Chapter 26: The stars illuminating in our eyes

It's been a day when the demon invited Tanaka to his house, how strange, Tanaka has yet to know his name so why did he agree

"Would you like to walk with me?" The man asked Tanaka, as he was about to refuse, the demon suddenly carried him, clearly not giving him a chance to reject his offer
Carrying a cute mob in his arms, the demon slowly walked out, heading outside the manor and both of them crossed the lone road, the demon actually has no idea where to go but still did what he has to do
The demon kept walking while Tanaka just looked up, he can see both the night sky filled with stars and the demon's quilt which hides his face, both of them have no destination
But it's clear that they enjoyed one another's presence although none of them speak, they were too caught up in the comfortable silence, all they can hear is the wind and animals ringing all over the place
There would be dangers ahead of them, the demon closed his eyes, staying still, feeling the wind passing him, it was both cold and warm
The worse has yet to come and he hopes it never will, sighing, he looks down and both their sights are connected
"What's wrong?" Tanaka asked, seeing that the demon seems to be less enthusiastic than earlier
Tanaka stood up and the demon let him down gently, but without a warning, Tanaka lifted his hand and patted the former, the demon didn't expect it but he leaned against the touch and smiled at Tanaka
"Please don't be sad" Without knowing the reason, Tanaka assumed that the demon is sad which is half true and half false
"Alright" The demon just feigned innocence and chuckled, all of a sudden, he pulled Tanaka toward his bosom and hugged him
As for Tanaka, he was pressed to the demon's body, his hands leaning against the male lead 'not-a-candidate-anymore'
He didn't resist but just let it be, seeing that Tanaka didn't make any attempt to escape, the male lead was happy and he rested his forehead against Tanaka's shoulder
"Tanaka, so this is the reason?" he said grinning as he whispered the last part, Tanaka heard some of it but he let it be soon after
Both of them stayed in that position for a minute before the male lead pulled away, showing a grin to Tanaka
'I could never keep a cold face in front of you' He thought and saw that Tanaka is looking at him confused as for why he's so happy
Taking this chance, the scheming demon leaned in and stole a kiss, Tanaka grunted and bit the demon's hand
"Ouch, haha" the demon chuckled from the childish action of Tanaka, It was worth it
'Why did I agree to live with a maniac?' Tanaka thought hard for the reason but nothing comes to mind
"Tanaka, when will you pack your things and move in?~" Our male lead asked with obvious impatience
"After Ciel and Sebastian comes back" Tanaka answered truthfully and it made the other man think
'One more week? tsk, that neighboring demon prince is rather annoying, to think that he's been next to Tanaka this past 3 yrs' Gritting his teeth as he thought of how to deal with Sebastian
But he'll probably be greeted with a surprise
"That's fine, I'll be here watching you anyway" he said to Tanaka and the latter just nodded his head
Suddenly, a yawn was heard, our male lead turned to look at Tanaka and saw his closed eyes
"It's past his sleep time" He smiled and picked Tanaka up
"Thank you for being the one I desire"
Both of them walked back to the way they went, it can take an instant for them to arrive at the Suzuki Manor but our male lead wants to spend more time with our mob, so no matter how far it is, he'll walk slowly to increase the time they spent together
It took an hour for them to arrive at Tanaka's room, slowly, Tanaka was gently set down unto his bed, male lead stared at Tanaka's face for a moment before turning back and went out of his room
There he saw his sister, eyeing him suspiciously
"You didn't do anything?" She asked jokingly and she received a chuckle
"It seems brother is in a good mood" Stating a fact as she sent a smile toward her brother
'I will sacrifice my own feelings for your sake, brother' But hidden behind her happy facade is a heavy sadness which lies beneath her heart
Suddenly, her brother stopped moving and she saw that he was looking at her
'It seems brother noticed it, haha' She thought to herself
"What's wrong?" He asked seriously, he can feel his sister's sadness, it bothers him, instead of an answer, she just responded with a smile and shook her head
"Just thinking if it's possible for a person to banish and be reborn with another identity" She said but her brother didn't seem to understand 'well, let's keep it that way'
"Take care of yourself" He advised and pat her before going out while she just watched him walking away, she felt her tears falling
"I'm sorry, but I'm not giving him up" He whispered in the air once he got far from her, he knows, he knows the reason for her tears but he can never give him up, dead or alive, he would never let him go
Both siblings went their own ways for they both have their own life to live, one is filled with sadness while the other is filled with empty guilt
But feeling this way won't do anything, the lady wiped off her tears while the man gets rid of his meaningless guilt, they have nothing to regret!

On the other hand,
their big brother, Rai is currently doing his best to find his King to woo him, yes, Rai called Akaashi his "King" because Akaashi got mad at him yesterday for calling him his queen all the time
Honestly tho, Rai kept calling him "Queen" it hurts his pride as a man and his feelings, and now, Rai has learned his lesson, never again must he treat his King like a woman

"You'll be my Queen"

"Forever, I will hold you near my Queen

"My Queen!"
and another and then another, it's a never-ending endearment of "Queen"
"You fcking bastard, I am a King, go find a woman to call a Queen!! I hate you!" And that was the first time that Akaashi got mad and it was hell, after that Akaashi went away using his portal
"Akaashi!" Rai screamed his name before he disappeared completely

"Tsk, Rai, You're such an idiot bastard" Rai scolded himself, he never even thought about Akaashi's feeling
"How will you take care of him when you're such an idiot, huh?!" He continued to tell himself
Meanwhile, his brother is on the other side of the wall leaning against it as he listens to his brother beating himself
"Brother, you know that it is your fault, but don't beat yourself over it, let Akaashi beat you himself" He barged in, annoyed
"Brother...Yes, that's true, thank you, but it's so difficult to find him" Rai told his brother while the latter just sighed
"Let him be for a day or else, he might get madder at you if you keep trying to look for him" He advised and Rai thought about it and nodded reluctantly
"Well then, I'll leave you alone" The demon bid goodbye and walked out of his brother's room
Romance is actually very challenging, unfortunately for Tanaka, this guy interested in him has fallen hard to the point of no return, if Tanaka doesn't end up in his arms, the person who stole him better run and hide
He's not that possessive as to hide him from other people but if something ever happened to Tanaka which cause him to experience a near-death situation, he'll do anything just to get back at them even with his life on the line and before reaching his last breath, what more if Tanaka died?

So here's another chapter, I noticed, I did, I noticed that this story is getting rather boring but I don't even know if I can write exciting chapters, well if I can't, I might as well stop writing this story :/
