My life is quite simple. I love it because of everyone in it. I had my two amazing parents, and my brother who is just a couple moments older than me. We both are in grade 11 and love each other's company. Me and Lucas love each other.
My best friends are Jenna and Kylie and we've known each other basically all my life. Our parents are best friends and Jenna and Kylie also have brothers that are our age who Lucas is friends with.
I guess you could say everything is perfect. Lucas's friends names are Alex and Carter. Carter who is Kylie's brother and Alex who is Jenna's brother. We all get along quite well.
Well that is my life. But now let's snap out of this and get to the real story.
"Wake up! I'm not waiting for you to get me late again," Lucas yells as he stands in my doorway throwing pillows at me.
"Stop!!" I say in the most unflattering morning voice.
"I'm coming give me two minutes." I say as I rub my eyes getting out from under my covers.
Lucas makes his way out of my room giving me privacy to get changed and I use that to get to my bathroom. I take a quick shower and put on black ripped high waisted jeans with a white crop top.
I straighten my hair really quickly and head downstairs. "It's about time! You always get me late," Lucas says as my mom comes out in front of us.
"Okay let it go, would you guys like pancakes or eggs?" My mom says as I take a seat on the island beside Lucas.
"Pancakes," we both say in unison.
My mom shakes her head and laughs. "Lucas good luck on baseball tryouts today," my mom says and I pat him on the bank.
"Yes, Lucas, I hope you have a tremendous day and bomb your tryouts. God forbid you slip into the base and hurt something," I say and he laughs.
"Now that's enough, both of you get out before I get mad," me and Lucas enjoy a laugh and go to the car.
He gets in the drivers seat due to his fear of me driving. I'm not even that bad!!
We enjoy the car ride with his playlist playing until we finally reach. I get out of the car and wave him goodbye and good luck. As he asks me for money and I make sarcastic comments, I see Jenna coming to me. "Hey Luke," She says and I move out the way to let them continue what they always do.
"Hey princess," he replies.
Flirt, they always flirt
She rolls her eyes as if she doesn't like him but they definitely like each other. "So wanna catch a ride with me after tryouts?" He asks as if I wasn't there.
"Uh I'm going with Tyler," she says as Luke's jaw clenched.
Here's the story with Jenna and Luke, when they aren't busy flirting with each other and find real boyfriends and girlfriends, Luke always says that he didn't like the girl and Jenna always said she doesn't feel the connection.
Bullshit
"Okay stop flirting," Lucas rolls his eyes at my comment and drives to a parking spot. I walk over with Jenna to our lunch table to meet Kylie where we always do.
"Heyyy hoessss!!" Kylie says with her everyday enthusiasm. I honestly don't understand how she has it. I can barely wake up where she is ecstatic.
We walk towards our classes having to split ways since I have Math and them two have Chem.
I get through a boring math period and make it to lunch. Only to be stranded in the middle of the crowded cafeteria. I make it to our table and see Kylie stand on our table. "Hello everyone! Party at my place on Friday at the usual time!" She yells and I laugh to how I am not shocked at this.
I did not want to go to any party because I just wanted to sit home and binge vampire diaries.
After the very tiring day, I make it to the bleachers to wait for Lucas's tryouts to end. At this point, there was only a little while left since I just hung out at the library for a while on TikTok.
I sit on the bleachers as I see Jenna hand Luke his water bottle and he blushes. They were too cute but too scared, it annoyed me.
After tryouts, Jenna and I wait at the car and we see Lucas walk up to us with someone else, someone I didn't know. He must be new because I new everyone.
"Uh this is Josh, met him at tryouts, he needs a ride from us." He says and I get in the passengers seat. "I'm driving!" Jenna yells and I can see Luke smile. "What you two dating?" Josh asks.
"Yes"
"No"
Me and Luke speak at the same time. "They believe they aren't meant for each other, but all of our families know that they just hiding their feelings," I say and Josh chuckles.
"You seem to know a lot," he says and I roll my eyes.
"Why wouldn't I, I'm his sister and her best friend," I say as he looks at Luke.
"The twin?" He says and Lucas nods.
"But I'm older by 47 seconds" Lucas says jumping a little in his seat.
"Would you drop it, it's not like those 47 seconds gave you more wisdom." I say and Josh chuckles.
"Hey are you my friend or hers?" Lucas says as Josh replies running his fingers through his hair.
"Uh I kinda have to agree with the smarter statement." Josh says meeting my eyes in the side mirror of the car with that smirk.
Shit.
I quickly look away and stare to what's ahead of me. Soon Lucas asks Jenna to switch because he knew the way to Josh's house, causing me to move to the back because Jenna wanted to sit in the front.
For Lucas... of course
We make it to Josh's house but once he goes in, Lucas doesn't drive away. "Why aren't we going home? I have to meet Ian soon!" I yell in anger as Lucas laughs.
"Calm down, Josh is dropping his bag and coming to our house," he says and Josh makes it into the car.
"Hurry up, I don't want to be late," I say as Josh looks over.
"Late for what?" He says and I roll my eyes going on the phone. I didn't want to be late! And if that meant be kinda mean... well so be it.
"Ian, her boyyfriendddd," Jenna and Lucas both speak in a baby voice.
"Hey he isn't my boyfriend, stop that!" I say as they both look back at me.
"Uh really? Your one to talk. Who are two people you ship even thought they AREN'T together," Lucas says and I cross my arms and squish into the corner of the car.
"Okay I deserve that," I say with no further argument. Josh laughs, causing me to smile along with the rest.
