I finally got some sleep which is actually very nice. there might be a chance where I'll update a few more chapters over the weekend because writing is literally the only thing that distresses me. also reading your guys comments makes me laugh which makes me lose some of my stress :)
also a huge thanks to each and every one of you guys. I know I have said this before but I didn't think my book would be a huge hit. I just wanted to thank you all so much for voting, commenting, and loving this book just as much as I love writing it. I do look at your comments by the way! "is y/n almost ready?" a staff member asks.
"almost just adding the finishing touches" your makeup artist says.
you were apart of nct dream and today you guys were about to head into a room to do a valentines asmr. all of you were excited since it's been a while since you guys gotten to do anything.
"okay you're good" your makeup artist says, you nod and got off the chair.
"okay boys plus y/n, please head to the table where the mic is placed!" your manager shouts, the boys and you all scatter to the white table where the microphone was placed with other materials.
"where's Chenle?" the manager asks, all of you looked at each other and shrugged.
"im here! im here!" Chenle screamed while waving his hand. he came running through the huge group of staff members.
"Chenle stop running your gonna fall" Jaemin says, Chenle ignored him and continued to rush towards the table. right before he gets the table, he trips over a camera cord and falls.
"I told you" Jaemin says while the rest of you burst out into laughter.
"alright enough messing around" the manager sighs. the boys let you sit in the middle. Renjun and Jisung on either side of you while the rest stood up. your manager explained everything that you all needed to know.
"hey, whoever loses will have to get tickled and have to buy us dinner. deal?" Jeno raised a brow as he stared at everyone.
"deal" you all say.
"we're starting!" a staff says.
"what does it say to do?" Donghyuck whispered as he placed a hand onto your shoulder. Jisung hands you the cardstock paper that had writing on it.
"it says, the first mission is to crumple aluminum foil quietly and attempt to toss it into a garbage can in front of you. you must go one at a time, if you end up getting loud, you fail the mission. at the end of each mission you don't get the prize" you whisper loud enough so the boys could hear.
"but aluminum foil is loud" Jisung whispered, Jaemin gave him a 'no duh' look.
"who wants to go first?" Renjun asked, everyone gave each other glances.
"here I'll go then" Donghyuck walked to the end of the table where the aluminum foil was. he tried to pull it slowly making sure it wouldn't make any noise. all of you stared at the screen in front of you which had numbers on it. the screen tells when you are too loud, as of right now, it was only at 340. if you get too loud, it rises up. when the numbers turn red, that means that you have lost the mission. the numbers only turn red when it is too loud.
Donghyuck slowly tried ripping it until he accidentally rips it harder than he wanted to. all of you panicked and looked at the screen where the numbers have turned yellow, which meant that it was slightly loud. you let out a sigh while Donghyuck started to crumple the aluminum foil.
"you're too loud!" Jaemin shouted in a whisper.
"shush!" Chenle shushed him loudly, Renjun kept looking at the screen. everyone else was too focused on Donghyuck slowly crumpling the aluminum foil.
Donghyuck finally crumpled it well enough to the point where he can actually attempt to throw it into the trash. after he finished, Jeno went next. Jeno did everything carefully. almost everyone has finished the mission. all that was left was Chenle and you.
"I'll go next" Chenle volunteered. Chenle walked to the end of the table and started to pull out the aluminum foil slowly. he noticed all of you were staring at him that's when he started to burst out laughing.
"chenle!" Renjun whispered loudly. Jaemin shook his head and sighed. you let out a little groan.
"please Chenle were so close" Jisung begged, Chenle continued to laugh. his laugh slowly became loudly and then he ripped the aluminum too loudly which made the screen turn red.
Renjun and Donghyuck quickly got up to attack Chenle, while you, Jeno and Jisung let out a desperate sigh as Jaemin banged his head on the wall.
after everyone has calmed down, you all started to read off the paper for your second mission.
"it says, in this mission each person will take a lie detector test. each person cannot lie, if one person lies, you have to start over again" Jisung explained.
"that shouldn't be that hard" Jeno muttered. a staff comes along and puts a lie detector on the table right in front of all of you.
"I'll go first" Jeno rolled your his sleeves and tugged on the collar of his shirt. you got up and stood so he could sit down. he placed his hand on the lie detector.
"someone has to ask him a question" Jaemin says.
"yah jeno, is it true....that yesterday when you said you were gonna use the restroom, you actually just went to make a tiktok?" Renjun asked.
"Jeno makes tiktoks?" Jisung asked.
"I never knew that" you muttered, Jeno rolled his eyes.
"I don't" Jeno says. the lie detector took a few seconds before the light in the detector turned green meaning that it was true.
"y/n, you go next" Donghyuck says, Jeno and you replaced seats. you put your hand on the detector getting ready for whatever question was gonna hit you.
"y/n, a few days ago when you went to go to the store, you actually went with mark and went on a date right?" you curiously looked at a smirking Jaemin.
"I wasnt in a date with mark, where'd you even get that idea?" you asked.
"just answer the question loser" Jaemin chuckled, you rolled your eyes and answered.
"no" you say. you suddenly felt a shock through your hand which made you scream and flinch. the numbers turned red.
"so you were on a date?!" Jeno shouted loudly.
"Jeno shut up! we're gonna lose!" Renjun shouted.
"we already lost!" Jisung pointed out.
"oh my god" Donghyuck face palmed himself.
"I want some chicken" Chenle randomly says.
"I didn't go on a date with mark!" you shouted, Jaemin laughed while Jeno took out his phone to call mark.
"mark!" Jeno says.
"yes Jeno?" Mark asks.
"you and y/n went on a date right?" Jeno asked.
"yeah, did she tell you guys? I didn't think we were gonna tell anyone, that's what she said" Mark says.
"oh my god the cameras! cut the cameras!" Jisung shouted as he jumped in front of the cameras that were filming.
"Mark I didn't tell them!" you shout and took the phone.
"aha! no wonder I saw mark sneaking out of your room a couple of nights ago!" Jeno points at you.
"cut the cameras! deadass!" Jisung shouted again.
"what the hell is happening" Renjun questioned.
"woah woah, you went and took y/n out on a date but when I asked if you could drive me to the mall, you said you were busy!" Donghyuck took the phone out of your hands.
"yoLo! just a reminder everyone, go follow my new YouTube account! I post Minecraft videos!" Chenle happily says towards the cameras.
"well hyuck, shes my girlfriend and that day was the only day where we could celebrate Valentine's Day, we only had the one day to go out on a date because my schedule is super busy. man I hope you understand—"
"y/n's your girlfriend?!" Jeno shouted loudly.
"and we'll be right back on Disney channel" Renjun awkwardly smiled before Jaemin turned off the camera.

"hi we're back" Jaemin whispered into the mic and waved.
"we're gonna do our last mission and we're actually gonna win this time" Donghyuck says while everyone nods.
"read off the last mission" Jeno mumbles, Renjun grabs the paper from the staff.
"the last mission, we'll play a game called silent telephone. a staff will have a writing on it, the first person will read it off and then turn to the second person. you cannot speak the word, only use your mouth. if you speak it out, you automatically lose. when you lose, you don't get the prize and you all get to treat the staff by buying them dinner" Renjun reads off the sheet.
all of you got to your positions. Jaemin was first, then Donghyuck, then Jisung, then Jeno, then you, Chenle, and then in last is Renjun. the staff tapped on Jaemin's shoulder so he could look at the writing. on the paper it said 'house'.
Jaemin nodded and turned around to tap on hyuck's shoulder. Jaemin mouthed out the words slowly so he could understand. Donghyuck looked clueless. Jaemin mouthed the words again and then tried to make a house with his arms. Donghyuck immediately understood and turned around to face Jeno. as the word went on, it was Chenle and Renjun's turn.
Chenle mouthed the word 'roof' instead of house, and then showed the image that you showed him. Renjun scratched the back of his head and watched Chenle do it one more time before turning around to face the crowd of staff members. the you and the rest of the boys all stared at Renjun who looked like he was uncertain.
"say your answer in, 3, 2, 1"
"house?" Renjun asked uncertainly.
"no!!" Chenle shouted, Jaemin, Jeno, and Donghyuck looked at Chenle.
"it was roof!" Jisung shouted.
"no it wasn't, it was house" Jaemin says.
"no, it was roof!" you say, Jeno grabbed the paper from the staff and held it up.
"please read the sign you ding dongs" Jeno waved it in the air.
"oh we got it right!" Chenle shrieked loudly with joy.
"alright before we go, we should all say something flirty since it is Valentine's Day!" Jaemin suggested, the others shrugged and nodded.
"jaemin go first, since you suggested it" Jeno nudged him.
"even if there was no gravity left on earth, I'd still fall for you" Jaemin gives a little kiss to the screen. Donghyuck and Renjun pretends to gag, Jaemin rolls his eyes and push the two. Renjun laughed and went up the camera.
"there's nothing sweeter than the beauty of your face" Renjun gave a little chuckle before blushing.
"after all this time, I thought happiness started with a 'H' but I just figured out that it actually starts with U" Jeno giggles.
"you're pretty and im cute! together we'd be pretty cute!" Chenle smiled hugely.
"may I borrow your phone for second? I would like to call taeyong and tell him that I finally met the person of my dreams" Jisung blushed and ran away.
"hyuck come say your flirty line" Jaemin says.
"hang on im looking one up!" Donghyuck said loudly. he finally finds one and quickly heads to the camera.
"oh, you have something on your face. wait, it's just the most beautiful smile I have ever seen" Donghyuck let out a chuckle.
"y/n it's your turn to say something flirty~" Chenle cooed out, Jeno shoves you to where the camera was.
"uhm well...." you stood there thinking about what you are gonna day.
"[insert something flirty or a pickup line idk. if you don't want too, then you don't have too!]" and then everyone clapped.
"wait what's our prize?!" Chenle shouts. all of you gather in front of the staff to get your prize. a staff member comes out with something green and round in her hands.
"what is that?" Donghyuck squinted to see it better. you opened your arms as she put it in your arms.
"our prize is a watermelon?" Jisung questioned.
"you're welcome!" your manager gave a happy smile.
"what are we gonna do with this?" Jaemin raised brow.
"give it to y/n's boyfriend" Jeno mumbles.
"wait—what were the other prizes?" Donghyuck asked.
"if you guys have won the first game the prize, would have been a new flat screen tv since you guys were complaining about how the one right now was too small. then the second prize was tickets to hawaii for a few days to have fun since we know that you guys are bored" the manager says.
"chenle!!" Donghyuck shouted.
"wait hey, y/n's at fault too!" Chenle shouted out and pointed at you.
"im here! im here! where's the fire?!" Mark suddenly bursts onto the set.
"the fire?" Jisung curiously looked at him.
"Mark why are you here?" you asked as Mark was breathing irregularly.
"j-jeno told me there was a f-fire!" Mark huffed out.
"yeah I lied butttttt—" Jeno took the watermelon from your arms.
"look what we got you!" Jeno smiled and held it up.
