workplace."
An hour later, Maika had just finished her school day and is now heading to Stile. She was confident for her second day and was curious to how it will go. As she arrived, she greeted. "Good morning!"
She was shocked to see Mafuyu, who she hasn't met yet, sitting on Dino as he cried.
"W-what is this!?"
Mafuyu sighed, continued to seat on Dino. Karin just stand there smiling at the scene. The grown man then turn to Maika, still crying.
"Maika, please help me! I'm being bullied!"
Mafuyu hit his head. "This is what you deserve, right? For sleeping on the job."
Maika tilted her head as they talk.
"It's because I didn't get enough sleep after watching late-night anime!"
"You should've recorded it and watched at your leisure."
"That would be more easier so you won't slack off, Manager."
"It's more meaningful to watch it in real-time!"
Maika then came into a conclusion as she clap her hands together. "You have a way with children, huh, Manager?"
As Maika said that, Mafuyu became irritated and grab a full hand of Dino's hair. He yelled out in pain as Maika laughed. Karin sighed until she heard the door open.
"Good morning!" Kaho greeted.
"Good morning, Kaho." Karin greeted back as Kaho look at the commotion and gasped. "Mafuyu, good morning! So we're working the same shift today, huh?"
Mafuyu greeted back a simple wave. "Morning."
"Mafuyu, I think that's enough. I think he get the punishment." Karin said, hoping she would stop. But she didn't budge.
"Oh! The manager's supervisor, I suppose?" Maika asked Kaho as she just chuckled.
"Maika!"

"So, you work here, too?" Maika asked, looking down at Mafuyu.
After toturing the poor manager who quickly went away from her, Mafuyu nodded in respond. "Yes, and you're the newbie along with Karin."
"Right. I'm Maika Sakuranomiya."
"I'm Mafuyu Hoshikawa. Nice to meet you." As Mafuyu said that, Maika started to thought of her being in elementary school. Karin notice this and went to knock her forehead, startling the girl.
"Maika, Mafuyu here is a college student. From where I was standing, I could tell what you were thinking."
Maika apologize to Mafuyu for thinking such of thing, but she shrugged it off saying it happens often so the girl was relief that she didn't blow a fuse.
The girls then walked together to the changing room and started to change on their waitress dress. Karin's locker was beside Kaho's as the blonde girl started a conversation. "Hey, Karin. How did you know Mafuyu?"
Karin look at her, confused.
"Well, it look like you two have known each other for maybe quite a long time. So I thought you two had history."
Karin smiled. "Well, Mafuyu and I are both college buddies until I move college four months ago."
Kaho gasped. "Y-you're a college student?! I thought you were older than me but I didn't know you were a college student!"
"I get that a lot. I do look younger than you think, huh?" Karin chuckled as Kaho nodded, grinning.
The blonde girl gasped before turning to Mafuyu. "Now you've got three little sisters, Mafuyu!"
"Little sisters?" Maika asked as she pin her dress.
"I guess Mafuyu's always wanted a little sister."
Maika and Karin both smiled. "I see, we're younger, so we're like little sisters, the three of us."
as the three laughed together, Mafuyu went behind Kaho and Karin and slap their behind. "A huge little sisters like you both doesn't count. Dress lolita style and I'll reconsider."
"I'd be too embarrassed!"
"Mafuyu, you know I don't like cosplay!"

The four of them them stood beside each others outside of the room. "All right! Let's work it!"
"Right!"
Karin took a deep breath before went into her emotionless face walk to the café, ready to serve the customers.
Maika turn to Mafuyu, who she has been wondering what kind of character she will be. Mafuyu clap both of her cheeks. "Work mode, on."
As she look up, her eyes aren't droopy and her personality isn't as boredom as it is anymore, instead her voice went high as her eyes sparkled. "All right! We have to welcome our big brothers!"
Maika gasped in horror to see her personality suddenly change.
"Big Brother, wait for me!"
"I-Incredible!"
Maika then does the same as Mafuyu did several times. 'I have to learn from them and get into character. Even Karin manage to play hers!'
"Maika, could you fill up the whipped cream--" Dino asked her from behind but suddenly stopped.
"Quit your barking, mongrel." Maika replied darkly as she turn to glare at Dino.
The word 'mongrel' flew past Dino as he flop to the floor. "S-sorry."
"Manager! I-I'm sorry!"
