Robert enters the house after being away for a couple of hours doing an interview. I tilt my head back and watch him as he takes off his jacket and comes over to me. He rolls up his sleeves and kicks off his shoes. He pecks my lips and sits down next to me.
"How are my girls doing?" he asks smiling.
"We're good. The little miss has been kicking a lot today" I move my hand over my belly.
"Is she kicking now?" he asks placing his hand on my belly as well.
"No, she stopped when you came in. You must've taken her breath away just like you did with mine" I say and we both lean in to kiss each other.
Our lips move in sync and I let my hands hide in his soft hair. My eyes look deeply into his and I grab his tie gently. I loosen it and he stands there watching me with a smirk on his lips.
"This outfit is really nice" I run my hands up and down his chest.
"I kinda noticed you liked it already" he says proudly.
"I really missed you, and you coming home like that doesn't help" I slowly start unbuttoning his top buttons.
"Honey, are you sure you want us to proceed with that?" he seems to be hesitating.
"Yes, I am. I know I'm almost popping but I can't stand those hormones anymore. We've barely had sex the last few weeks and it's driving me crazy" I sigh desperately.
"I'm sorry, I just don't want to hurt you now that you're more sensitive" he hugs me lovingly.
"And it's going to be around 6 weeks after the birth until we have sex again" I let my head fall against his chest.
He stops hugging me and uses his hands to make me stand up and look at him again. His palms hold my cheeks and he smiles.
"I didn't know you felt this way. I apologise" he says and brings his head lower to kiss my neck.
"You're forgiven" I say playfully.
"Please tell me if you want to stop at any point" he whispers against my skin causing me to shut my eyes in excitement already.
"Come on" he tries to stand up but I stop him grabbing his tie.
"Where are you going?"
"Upstairs, to the bedroom" he says and looks at me weirdly.
"I don't have the patience for that" I pull him down from his loosened tie and he seems surprised.
"Yes, ma'am" he jokes and kisses me.

It's impossible and uncomfortable for him to be on top of me with my huge baby bump so I take the lead and sit on his lap. "What is it? What's going on?" he asks panicked from my reaction.

"I think-I think my water just broke" I say and his eyes immediately get wide open.
