Chapter 15: Fired up 🔥

Currently, Tanaka is in his room thinking of what happened earlier

He was too weak, he couldn't even resist the man

He has to get stronger

All of a sudden, a surge of determination came to Tanaka, his eyes are on fire

He decided, he'll be stronger and after that, he'll be lazy whenever he wants

He went to the library and research for the basic about magic

First thing first is the mana, how to gather it

The book said there are numerous mana around him, especially around the forest, water, an open space, a cave, just anywhere natural

As he loves nature he heads toward the forest that was really close to the city, the little chick in his shoulder

He went to the forest with the book and the little chick

When he arrived, he felt fresh and free, he again opened the book to look upon how to see and absorb mana

It took minutes before he found it

But he closed his eyes and cleared his mind

It was really easy because he doesn't have any worries to think of

And all of a sudden, particles of all color appeared, and they went into his body slowly

It was as if they were attracted to Tanaka

Tanaka feels fluffy so he is feeling incredibly sleepy but he suppressed it

He won't give up once he started

Hiding in the dark, the demon whose face was hidden by the black fabric, chuckled, seeing that his target is working hard

He is amused by how fast Tanaka absorbed the manas

Although, Tanaka himself doesn't realize it

But he was feeling a little envious by the manas being absorbed by Tanaka

"Tsk, tsk, they get it in easily, how about me? Would it be easy?" He complains to no one but still couldn't resist and imagines of Tanaka beneath him, seeing this, he licks his lips, oblivious

"Hmm, such elegance and charisma" he stated

What a perverted demon, is he really an ordinary demon or maybe he's actually an incubus

Nah, that's just not right, certainly not an incubus, just a perverted one

Incubus is much more straight forward and will certainly assault their prey

Tanaka feels a bit bothered and as usual, he has no idea what's causing him to feel this way but it certainly is disturbing him from collecting his desired mana

"Ooh, I'll bother you later then" the demon behind the trees chuckled, it truly is amusing to see Tanaka be agitated

But before he vanished as he usually does, a crow twice bigger than average came out of the demon's body

As if he'll leave Tanaka unattended, so he thought of leaving his familiar here to watch over Tanaka

If Tanaka is in danger it'll notify him right away

And finally, he vanished, as for the bird, he went to hide in the tree to watch Tanaka secretly

He can sense another dark aura around here, it seems weaker than his contractor

The crow suspects that the individual with the demonic aura went closer when it realized that his master is gone at the moment

But the crow didn't let it get to him, he'll wait until the individual gets closer

He wanna see how this would end up, he'll notify his master if it gets dangerous

But at this moment he got paranoid

'What would happen if the person has a teleportation skill or teleportation scroll, then that person might get away with Tanaka, that'd be bad for me' the crow knows that it'll be his doom if Tanaka got kidnapped or hurt, so he notified his master by their bond and suddenly, the demon appeared once again, but this time, his aura is completely concealed

"I've been gone for only two minutes but he has already attracted another pest" the demon said, his surroundings are both tranquil and gloomy

And as the suspected kidnapper got closer, another creature came out of the bushes, it was a really small black snake with white spots, kinda like the stars at night

The individual was alerted by who? Such a small snake could never harm him

All of a sudden the small snake grew larger and longer, towering over the man

The individual was shocked, how could such a legendary snake appear out of nowhere

On the tree, the demon chuckled, he discovered another thing about Tanaka

He knew Tanaka can attract animals but to think that even legendary ones approach him

The individual readied himself, he can fight this legendary animal for a minute and he'll escape

The snake dived toward the man and the man tried to escaped but got hit by the tail of the snake

Altho the snake is really big, it can still move properly, it's really flexible

The individual is covered with black lines, he knew it's his doom

A teleportation scroll appeared in his hands, he was supposed to use it to kidnap Tanaka but this is a grave situation

He's lucky he didn't forget his spatial ring this time

He'll use the scroll to escape, but before he can actually use it, the snake wrapped him up with his tail causing him unable to move

The scroll slip off his hand and finally, the snake slip away with him, leaving Tanaka alone

And at this moment, a fire was lit by someone unknown but definitely knows the man's destiny (isn't that me?)

Even though someone attempted to kidnap him, Tanaka was still focused on absorbing mana, he is vulnerable at this moment

Thanks to the snake who appeared out of nowhere to help him, we'll, even if it didn't appear, the demon can definitely stop the man without doing anything

Well, he's a man of Tanaka, how could he be weak, tsk tsk tsk, if he's weak he'll definitely be killed by other hidden competitors for Tanaka's heart

Ugh, I didn't want to update at all but I still did my best, ideas aren't coming to me, well, while I was writing this tho, I received another idea🤣🤣

Anyway, I was feeling lazy to write but still did anyway, sighhhh, also I have a week vacation so I am extremely being couch potato as I usually am
