Kathryn's Chambers-
Kathryn is chilling on her sofa with grey tight joggers on, a white cropped jumper and her red slippers. While she is on her laptop looking at the news articles from around the world trying to keep herself up to date on what is going on out there. She has her tv on playing "Mr Brightside" on her spotify. As she is listening to her music her phone begins to ring, she looks at her phone and raises her eyebrows before clicking at who the call may be. She pauses her music and answers the phone.
"Hello" Kathryn greets as she picks up.
"Hello is this Miss Kathryn Carson?" The caller asks her from the other side of the call.
"Yes this is she"Kathryn answers screwing up her face having no idea who was on the other line.
"Hi My name is Cameron Butler, I am, was your parents Estate Agent" Cameron informs her sensing her hesitation across the phone.
" Hi Mr Butler" Kathryn replies not sure what else to say as she sits up properly on her sofa.
"As you are aware your parent's unfortunately passed away meaning you are now the rightful owner of your home in Miami" Cameron shares with her
"Yes i am aware" Kathryn says as she has a sinking feeling inside of her as she is reminded of the night her parents died.
"I wanted to ask what your plans for your house are? I am aware you are currently staying in North Carolina studying" Cameron questions her needing to know everything
"I was thinking of selling the home" Kathryn answers him honestly.
"Are you sure you wish to sell your house? Your family has stayed there for 25 years" Cameron asks her wanting her to be positive about her answer
"Yes i am sure, My parents died in that house. In fact my parents were murdered in the house i grew up in and i don't think i would be able to go back and sleep there again" Kathryn expresses her feelings.
"I'm sure we can get that arranged for you Miss Carson" Cameron assures her
"Thank you" Kathryn replies
"Would you consider buying another home in Miami that you could come back to during summer, Christmas?" Cameron questions her
"I think i would, Miami will always be home and it would be nice to have a place to go to" Kathryn Clarifies the situation for him.
"Do you have any idea what kind of home you would like?" Cameron poses another question at her.
"Preferably a condo in downtown Miami at least two bedrooms" Kathryn replies to him as she thinks more about it
"I will look into available condos and get back to you" Cameron informs her
"Thank you, I appreciate it" Kathryn thanks him with a slight smile even though he can't see it.
"I hope you have a nice day Miss Carson, Again i am sorry for your loss" Cameron wishes her feeling bad that she lost both her parents on the same day.
"Thank you, I hope you have a lovely day too" Kathryn wishes him back before hanging up the call.
She puts her phone back on the sofa and looks at it feeling slightly happy about the call. As much as it hurts her to sell the house she knows it's the right thing to do because who wants to live in a house where your parents were murdered?
Kathryn's Inner Voice-
It's funny how one phone call can change your life and this time it's for good. This time it wasn't someone telling me someone died or some one was in danger. Instead it was just some guy trying to help me with a house. I must say i am rather excited to be selling the house it will be one less thing i have to worry and fear about. A new start and maybe i will take the girls away with me on a girls holiday. I think Alice and Ella would like that, Just some girls time in a hot destination with some lovely looking boys everywhere we turn. I think we need a break from all the drama around here. We all just need a little break from life.
Courtyard- 3.06 pm
Zackery, Dallas and Danny are all sitting at one of the benches in the courtyard taking a time away from everyone else.
"Hey sweet cheeks" Zackery pipes up to one of the girls walking by.
"Hi Zackery"Hannah flirts back with him with a smirk.
"You want to swing by my room tonight?" Zackery asks her with a smirk on his face.
"sure thing, See you there" Hannah agrees before walking away with a grin on her face.
"Dude, Do you ever take a break?"Dallas questions him as he laughs.
"Nah not really" Zackery shakes his head no.
"Maybe you should" Danny suggests knowing how much girls Zackery has been with in the past week.
"I love me some ladies" Zackery blurts out to them both.
"You really don't think before you speak either" Dallas mocks him screwing up his face in disgust.
"It's part of my charm , all the ladies love it"Zackery beams from happiness.
"Or they are disgusted by it but put up with it anyway" Danny jokes with them.
"I've got game" Zackery pipes up to them.
"Just remember her name this time" Dallas suggests to him as he thinks back to a time where Zackery was seeing a girl and kept calling her all the wrong names.
"You're a funny guy" Zackery glares at him
"But don't you ever get bored of it, Hooking up with a new girl each night?" Danny questions him curious
"Not really, I don't have to catch feelings. Pretend like i care about women's shoes or a stupid tv show" Zackery admits to them finding that it's better for him to keep his distance than to get attached to a girl.
"He does have a point, no one really ends up with a broken heart. No one gets killed because of it and once it's over you never have to talk again" Dallas points out siding with Zackery on this point.
"I just want you to be happy man" Danny comments knowing that Zackery hasn't had one of the easiest lives either.
"I know you do man but before Alice decided to take you back you were just like us" Zackery reminds him as he looks around the courtyard at all the girls.
"You're right but then Alice reminded me of all the good things, not having to pretend i don't have feelings. Being able to have a cuddle at night in bed and be open about what you are feeling. Being able to have someone you will always be able to trust" Danny shares with the boys his opinion
"Not everyone can have a relationship like you and Alice" Dallas pipes up thinking to himself how Alice and Danny are like a typical relationship always loved each other and always trusted each other but not every relationship is like that. Not every relationship out there in the world is happy and loving, some are broken and toxic. Some relationships are one sided, you may think you know and love someone but in the end they only end up stabbing you in the back. Not everyone gets to have a love that makes your heart race when you hear them or see them, Not everyone gets to have a love that consumes you and makes you feel whole again. Not everyone gets a love that lasts a lifetime especially not Dallas Andrew Bradshaw.
"One day you boys will eventually meet someone who makes you feel different and then you will understand why i want this so bad for you guys. I know what you guys have been through in your lives and i just want you guys to be happy for once in your miserable lives" Danny expresses to his friends wanting them to be happy for once after seeing them go through every day of each year miserable.
"We appreciate that man but it's not something we can force, it's something that just happens" Zackery reminds him that you can't force yourself to be happy because it doesn't do you any good because inside you are still suffering, Inside you are still feeling pain. That doesn't just go away because we decide that we are going to be happy. Yes thinking positive does help but when all is said and done until you deal with your emotions and the past events it will always be with you.
"Did you guys ever think for a chance we would be friends with Alice again?" Danny smirks thinking about how when they broke up how bad things got between them and how she didn't just walk away from him but she also walked away from Zackery, Ella, Danny and Dallas too.
"After what happened no"Zackery shakes his head.
"I barely knew the girls back then and even i knew after Tommy died she realised what we were doing was wrong and she never wanted to go back to it again" Dallas mentions to the boys what he witnessed
"That's actually so true, you, Alice and Ella barely ever spoke before and now you willingly sit beside them at lunch times" Zackery points out to Dallas and Danny
"I've been here for three years, perhaps it's time to join in on conversations rather than sitting to the side and just listening"Danny shares with them
"This is some strange improvements for you my friend" Zackery points out to him.
"All i'm doing is having a conversation with them, nothing big even then they don't trust me and i don't trust anyone else beside you two" Dallas reveals as the boys continue to look around the courtyard as people walk by.
Kathryn's Chambers- 7.12pm
Kathryn, Alice and Ella walk into her room after supper, Alice is wearing her red tracksuit bottoms, red and black cropped jumper, white sneakers and her hair in a bun. While Ella has on her black tracksuit bottoms her "Spice Gal" black cropped jumper and black and white sneakers with her hair tied up in a ponytail. Ella throws herself onto Kathryn's bed feeling exhausted and done with the day. Kathryn goes over to her wardrobe and throws her trainers into them while Alice goes into the bathroom for a pee.
"God i'm so tired" Ella informs the girls as she yawns.
"Me too, I feel like i could sleep for days" Kathryn agrees with her as she goes over to the sofa and picks up her laptop.
"Is it just me or does the guys seems so much nicer to us?" Ella asks Kathryn confused
"Yeah it does seem a little suspicious" Kathryn agrees with her before throwing the laptop onto the bed avoiding hitting Ella with it.
Kathryn walks past her window and takes a look out of it with her arms crossed, Alice comes out of the bathroom and sees her.
"What's wrong?" Alice questions sensing something doesn't feel right
"It's getting darker out there, more foggy. Soon enough you won't be able to look on out at the town" Kathryn mentions to the girls
"Someone needs to talk to your dad and Greg about it. We are all stuck up in this school unable to leave the grounds or do anything and it's so boring" Ella mentions to the girls
"Definitely" Alice agrees with her
Kathryn walks away from the window and walks over to her bed, she pulls the duvet cover over and crawls into it.
"There is so much we need to talk about" Ella pipes up as she decides to get under the duvet as well.
"Move over" Alice says as she kicks off her shoes and climbs onto the bed and getting into the duvet between the two girls.
Kathryn passes them the remote so that they can put on whatever they want on the tv.
"We've not really had much girly time the past few days so fill us in what has been going on?" Ella pipes up as she puts friends on the tv.
"Yeah what's been going on with you and Danny?" Kathryn questions her
"We want all the details" Ella pipes up with a smile on her face.
"He asked me the other night to be his girl"Alice replies to the girls
"So you're official?" Kathryn asks her wanting to be clear
" Yes we are" Alice nods her head as she watches the tv
"It's about damn time...but please just don't do the pda"Ella begs of her screwing up her face. When ever she walks through the halls of the academy she holds in how revolted she is at the sight of everyone making out and been well cringe and cheesy.
"Hell no, I was never that girl" Alice agrees with Ella hating public display of affection too especially when people take it too far.
Kathryn opens up her laptop and sees images of Miami Condo's that the Real Estate manager sent her to look at.
"Do you guys want to go to Miami?" Kathryn asks the pair knowing how much they want to get away
"What?" Alice asks confused
"You know for spring break and Summer, Do you guys want to go to Miami?" Kathryn offers the girls considering she is about to buy a new condo.
"Is that even a question, Of course" Ella blurts out in excitement at the idea
" It would be so nice to get out of this school" Alice approves of the idea feeling thankful
"But i thought you were selling your house?" Ella mentions as she looks at Kathryn confused
"Yep but i'm buying a new one that has room for you guys to come stay" Kathryn grins at them.
"I seriously can't wait. Girls trip" Ella shouts out feeling happy about the idea.
"Spring break can be a girls trip and summer we can invite the boys so they aren't stuck here either" Kathryn suggests to the girls.
"I think they would like that" Alice agrees with her nodding her head.
"None of us has actually went on holiday since we got here, always stayed for summer and our parents those of us who still have theirs never wanted us to come home" Ella admits to Kathryn what usually goes on.
"Well from now on we can all just go to Miami" Kathryn smirks at them, she looks at the girls and can't help but wonder how lonely they all must have felt spending all their time in the Academy. I don't know what i would have done if my family told me they didn't want me to come home for spring break.
"Girl have i ever told you that you are my best friend and i love you" Ella comments feeling thankful that her friend is willing to take her to Miami for a holiday to get away from the school.
"I love you girls too" Kathryn expresses to them feeling happy to have them.
"We were going to look for dresses for the ball" Alice mentions getting excited thinking about it
"Let me look some up" Kathryn says as she googles "Prom Dresses".
"I seen a gorgeous pink ball gown earlier on today which had diamontes all over it. I'm not sure i'm going to get" Ella mentions to the girls trying to find the picture of the dress she had seen
"I originally thought about wearing green, just a slim plain long green dress" Alice shares with the girls what she was thinking.
"I don't know what colour i would go for perhaps purple, I think i would look good in purple" Kathryn hesitates feeling unsure.
"Just no one do yellow or orange, it will not look good with your skin colour especially if you decide to put on fake tan" Ella advices the girls knowing it would be a big mistake.
"Good shout" Kathryn replies as she looks at Ella with a slight face of shock not having thought of it herself
"Have you heard from your mum since she cured you?" Alice questions Kathryn feeling curious
"No, but then i haven't left the school grounds so i haven't exactly given her a chance" Kathryn answers shaking her head
"I feel so conflicted about her, one minute she is trying to kill you and the next she is saving your life. Personally it doesn't make sense to me" Ella mentions trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
"Either do i, I feel like i need to find a way to talk to her but i'm not willing to put myself or any one else in danger in the process" Kathryn shares with the girls feeling very conflicted about the situation
"That is probably the smartest thing i have heard come out your mouth" Alice points out to her in shock
"I have a problem where i put my life on the line no questions asked and i would do it for anyone. Even a stranger, If it was for my friends i would give myself over in a minute but i also know that no matter what i do right now there is still going to be a fight that we have to prepare ourselves for" Kathryn explains to the girls on her thought process.
"Do you not think ever since professor Thornton died everything has been pushed under the rug like nothing has happened. None of the teachers talk about it, it's like everyone is too afraid to ask questions , people won't even go near the school gate in case they get staked" Ella highlights to the girls how quiet things have been around the school even within themselves.
"It's true, it's like everyone has forgotten about it" Alice agrees with Ella feeling worried about what is going on.
"Tension is running so high through the school, fights everyday all over the place, no one seems to trust each other. It's driving people crazy" Ella make a point on what is going on and it is all being dismissed.
"Something definitely isn't right around here" Kathryn Acknowledges that things in school are just as bad as what they are outside of the gates.
The girls hear noises outside of Kathryn's bedroom door and look at each other confused.
"What the hell was that?" Kathryn pipes up after getting a shock from hearing a loud bang.
"Considering these rooms are sound proof it must be something bad" Alice replies as she throws herself out of the bed and opens the door.
Kathryn and Ella see two people fighting, they leap over to Alice to see what is going on when they realise who is fighting. Jesse has his arms wrapped around Wilson Hartell's windpipe restricting him from air. The girls run over to the boys and attempts to stop them.
"What the hell" Kathryn shouts as she runs over to Jesse and Wilson.
"We have to stop them" Ella mentions to the girls knowing it is the right thing to do.
"Or we could just leave them too it" Alice suggests as she stands at the bedroom door with her arms crossed finding the fight amusing.
Kathryn and Ella both give Alice a little glare before Alice and Ella get behind Jesse and drag him off Wilson. Kathryn helps Wilson up off the ground who is holding onto his throat.
"You're insane man" Wilson shouts at Jesse in a rage.
"You want to see insane" Jesse threatens him as he throws Alice and Ella off of him and half down the hall.
Jesse storms for Wilson in a rage, Kathryn stands in front of Wilson willing to allow herself to get hurt.
"Back off Jesse, You don't want to hurt him" Kathryn warns him getting pissed off at him.
"You think you can stop me" Jesse mocks her as she grabs her wrist and throws her the opposite direction of Alice and Ella. He walks over to Kathryn and shows his fangs at her, his face screws up and he draws closer towards her neck getting ready to take a bite, He sits on top of her so that she can't move and puts one of his hands half on her face and half on her next pinning her head to the left side so that she can't move. Kathryn stares at the wall in fear not knowing what he might do to her.
"Please don't" Kathryn begs him her face covered in fear.
Alice and Ella run over to Jesse prepared to snap his neck knowing it may not kill him but will knock him out for a few hours to let him calm down. Wilson gets the jump on Jesse distracting him from Kathryn's pulsing vein as the tip of Jesse's fangs pierce her skin. Jesse hits Wilson a couple more times before Alice and Ella grabs a hold of him and throws him against the wall. He pushes them off him and runs away in a flash from them.
"Son of bitch"Kathryn yells at him angry before she helps Wilson up off the ground.
"I'm going to rip his head off" Ella explodes only seeing red from anger.
"Did he seriously just do that?" Alice asks feeling disgusted and shocked as small amounts of blood comes out of Kathryn's neck.
The girls helps Wilson into Kathryn bedroom and sit him down on the sofa. Kathryn runs into her bedroom and grabs a washcloth and fills a bowl with warm water. As she is filling the bowl of warm water she looks in the mirror and sees the blood from her neck and wipes it away with a tissue like nothing happened.
"I swear to god if i see his face again" Ella begins to threaten as Kathryn steadily makes her way over to Wilson with the bowl and wash cloth.
"Calm her down before she does something she is going to regret" Kathryn instructs Alice seeing how angry Ella was. Alice sits Ella on the bed and stands in front of her.
"You're angry we get it but you can't kill him under any circumstances" Alice tells her shaking her head.
Kathryn takes the cloth up to Wilsons face and begins to clean the blood away.
"I know" Ella snaps trying to calm herself down.
"We should really take you to the hospital to get checked out" Kathryn suggests to Wilson
"I appreciate your girls help but i will be fine" Wilson assures them as he stands up off the sofa.
"No, we are taking you to the nurses. You may say you are fine but better safe than never" Alice refuses to let him leave their room on his own.
"How do you girls feel about a sleepover tonight to make sure none of us attack the idiot" Kathryn suggests to the girls knowing that with the kind of anger they are feeling they would do anything.
" Are you girls okay? Any of you hurt?"Wilson worries about the girls.
"We are fine, we heal" Alice clarifies to him her and Ella is fine. They look over at Kathryn as they think about what Jesse was about to do to her.
"I'm fine" Kathryn nods her head
"You guys literally flew across the corridor and you are telling me it didn't hurt?" Wilson reminds them as he replays the moment in his head
"We have been through worse "Kathryn laughs knowing that even a strong vampire hit isn't going to stop her.
"Now you have been cleaned up, you don't look half as bad" Ella compliments him feeling bad that Jesse attacked him.
"If only i knew how to heal myself then things would be much better" Wilson replies to the girls feeling frustrated with himself and his vulnerability.
"Why exactly were you two fighting?" Kathryn questions him as she takes the bowl of water and washcloth back to the bathroom.
"I was coming back from the library and he just started hitting me" Wilson reveals to the girls what happened.
"You didn't say anything?"Alice asks him as Kathryn walks back out of the bathroom
"Do anything?" Ella joins in with the questioning
"No nothing at all, I didn't even look at him" Wilson confesses to them both as she looks in Kathryn's standing mirror as his cuts and soon to be bruises
"That boy has fallen off the rails and this time i won't be there to pick him back up. He has took it too far" Kathryn assures the girls having enough of his behaviour towards them all.
"Let's get you to the infirmary" Alice suggests to the girls.
The girls leave their phones in the room and only grab the bedroom keys before heading out. Alice and Ella stood at either side of Wilson incase he needed to hold onto them for support.
"You took one hell of a beating" Alice points out to him feeling disgusted
"Yeah well he had laid a good few punches on me before you guys came out of the room, If it wasn't for you guys i would have been in worse shape" Wilson thanks the girls feeling grateful for the timing of them coming out of the room to help him.
"There is one thing i have never agreed with, a vampire attacking a witch. Jesse knows all your weak spots especially because he knows you have only basically started training this year and aren't as strong as others" Ella addresses the subject feeling mad
"Normally i'm able to fight back but i just couldn't concentrate"Wilson confesses to the girls feeling stupid and weak.
"Under those circumstances most people just want to get out of there, don't blame yourself" Kathryn attempts to make him feel better.
" I wasn't good enough" Wilson repeats to himself feeling useless and stupid
" Just means you have to train harder" Alice defends him knowing that it isn't easy getting to grips with your power/ gifts.
"When this gets out i'm going to be the laughing stock" Wilson implies to the girls knowing what is coming
"Not if we can help it" Ella informs him willing to beat the crap out of any one who says anything wrong against him.
Minister Isaac and Angelicas Chambers- 9.48pm
Minister Isaac is laying in bed getting ready to go to sleep while Angelica is standing by the dresser applying her lotion to her arms.
"I'm so glad you let me meet Kathryn, she is an incredible girl" Angelica thanks him feeling grateful to have met her after waiting so long .
"She is an incredibly strong girl, Could you imagine having to go through as much as she has" Minister Isaac pipes up to his wife feeling proud and guilty for her.
"She's a survivor, that's what we do. We keep on going" Angelica replies to him with a smile
"That you do" Minister Isaac smiles back at her
"I have so many plans for me and Kathryn in the future. It's going to be great" Angelica informs her husband as she walks over to the bed and gets in and lays on her left side
"I think you two are going to get on like a house on fire" Minister Isaac expresses to her
"Something like that" Angelica replies with a sadistic smile on her face
Minister Isaac turns off the lamps in the room and cuddles into his wife.
"Good night pumpkin, i love you" Minister Isaac says to him wife giving her a kiss on the shoulder
"I Love you too" Angelica says still having the sadistic smile on her face before she too turns off her lamp.
