This chapter will relatively short as its just gonna be Augustine fighting Delsin so it'll rather short.
Previously....
The bystanders gasped as they never expected her to actually hit him. Delsin turned around to face her and sighed. He then pushed her hard to the ground as he was beginning to walk away but Sero stopped him with tape. "Hey, just what the hell are you-". Delsin pulled the tape he had on him and grabbed Sero by his neck. "Leave me the hell alone! Go back to your bus but I will be staying here....". He said. He let go of Sero and let him run back to grab Yaoyorozu and head out. Yoarashi stayed back a bit as he stared at Delsin's back as he walked off. 'I know I said I wanted to fight you as you were very brave and crazy strong to fight such powerful foes and win but..... I don't want to fight the current you, as this you, has no honour. For that, I cannot respect you!' he thought as he moved on with the rest.
With Augustine, she's having a feild day. She just beat those losers, Gang Orca and Ms. Joke, who honestly weren't even much of a threat. Gang Orca was just a brute with hypersonic waves which she was immune to thanks to her ear plugs she always had in. Then Ms Joke was a fitting name for her as that's all she was, a joke. Her power was basically telling jokes which, again, she couldn't hear thanks to the plugs. So she was easily dealt with. Now onto bigger and better things. Eraserhead and Vlad King.
"Hopefully, you two can give me a challenge at least?" she said in a teasing tone. "Unlike, you pathetic friends here...." she said glancing at their beaten bodies. Aizawa frowned as he watched her. "What do you want?". Augustine smiled. "I come from the same group as Bloodmania so isn't it obvious what I want?". The two heroes looked at her in great confusion. "What I want is....". "Stop!" Delsin said as he entered the area in a flash. "..... Right in front of me".
Now!!!!
Delsin faced Augustine in an very chilling sense that made her flinch. They were cold and it was like he was visualizing her skinned being peeled off with just his sharp glare alone. 'His eyes..... It's like his brother's eyes' she thought as she cleared the nervousness out of her system. "So, you're Delsin Rowe huh? Your brother sends his greetings....". Delsin clenched his teeth in anger. "You bitch...." he said. Aizawa jumped in, grabbing his shoulder. "Delsin, stop! Get out of here! Your class is leaving so go join them. Leave this to us!".
Vlad King nodded. "He's right, kid. This woman will tear you to shreds, get out of here. Leave this to the pros!" he said as he exerted blood from his body, creating a nice sharp axe. Augustine raised an eye brow. "Funny. That looks a lot like Bloodmania's quirk but watered down. He could use other people's blood and create things with it, he could even steal quirks from their DNA". she looked over at Rowe and smirked. "You know what I mean, right Delsin?".
Delsin frowned in anger. Vlad King ran in with his axe. "Eraser, go and get that kid on the bus! I'll hold her off!" he shouted as he ran in to counter her but Augustine looked unimpressed at his movement. When Vlad went to slice her in two, she swiftly moved to the side with a shift of her feet and watched as he swiped at air. He growled, moving to engage her again but it proved futile as Augustine wasn't even raising a hand to fight him.
Vlad just kept trying to slash her but remained unsuccessful. He then threw his axe at her but she side stepped it. Vlad smirked as he made the blood axe to disburse and become large drills that came back in a fast pace. Augustine looked back in shock. She began to run away from the blood drills and she began to glow yellow and suddenly merged with the ground. The three looked shocked at that discovery. "She can travel underground?!" Delsin said shocked. "It must be how she was able to sneak in the stadium, there's too much heroes and security measures to allow villains in here".
"Except she's not just any ordinary villain, Mr. Aizawa. She works with my brother. By that alone, she's not to be underestimated". Vlad King frowned as he glanced at thee ground. "Yeah no kidding, stay on your guard, there's no way to tell where she's gonna-". ".....pop up?" Augustine said out of no where, standing right behind Aizawa and Rowe. The two turn around in shock that she was behind them. 'What the-' The two didn't have time to even finish there thought as Augustine moved so quick. She punched Delsin in the face with a concrete infused fist that launched him into wall.
Aizawa moved to activate his eyes to cut off her quirk but she was a step ahead and grabbed some dirt to throw in his eyes. Aizawa didn't have his eye guard on so the dust him him right in the eye, getting him to close his eyes from it. She used that opportunity to kick him back while summoning concrete to encase him in it, covering his whole body. Vald King cursed but soon was pierced with a concrete drill in his abdomen, literally being pinned to the ground. Vlad howled in pain as he tried to pull it out but Augustine jumped on the drill, looking down at the poor hero.
"Awwww look at you, you poor weak soul. Heroes like you are so cliché. Fighting me, knowing you have no possible way of defeating me, you stupid fool" she said as she got off the drill. She scanned the area and found her main interest into being here. Delsin broke free from the wall and shook his head. "Damn that girl can sucker punch....". Augustine sighed as she looked at him. "You know, really. I don't know why I keep overthinking things. I thought you'd be more of a challenge, like your brother...". Delsin glared at her hard. "Don't compare me to him. I'm nothing like him!".
She sighed. "Sure you're not! You're gonna hide the fact that you made your way out here when you could have retreated to face me? You're looking for him aren't you?". Delsin remained silent, which only confirmed it. "Well, hate to disappoint but he's not here. He thought it best that I scope this one out for myself" she gloated with a sigh, looking at her hands in a professional way. Delsin smirked. "Too bad, if he was here, I was hoping to beat his ass too but I guess you'll suffice". It was then that Delsun activated Bestial Mode, watching as his body glowed in raw power.
The concrete woman widen her eyes in surprise. "What? You think you can take me on?". Delsin smirked. "Lady, I faced worse, you will be a breeze" he said as he charged at her with great speed that surprised her. Delsin, once near her, sent a devastating left hook but she dodged it. 'He's fast.... And if the air force he just created when he punched it was anything, he's hella strong. I can't afford to let him hit me, it'll be game over if he does' she thought before jumping back. She new that if she engaged him hand to hand, she wasn't winning this due to his strength.
One punch and she was out and if what Alex said was true, the boy wasn't lacking in technique either so she wouldn't risk it. Delsin frowned as she started to go back underground but he neon sprinted to her and caught her by her hand. "You're not going anywhere!" he cried out but soon his body began to burn as he held onto Augustine's hand.
It was like his body was burning, like his cells in his body were being fried. He looked at her with his eyes and somehow, he was able to see her memories. He saw mainly the important ones, like when she first awakened her quirk, where she's from, how she ended up like this. Basically, her whole life story. When the weird fusion between the two ended, the two were launched in opposite sides of the yard. He groaned in a bit of strain as he got up. "W-What the hell was that?" he asked out loud as he got up from that. He looked up to see that she too, was confused. Delsin frowned. "What the hell did you do to me?" he asked. Augustine glared at him with hate. "Funny, I was gonna ask you the same thing!" she said as she stood tall. She channeled her power as the ground began to break apart into tiny pieces. It began to spin around her like in atom sphere.
She then started to float and the air around her began to tense as her glare pierced him. She really meant business now. Delsin raised his hand and tried to shoot her but his powers didnt activate. Delsin widen his eyes. "What the hell?! My powers?! What happened to my powers?!" he cried out. Augustine smiled. "Well isn't that sad, right when I was getting serious" Delsin sighed. This was gonna be ugly. He had to be extremely careful now or he was honestly toast. Maybe he should've listened to Momo. 'Momo.....' he thought sadly. He was so rough with her earlier, why did he do that?
He shook his head. He couldn't get distracted right now, his life was on the line. But if all the times to feel regret for what he's done, now was the best time because he might not live after this to get the chance to. Vlad King, who was still conscious surprisingly, shouted. "Run, Rowe-San, RUN!". Delsin heard that loud and clear and ran as fast as he could. Augustine chuckled. "Awwwww, like that's gonna save you!" she shouted as she threw a drill at Conduit Mode user, piercing his leg, causing him to tumble.
"Arggg!" he grunted as he bled from the wound. He felt the concrete blend in with his bones as his body absorbed it, somehow healing the wound. Delsin raised an eyebrow as he stoop as soon as he got shot down, confusing Augustine. "What the hell?!" She said as she created concrete shards that were as thick as dictionaries and launched them at his chest, which hit dead on, causing him to fly back in absolute pain. But the damage he took wasn't as bad as he hoped when her first took the drill attack.
In fact, it only left bruises on his skin. Delsin got up again off the ground and shook himself off. "What the hell?! Normal those kind of attacks would leave me in a mess, despite my regenerative powers. But now my body..... Is more durable then before now...." he said to himself as he raised his hands. Once he did, he saw his hands changed into a concrete like structure. "N-No way....." he said as he looked at Augustine, who had an equally shocked face.
From just a few hits, Delsin had somehow absorbed her concrete and use it for himself. Delsin now had the power of Concrete. He smirked at her. "Oh this is gonna be fun as hell". He raised his hand and looked at her dead in the face a d fired off rounds upon rounds of little concrete shards at her face. But her little concrete force field was protecting her so he really couldn't get a shot in so he needed something stronger. He glanced over to Vlad King and saw the giant like drill and smirked. Augustine saw his little grin and looked to what got his attention and frowned.
"OH hell no!" she said and lunched for the drill to disintegrate it. Rowe also lunged for the drill in hopes of absorbing it. Then and only then would he have the power to fully damage the red headed bitch. They both reached the pinned down hero but Delsin grabbed the drill first, his body breaking down the matter, absorbing it into his body. He could feel himself get stronger. "No!" Augustine said, creating a wave of concrete from the ground to push him away from Vlad. It hit him dead on as he was too focused on getting his fix.
He flew to the other side of the area, grunting as he tumbled. He got up with a slight smirk. He absorbed most of the concrete Vlad had so he was sure he was powerful enough now to end her. Vlad grew unconscious after the whole run situation from too much blood loss but he was still breathing. He had managed to heal him a little bit in the process of getting the concrete out of him but he still needs a hospital.
The concrete woman was angered though. While she destroyed the concrete that was left, Rowe still took the majority of it becoming even stronger than before, pissing her off greatly. But when she saw him run at Aizawa when her back was turned, she had a panic attack. How much can this kid take into his body? Once he got there, He did his thing, taking the concrete off of Aizawa, freeing him. The man fell to the ground unconscious too, he probably couldn't even breath properly in the thing so he barely had any oxygen.
Delsin smiled as he faced Augustine, who was red in the face. She was very annoyed with how this turned out, who knew her boss's brother could absorb her powers like this, it was like he was a black hole when it came to her power. Delsin cracked his knuckles. "Your finished!" he said as he shot a heavy attack at Augustine's shield which hit dead on and broke, causing her to fall out of it and land on the ground.
'He broke through it?! How?! Only Reggie could-'. She was broken out of thought when a foot came flying into her face, knocking her into a wall. Delsin came in, charging his fist in concrete energy, smashed his fist to hit her face but Augustine dodged. He went kick her stomach but she grabbed him and threw him to the side but he basically just rolled to his feet from the momentum she gave him. He threw a punch but she leaned back and grabbed his arm with one hand while bopping his face wither other hand, jerking Delsin's head back from impact.
Augustine kneed his stomach, watching Delsin kneel over, giving her perfect opportunity to create a hammer like object out of concrete by holding her hands together, swinging down and slamming it on the back of his head, bringing his face to the pavement. "Wish to kick ME HUH?!" she said as she kicked him away, giving him the same treatment he gave her.
Delsin only rolled over and ran back at her. "You bitch!" he said as he lunged at her. He jumped at her and flipped over her only to slam her down on the ground with the momentum he build. Rowe didn't stop there as he mounted her and layer punch after punch on her. "You dare come here..." one punch. ".....you threaten my friends...." another punch. "....you nearly kill my teachers....". Another punch. ".....and you have the audacity to compare me to my brother?! I should kill you for this!".
Augustine layed on the ground, bleeding and bruised from the beating she recieved from the boy. 'He really hits hard....' She thought before spitting out blood. "T-T-Then kill m-me then...." she said. Delsin glared at her. "And stoop to your people's level? Hell no! I wouldn't. I'm not you or my brother. But speaking of which, where the hell is he?! What did he send you here for?!". He wanted answers as to why attack a hero license exam.
Augustine smirked with blood staining her teeth. "It's none of your concern! But I will say this, things will get heated up real quick. You think you've beaten me? No this was a warm up, kid. You surprised me, that's all and I'll surrender to you today, my mission is already complete. So you win today but remember: victories come with casualties!" she said. Delsin frowned. "What do you mean by that?!.... My friends?! MOMO?! NEJIRE?! MY AUNT?! TOUCH ANY OF THEM AND YOU DIE! I WON'T HESITATE TO KILL YOU!".
Delsjn had no remorse in his voice or in his eyes, he was ready to kill her if any of those he loved were harmed. Augustine smirked. "Well I didn't harm them..... But you might wanna check on your police friend, that's all I'm saying...." she said. Delsin widened his eyes as he remembered. 'Zeke!!!!!' he thought. He punched Augustine, knocking her out while running to Aizawa, who was waking up from his unconsciousness.
"Uggh what happened?". "Mr. Aizawa! Are you okay?! Did you bring your car?!". Aizawa turned to Rowe with a strange look on his face. "Um.... Yeah... I think I did.... Hey, what are you doing?!" he yelled as Delsin dug in his pants to pull out his car keys. "Call the police! I'll be right back, check on Vlad for me!" Delsjn shouted in the distance as he ran to Eraser's car. Once he made it, Delsin opened tha car and plugged in the keys to start driving.
"Okay.... How do I drive?" he said. He only had 2.3 seconds before Aizawa comes running to the car. He could've asked the man to drive him but the way he knew the man, he was gonna make it seem that Vlad King and the other students and teachers were okay first and right now, he didn't have time to wait, he needed to go. Delsin sighed, he'll just wing it. He wasn't that bad a driver. I mean, need for speed and GTA V are good driving lessons tutorials right?.
He pushed the gas pedal and drove out the parking lot in a great deal of speed, leaving behind a distraught Aizawa, who just caught up to him in hopes of stopping him. "WHY does this kid keep causing me stress?!" he said as he saw him drive off. Delsin was on the road, driving not too crazily, unless you count almost hitting a pedestrian when he was on a curb 'not too crazily' then he was good.
He followed the direction of his phone, tracking Zeke's GPS location. This was one of the things Zeke taught around the time of his week long internship. He can locate people with his phone once he has their number and info, it was one of the things he really admired and valued from him. He was driving, surprisingly not drawing attention from any traffic cops or any type of authority in general and made it to the location.
He saw the crashed vehicle and his heart dropped. "T-T-That's Zeke-s...." he couldn't even finish it. He knew that his mentor was here, hopefully in good condition or in any condition that was at least living. Delsin walked through the path and saw the damaged area. He turned and saw his mentor on the ground, unmoving with blood drenching his lower body. His mouth was covered up in dried blood, telling he died painfully. His chest also hand stab wounds as well, most likely from the same weapon.
Delsin kneeled in the ground, tears leaving his eyes as he sobbed. "No no no no no.....". He pulled Zeke's body close to him, not afraid of getting the blood all over him. He had just met the man today, talking about some weird things. Did he know this was gonna happen? Delsin just kept crying as he looked in his the dull dead eyes of his mentor as he began to rain again. He lifted his head and gave a soul crushing scream. "AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
And...... Done
And that's the end of Augustine vs Delsin and the end of the Provisional license arc. Now, I know some of u were expecting a better fight with Delsin n augustine well sorry to disappoint. I wasn't really feeling that fight. I just used augustine as a means to give Delsin Concrete powers. Her appearance will be very scarce in the future chapters so don't expect a rematch much and honestly, maybe Nix will be the same, who knows. All I know is that Delsin's fight with Reggie and Alex will be better. He will Fight Nix don't get me wrong, but idk if it'll be heat like theirs will be. Anyway, next arc will be a bit different. It will be the Overhaul arc but with some twists as per usual. Maybe some lemons as well finally 😏Hopefully youll keep on reading! Peace!
