Chapter 7: Library

After hanging out, Ryo led Tanaka to the library since Tanaka requested to go to the library, naturally, he would lead Tanaka there

As they walked toward the library, everything was silent but it was comfortable kind of silence, altho Tanaka was suffering from walking too much due to how lazy he felt

Passing every servant in the hallway, they kneeled with their heads down, greeting their young master, Tanaka and Ryo

When they arrived, they met the librarian who greeted them and kneeled like the others and stood up again to ask what Tanaka needed

"Is there something you're looking for, Young Master?" He asked attentively

"About the world" Tanaka said and the Librarian thought about the history and legends of their world

And 2 books came into his mind and he immediately searched those books

Seeing that the librarian left to search the books, Ryo and Tanaka also walked around the shelves

Looking for more interesting books

And Tanaka found a book explaining how magic works and more

"Who wrote this book?" Tanaka suddenly asked and the librarian appeared beside him, carrying 2 books with him, about the world and about beasts and magic

"Oh, It was written by Young Master's ancestor, his name is Suzuki Makoto" He answered, Tanaka nods

"But...This book is sealed, no one could open it" He added and once again, Tanaka could only nod to express that he understood

Too bad that this book is sealed but he became interested in it so he still hid it in his clothes

The librarian didn't care at all, Tanaka is a Young Master of the Suzuki household, so he let him take the book

"Here are the books, Young Master" He said and gave the books to Tanaka, who took it and thanked the librarian

He searched for a chair and Ryo called out to him

"There are chairs over there" Tanaka looked at the direction where Ryo was pointing at

Tanaka grimaced to how far the chairs are

Ryo started walking toward the chairs but Tanaka was stoned in his position and Ryo saw the unwillingness in Tanaka's eyes, so he walked toward Tanaka and carried him again

Tanaka was thankful but he felt uncomfortable, but due to his laziness, he doesn't want to walk so far anymore so he let Ryo carry him

Instead of teleporting toward there, Ryo decided to walk since this is a rare opportunity to hold Tanaka

He is even happier to see that Tanaka didn't resist

And Ryo started to think of lewd things

'How about when he's under me, what would he looks like?' He asked himself and couldn't help but breath out, a sigh of pleasure and impatience

But Tanaka felt chills and his hairs stood up

And he shivered for a bit, seeing that shiver, Ryo imagined Tanaka like that if he's under him

And he unconsciously licked his lips, seeing that move, Tanaka can't help but be fascinated and he shuddered

Finally, they arrived and Ryo set Tanaka down in a chair

He felt unsatisfied that they already arrived but it's fine since he would be able to hang out with him

Once he was set down, Tanaka opened the book about this world

At the first page, it explained that the world has a population of 20% hunter/humans and 35% magic users/alchemist/physician, 20% demon/mystical beast, 10% beast/monster tamer and 15% monsters

Fortunately, magic users protect ordinary people from the monsters

Some of the non-magic users have their own familiar, a life-contract or a master-servant contract with a mystical beast or a servant-master contract with a magic user

In that way, when their master or the servant is in danger, both of them would know that the other person is in danger

Life-contract, it's as you think, the contract last forever until they die, if they're in a life contract, if one of the person in that contract die, the other one also die so this contract is the best between a magic user and a beast who can defend themselves, but not all of them chose this option

Mostly, they choose the master-servant contract because unlike Life-contract, if one died, the contract would be cut off and the other person won't die

Oh and the person in a contract could hear the beast's voice

Well, monsters can also be your contract partner, you can contract with couple beast but it depends in your attribute level, if goes up one rank, you could get another beast, it's possible to have more beast even if it's not the same as your rank

As long as you have an extremely high attribute, you can have contract beast passing the limit of the beast needed every rank

But, magic users with an extremely high attribute can be counted in one hand

And those magic users almost didn't pass as a high magic user with high attribute

So it can be said that magic users with high attributes are rare, they are said to be a genius and a prodigy, they have multiple magic, some have 3 and some have 4

There are many different attributes but these are considered the most and extremely rare; light, darkness, fire, water, nature, wind/air, ice and thunder

Most magic users use swords to fight where they use their magic to strengthen the damage of the sword, they could use magic but if he has a low attribute then for example if he has a water attribute he could control the water in a bathtub that's how much he could only control but if it's average he could control 3× the bathtub water and if he has a high-level attribute, he could control one-half the sea and he could have another attribute but this time it's not rare, some do have 2 rare attributes and if they do then they could control 1/2 the sea water and for example if the other attribute is snow, he could also control only 1/4 of it, but he could also control the snow 1/2 but the sea control would be 1/4

But if there's someone with a higher attribute, they are said to be a legend a long time ago, and he has one of the rare attributes, he can even control half of the sea, many kinds of waters, many kinds of air, some natures, some kinds of snow and different types of thunder

But if there is someone who has every rare attribute, they have rainbow attributes and they could control every kind and all type of the rare attribute, they are also a legend from many eras ago, they are said to be able to read minds and could revive the dead

But no one could ever believe it, so they were only thought as a rumour or made up stories
