What's up everyone it's Mario and Sonic fanboy and today we're going to be doing another debunk and that my friends is Mega Man VS Astro Boy now before we begin I just need to say that despite them downplaying Mega Man they did update their information over time like recently, however despite this I just have to say that those times of info should have been used a long time ago (except for the Double Gear System because Mega Man 11 wasn't around yet so feats can't be pulled from that game.) But with all that out of the way let's get this debunk started.
Okay so the first claim made in this video is this about the Mega Buster Sure, using that much power could overheat and even kill him, but nah, what's life without a little risk, and double the fire power? So their basically saying that if Mega Man overcharges his Mega Buster it would kill them. I have never seen this happen to Mega Man before nor were there any statements that supports this. I'm really interested into we're they got that from.
The second claim is that (Wiz) Mega Man's bread and butter is his Variable Weapons System. With it he can wield any weapon he acquires, including those taken after defeating rogue robot masters. (Boomstick) Considering he's beaten over 100 of them, that's a lot of weaponry! So if you saw the video then you know that their only giving Mega Man these specific weapons. Metal Blades, Rolling Cutter, Quick Boomerang, Leaf Shield, Mega Ball, Spread Drill, Crash Bomber, Dive Missile, Magnet Missile, Commando Bomb, Bubble Bomb, Atomic Fire, Ice Slasher, Thunder Beam, Tornado Blow, Bubble Lead, Mirror Buster, Black Hole Bomb, Time Stopper, and the Super Adaptor. Now I don't see anything bad with it however the issue I have is that Mega Man can carry all of his weapons at any point in time plus several other weapons are important, but even with the weapons they gave him Mega Man would still win.
The next claim made is that (Wiz) Mega Man's greatest display of strength comes from when he held up a 20 story tower worth 60,000 tons, delaying its collapse just long enough to escape. (Boomstick) Impressive. But not compared to Astro Boy who could lift a 100,000 ton ocean liner with total ease. So basically their saying that Astro Boy takes the strength advantage over Mega Man because of a lifting strength feats. First off all Mega Man held it up for a short period of time, secondly there's a difference between lifting strength and striking strength, for those of you who say that lifting strength=striking strength should be a shame because there is no actual evidence that supports this. Thirdly lifting strength doesn't matter in a fight. Astro Boy may be stronger than Mega Man in terms of lifting strength yes Astro would win an armwrestling contest.
However Mega Man is actually stronger in terms of striking strength. Astro may scale to Bem who destroyed a red sun.
However Mega Man is stronger than that because his Atomic Fire is twice as hot fire is twice as the sun.
The red sun Astro scales to is at least 4,000 to 5,800 degrees Fahrenheit where as the Atomic Fire is at least 12,000 degrees. That's around 3 times hotter than the red sun Astro Boy scales to so Mega Man definitely gets the edge in that category plus furthermore Mega Man has gone toe to toe with Sunstar who is literally design to destroy stars. Mega Man used his Mega Buster to clash with Sunstar.
And their clash sent beams at several parts of the Earth and destroyed entire cities.
Sunstar even blew up the Wily Star by self destructing. Mega Man definitely takes the strength advantage in striking strength.
The next claim made in the video is that (Wiz) Mega Man defeated Quick Man who is faster than lightning, or over 224,000 mph. (Boomstick) That's cute. After patching things up with dear old dad number one, Astro Boy was so excited that he took a victory lap around the entire planet... in two seconds! (Wiz) Clocking in at just under 45,000,000 mph! So the next claim is that Astro Boy is faster because he can move 44,821,800 miles per hour at 200 times faster than Mega Man. Okay so hears the problem with that, Astro flying around the Earth in 2 seconds is a travel speed feat, and there's a difference between travel speed and combat speed. Mega Man can keep up with Duo who at best can move at 76,450,295,749 miles per hour over 114 times the speed of light, over 1,705 times faster than Astro's Earth speed feat. Now Astro has race a missile to the sun in seconds making him 39 times the speed of light around 26,154,048,545 miles per hour but that's still slower than Duo plus I found calculations of Mega Man dodging his attack.

According to this calculation that's around 127,417,159,510 miles per hour 190 times the speed of light and much faster than Astro Boy. Now I can see you guys typing in the comments saying "Bruh Duo held back in their fight." Well guess what Mega Man scales to Rush who has done far greater things. Rush was able to dodge lasers from the Wily's canons which can travel to the distance of an asteroid belt in 2 seconds moving at 167,654,157,346 miles per hour which is 250 times the speed of light that's over 3,740 times faster than Astro Boy even if we use the missile feat that is still 6 times faster than Astro but that's not even the end I actually found some calculations that would make him even faster.

So according to the calculations Rush must have been moving around 276,294,051,148 miles per hour 412 times the speed of light that is 6,164 times faster than Astro's Earth travel feat and again even with the missile feat that's still 10 times faster than than Astro so either way Mega Man definitely takes the speed advantage in combat speed plus if I high ball this 167,654,157,346 and 76,450,295,749 then Mega Man's overall combat speed is around 219,298,245,616,261 miles per hour that's 8,384 times faster than Astro's best combat speed feat and 4,892,669 times faster than Astro's travel speed feat. And by highballing 276,294,051,148 and 127,417,159,510 by dividing we would put Mega Man at miles per hour 2,168,421,052,631,579 miles per hour now that is a lot faster than Astro Boy. So overall Mega Man is a lot faster than Astro Boy when it comes to reacting and dodging and these evidence proves it. And yes I know I highballed too much but their the ones who downplayed Mega Man so I have every right to highball him.
Quick heads up: I wouldn't technically use 276,294,051,148 or 127,417,159,510 or 2,168,421,052,631,579 as that's probably the reason behind the highball but either way Mega Man is faster.
The last claim that was used is that Plus Astro survived a bomb capable of stopping a solar flare. Heck, he got accidentally blasted by an atomic disintegrator gun and was still completely intact! So they went over Astro's durability feats and didn't even bother to go over Mega Man's durability feats. Oh boy.....Mega Man scales to Duo who survived crashing into Jupiter with this much force

Plus Mega Man can scale to Sunstar who like I said was able to destroy stars plus I should mention that one of the calculations says it's Solar System Level. Astro Boy hasn't shown anything even close to that level.
As for the fight itself I have a few issues with it I mean most of the fight is fine but like a friend of mine told me that even the fight itself is inaccurate as the character who would win lost because they downplayed the character so hard it's not even funny.
I forgot to mention that Mega Man does have teleportation sure he doesn't use it during battle but he's fought people who have. Astro Boy hasn't been shown to keep up with people who can teleport.
How did Mega Man not dodge that? I've already proven that Mega Man is much faster in terms of combat speed.
What a minute Hard Knuckle is the same thing as this as when he does Drive Missile.
Like their literally the exact same thing only difference is the attack that he does.
That is a huge black hole right there and Astro is just lucky enough to outrun it even though he's never been shown to out run a black hole before. At least Sonic temporarily outran a black hole.
Why didn't Mega Man just use the Metal Blade to damage Astro while he's still frozen? Because if I learned anything about using time manipulation powers is that they give you enough time to act while your opponent is frozen and they don't feel the damage until after time unfreezes.
Mega Man actually goes a lot faster in his Super Adaptor form because that form scales to Rush who already has been stated to be 250 times light speed (412 if highballed.) at best.
Why didn't Mega Man put the bomb on Astro Boy's head while he was frozen so that way when it goes off Astro's head will get blow off? (This is something I'll go over later.)
How the heck is Astro able to knock Rush out of Mega Man? Like seriously there's just no way someone please tell me how?
Mega Man should've been able to beat Astro Boy right there especially since he charged his Mega Busters at a max.
So how did Astro win again? Because if I'm being honest I don't know how he survived that explosion which should've blast him into pieces.
So in conclusion Mega Man should've won this battle. I'm not saying it's a stomp or anything I mean Astro Boy does have advantages of his own like flight, maneuverability, and skills but Mega Man's strength, speed, durability, and verity arsenal is just enough to win even if Astro Boy was faster than Mega Man, the Blue Bomber still wins because he's fought people who are faster than him before so he's seen worst.
