"Step on the fucking gas! Don't even dare to stop on the red light!"
The patient, namely Yan JiaYi, yelled very loudly that it is almost disturbing. For a person who is experiencing heart deterioration, he seems to be very energetic! It makes all the chicken piss on their blood. Who said that dying people have no strength?
The older man could not help but be affected by his blood as he did step on the pedal harder. He watched as the arrow on the speedometer moved towards the right, increasing the number of their speed from the average forty towards sixty. Fortunately, this race against time was done at night or else they could have caused a huge traffic accident.
"So slow! So slow! Even the weakest cyclones are faster than this!" Yan JiaYi complained. "Not enough! Go, go-"
"Stop shouting! What is your problem?" The older man tried to reply calmly. "Did you not know that I could be charged with a crime with what I am doing?"
Counting the violations that had been committing, he could not help but to give off a cold smile. Starting from 'abducting' a patient to running like the flash... he wondered if he could escape the cops through this.
Yan JiaYi thought of the words the other man said. A normal person should feel shame and a bit sorry for the situation but it only made him smile slyly. He visibly showed his satisfaction towards the older man and said very clearly, "Serves you right."
The older man could feel the mockery coming from his voice. The nerves on his head bulged in anger as he prepared his rant when suddenly a bright light came in view. He chocked the words back to his throat as he swiveled the steering wheel hardly. Yan JiaYi was surprised by the appearance of the car on their sight.
Thankfully, the older man was able to successfully avoid contact. Despite their speed, he managed to steer the car sideways before placing it back en route. Both of them look very terrified that the older man lowered their speed until the car stopped to calm his nerves back. Yan JiaYi, on the other hand, saw death for the second time.
"Wha-what..." Yan JiaYi madly pulled over the window on his side and yelled to the other car, "You motherfucker, curse your ancestors! Can't you see that we are hurrying? You almost killed us!"
"Hey, put the window- I said, put the window down!" The older person reprimanded the patient.
It wasn't the other car's fault at all. It was their car that is overspeeding. This kid is just courting death!
Yan JiaYi is not the type to stop fighting until defeated so he struggled to cause more ruckus when suddenly a sound of siren announced its presence. Stopping on their movements, the two gentlemen slowly turn their heads behind to look at the car that they almost collided. On the rear, they could see the familiar white and blue police car...
"We're fucked," Yan JiaYi stated. The old man nodded in agreement.
Some officers walked out of the car wearing uniforms and such. One of them is holding a walkie talkie while the other brought out his notebook. The two men slowly returned their faces forward and took a breath.
Yan JiaYi touched the edge of the seatbelt and tightened it well. The older man clasped the steering wheel tightly, his fingers stretching in a grip. They did not talk with each other but they both understand what the other person is thinking. With the officers already close to their side windows, the older man stepped on the pedal once and skipped a few tens of speed.
What seems to be a lifetime became a minute. The car skidded in front of a modern house. Yan JiaYi did not wait for the car to be properly parked and stormed towards the house. The older man no longer cares about what the patient does and stops the car. He then goes out to look at the house when he noticed that the lights are off.
"Hmmm? There seems to be no one inside," he commented.
However, Yan JiaYi did not listen to his words. He tried turning the knob of the door but it was locked. The older man watches Yan JiaYi search for an object. When he found a metal pipe on the corner, Yan JiaYi held it on his hand tightly.
"Hey, what are you gonna do- Hey!" The older man stopped Yan JiaYi from breaking in. "Are you seriously entering the house like that?"
Yan JiaYi did not listen to him. The youth struggled on wanting to break in. With no choice, the older man took the metal pipe away from his grasp. Now, without the weapon, he wanted to talk with the patient calmly. But who would ever think that he is ready to lunge into the door?
"Hey, hey, what is your problem. He-"
He was stopped by the fierce look Yan JiaYi had. It was wild and dangerous, making his scalp numb. Yan JiaYi is surely still calm but the danger that he exuded makes people alert. His lower lip was swollen from being bitten hardly while his eyes are red from anger. He is nowhere different from a beast.
With gritted teeth, Yan JiaYi answered the older man properly for once.
"That person is being molested right now!"
He did not wait for the older man's permission and broke through the door. The force that he used in breaking the sturdy object makes one question his ability. But the older man has no time to comment. He just followed Yan JiaYi who swiftly made it to the second floor.
Lang Yuan never felt so disgusted before.
He did not know when his consciousness return. He just knows that at this time his body was almost exposed. With only his briefs covering him down, there is nothing else but his bare skin in the open. This made him very sensitive that every touch seems to be amplified many times.
Though, Lang Yuan could at least move his body now. When Dong Wei is busy licking his collarbones, he tried using his weak force and pushes him away. Dong Wei was slightly surprised by the touch but seeing that Lang Yuan is awake made him excited. Now, he could fully indulge the youth in his arms.
"Don't worry, I won't do anything bad," Dong Wei whispered on his ears hoarsely. "I'll make sure that you will feel good..."
Dong Wei placed his knees between Lang Yuan's legs and separated it. He then proceeded on kneading that one part down there making Lang Yuan flinch. Even though it is not consensual, a certain body will surely be affected. This is the body's natural response despite the reluctance.
Lang Yuan could not do anything than to submit. He knows that he could never fight back. With his dignity slowly crumbling, Lang Yuan started crying. The overflowing feeling of hatred and disgust filled his heart as he cried his tears out. He did not do anything bad to deserve this.
Why does the world seem to always make him feel bad?
Dong Wei slipped his hand on Lang Yuan's briefs and pulled the clothing slowly. He stared at the glowing body of Lang Yuan that was filled with his love marks. Soon, this territory down here will belong to him. He will make sure that the mark that he will leave will forever remain-
There is no longer any resistance coming from the youth. His eyes are swollen from crying yet it was already dying. The moment Yan JiaYi saw this expression, his heart was quickly torn to pieces. He could not see anything but Lang Yuan's dead expression-
"YOU PIECE OF TRASH!"
With a force, Yan JiaYi grabbed Dong Wei who was on his back and quickly throw him out to the corner. He launched himself full force as several punches rained unto the naked man's face. His hands were clenched in a bloody mess not stopping on his attacks.
Lang Yuan... that is his Lang Yuan! How dare you try to touch him!
The older person who was following Yan JiaYi witnessed a future crime scene. However, despite the wild beast killing on the corner, his eyes darted towards the figure lying on the bed. That one sight is enough to trigger something within.
He wasn't sure what it was.
A flash of light shined through his eyes. It was just a split second but he seems to see something from it. He suddenly felt dizzy as he supported his body to the doorframe. A pinning pain started to thrust deep on his head making him want to cry. The noises coming from Yin JiaYi's curses didn't help him to feel at ease either.
However, his instincts told him to just hold the young man and take him away from here. This sudden possessive feeling is familiar to him. So, the older man quickly took all the quilt and cover Lang Yuan inside like a baby before embracing him unto his chest.
Lang Yuan suddenly felt secured. It made him look up and see the blurry figure of the older man. He can't see him clearly but he could somehow tell that it was him. It made his heart at ease as he cuddled deep on his embrace. A second later, Lang Yuan is already comfortably sleeping.
Yan JiaYi is still giving Dong Wei punches when the older man called him. He stopped his actions and looks back to see Lang Yuan safely tucked it. The image of the innocent sleeping face made his rage to gradually lower. The adrenaline that flooded his senses was getting flushed out as he felt weakness coming from his limbs. The older man helped him stand up while still holding Lang Yuan.
"Don't go suddenly punching people. What will you do if you killed him?" The older man asked.
"Then let me kill," Yan JiaYi though. He only has a few days left anyway.
"You reckless child, are you not thinking about the consequences?" The older man heaved a sigh. "Let's get out. It's no good staying here. The police are already on the way."
"It's just my revenge," Yan JiaYi humphed. "Afterall, he dared to touch someone-"
The two of them are casually talking on their way out when suddenly a shadow leaped from behind. The older man was quick to avoid the incoming danger but Yan JiaYi exhausted his luck. Dong Wei sneaked an attack from behind, holding a baseball bat attempting to hit everyone.
Yan JiaYi knows that he could not avoid getting injured so he tried his best to block the bat by his hands, holding on it throughout the process. Dong Wei was not able to predict that Yan JiaYi still has the strength to catch the bat but it did not discourage him. Instead, he pushed forward that threw Yan JiaYi to the wall.
The older man wanted to help but he wasn't able to reach Yan JiaYi when Dong Wei swung the bat again. With his strength, he could outwit this rampaging beast but Lang Yuan is currently on his arms. He has no plans on putting the youth down since he knows that Dong Wei will take any chances to steal the boy away again.
This disadvantage made the older man weak as he accepted Dong Wei's consecutive hits on his back.
Yan JiaYi can feel his soul wavering. He felt his hand up to his chest feeling the slow thumping of his chest. The time limit is getting closer, he has to hurry up or else the things that were bound to happen in history will perish. Finally, he was able to understand what happened during that time in the past... this time in the past.
That one point of memory where everything is blank.
He wasn't expecting that he will witness the events in this state. He almost wanted to laugh. Sciences will never be able to believe this play on time. But this made Yan JiaYi at ease. If he was able to reach this conclusion, it means that he was successful.
At least, in this life, he became Lang Yuan's true hero.
Dong Wei is still swinging his bat towards the older man like a madman. The latter is crouching down, keeping Lang Yuan safe on his embrace. He doesn't care about whatever pain he was receiving, or the blood that was pooling out on his face. The most important thing is to keep Lang Yuan safe.
Why... why is he recalling a promise that he never spoke before?
"Why do you people always ruining my plan!" Dong Wei yelled as he hit the older man with the bat in full force again. "All I wanted is to get him. What is wrong with that?"
He was the first one who found Lang Yuan. It is his right to get him first.
Yan JiaYi gradually stood up from the floor then rushes towards Dong Wei. Stopping the senior hitting the older man midway, Jin Wei used his feet to take a good step unto Dong Wei's calves. A loud cracking was heard when Dong Wei shouted in pain. Yan JiaYi wanted to recover the bat but was hit again when Dong Wei managed to hit him.
He was thrown to the wall again but before he could fall, Dong Wei stepped up and placed the bat unto his neck. Yan JiaYi swiftly blocks the incoming object but it didn't stop him from getting chocked. He is already weak so the push that he made is smaller compared to Dong Wei's strength. A little bit more and he will die from suffocation.
"Hehe, you stupid son of a bitch. You think you can seal with me huh?" Dong Wei smirked. "You are just a weak piece of shit."
"You are the trash..." Yan JiaYi said under gritted teeth.
"Trash? Are you not the one who is strong enough to defeat me? Anyways, you will die here and now," Dong Wei used more force than Yan JiaYi could only choke on small gasps of air.
Yan JiaYi struggled but he could not do anything else. He tried kicking Dong Wei off but it only keeps on missing the other man. He needed to find something that will throw Dong Wei away. Out from the corner of his eyes, Yan JiaYi found a familiar-looking sword. He thought that it could take Dong Wei's attention for a while so he didn't think twice before reaching it out.
The moment his fingers touches the object, a light spark was ignited. This little spark then exploded out into a forcefield that pushed the people away. All the humans inside the house were affected by the force as they got thrown away without resistance. They all made it to the floor as their consciousness went out after a second.
