"Tanaka Ayame, your turn." Ayame got up, flashed us a smile and skipped over to the other room to get her headband.
Shan sighed. "We worked really hard to get the needed jutsu down for this test."
"I bet." I said indifferently, not really caring. I turned around to stare at Ryuu, "Ryuu, were you able to train?"
He nodded with hidden excitement. "The nurse brought in books when I asked her to, so I trained on the one skill I needed."
This time I nodded and looked back at Iruka, who just walked back in, "Tanaka Naomi." I stood up and walked out, sending a small wave to Ryuu, Shan and Sasuke. My eyes landed on Naruto's, I sent a peace sign his way and walked to the other room.
"Naomi, this is Mizuki-San." The name clicked in my head and I glared towards him.
"I don't care; I'm just here to prove my ninja skills." I replied in a rude tone, Iruka caught on to this and nodded.
Iruka cleared his throat, "Make three clones." I took a deep breath and let it out. Gathered some Chakra and made three clones of myself, and then made them poof.
"Congratulations, you pass. Pick out a headband." I bowed, grabbed one and walked out of the room.
Who would've thought that I could use Chakra? That I'd be in the Naruto world? That I'd be a ninja! It's so, surreal...
I got outside and noticed the parents came to congratulate their children. I looked down, a sudden sadness coming over me. I wonder what my parents were doing, if they were okay... if they worried about me.
I shook those thoughts off, twirling around with my new black headband in hand. "Where should I place it?" I shrugged and tied it around my neck, everywhere else seemed weird.
"I'll wait until I get home to make sure that's where I want to permanently put it..." I groaned, my home was Sasuke's, I can't believe it.
Ayame came running out of the crowd of people; her headband was black and was around her waist. "Naomi!" She yelled as she latched herself to my back and pulled me into a hug.
I gave her a whole-hearted smile, "You passed, Aya-Chan."
"So did you! When did you have time?" She inquired, I shrugged.
"The Hokage gave me a book to train on, so I trained before I went to sleep in a tree." We sweatdropped,
"Yeah, but now you don't have to sleep in a tree." She encouraged.
"Ha, now I have to sleep at Sasuke's." I commented as I hit my head on Ayame's shoulder while she giggled. I also giggled, into her shoulder.
"I'm going to make his life a living hell. I've always wanted to do that." I deadpanned.
She patted my back and sat down. I copied and sat down also. "Or he'll make your life one."
I shrugged, "Could happen..."
Shan came out; it was very slow motion as he walked up to us. Sparkles around him everywhere, his headband was, of course, around his forehead. Ayame and I started laughing like idiots at this, it looked too funny.
"Hey Naomi... Ayame." Shan spat out Ayame's name like it was posion, it only made us laugh more.
"Shan, when you walked over here, and there was this anime scene, and you looked so... yeah, you get the point." I explained once I caught my breath.
His face heated up in embarrassment, "Shut up." He hissed as Ryuu came out and sat next to us, his headband also around his forehead.
Respecting his command, we stopped laughing and grinned at each other. "Hey Aya-Chan, what's it like, having cat ears?" I asked after a minute of silence.
She frowned, "You can hear and smell everything, and it's really annoying." I nodded, understanding completely.
Everyone went back to talking, it seemed like only ten seconds though as he came walking up.
I slammed my head on Ayame's shoulder and started repeatedly hitting my head. "Oh no..." I mumbled. I immediately felt his gaze on me, it didn't leave me once.
"Let's go." Sasuke ordered in his monotone voice.
I opened one eye and pouted. "Fine, see you three later." I gave in and got up, waved to my 'family' and followed Sasuke.
Just so I didn't have to talk to Sasuke, I pulled out my iPod. Before turning it on and completely drowning him out, I looked at him. "I'll need to go shopping."
He grunted but said nothing; I shrugged and turned on my iPod, I decided on 'Love her' by Seether. I quickly changed my mind and turned it to 'Fake it' by Seether, and just to annoy Sasuke, I started to sing.
"You should know that the lies won't hide your flaws, no sense in hiding all of yours. You gave up your dreams along the way, Yeah. Good god, you're coming up with reasons, good god you're dragging it out. And good god it's the changing of the seasons, I feel so raped. So follow me down and just fake it-"Sasuke interrupted.
"What are you doing?" He asked irritably.
I smirked, mission accomplished. "Singing...?" I replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
He glanced at me then walked up the stairs to his house. I followed and waited for him to open the door, which he did and walked in like he owned the place...
Oh wait, he does.
I walked in also; he went into the kitchen first. As soon as he turned around, his mouth wide open as if he was about to talk, my stomach growled. He turned around and stared at my stomach, I did the same.
"Oh right, I haven't eaten since I got here." I told him with a cheeky grin, Sasuke's eye twitched.
"I'll make something, and you'll eat it. No complaints." Sasuke ordered.
"Okay, but no tomatoes or fish." I requested, Sasuke once again grunted and started making the food. I rested my head on my hands and watched him.
I wonder why he said I can't complain, maybe he can't cook well? I'd laugh if he couldn't.
I sat down and noticed he pulled out some rice. Maybe he's making rice balls? I thought as I put my iPod back in my bag.
Few minutes later he slid the plate across the table; I stopped it from falling off and sent him a smile. "Thanks," I picked it up with my hands and started eating. My mouth watered a bit at the taste of food, and his cooking wasn't that bad.
After I was done, Sasuke motioned me to follow him, so I did. I looked at the living room, it was pretty big. A couch, a TV, desks, pictures, books. He then took me up to a door. "So this is your murder room, huh?" I joked; he sighed and opened the door.
It was a decent sized room, a bed, white colored walls, two normal sized windows and one big bay window and a closet. "My room is right across from here." Sasuke told me, I nodded and as he was about to turn, I stopped him.
"I can't sleep with light colored walls, I need to go shopping." Sasuke opened his mouth to protest but I pouted, his eye twitched.
"Fine, come on." He took a sharp turn and I followed, slightly surprised that he gave up that easily.
"I'll pay for it all," He gave me a look the said "Like-you-could." I grinned, "I have 400,000 ryo Sasuke, and I think I have enough."
He sweatdropped, "What store first?"
"Paint store!" I replied, he nodded and we walked there.
We got there, and I was in awe. "So many colors!" there was two sides, light side and dark side. I skipped over to the 'dark side' I picked out black of course, and then I went over to the 'light side' to get gold and then finally went to get a very pretty shiny in between dark and lightish blue color.
I went to pay for it, which didn't cost much. I thanked the man and skipped back to Sasuke. "Done." He scoffed.
"That was fast."
I stuck my tongue out, "Unlike every other girl, I hate shopping." And with that, I walked out with Sasuke.
A ninja suddenly appeared in front of me, I jumped a bit. "Have you... or your... boyfriend? Seen anyone with spiky blonde hair?" The ninja asked hasily.
"Actually, I saw him earl-wait... Sasuke's not my boyfriend!" I corrected.
The probably Chuunin leveled Ninja sighed, "Uchiha Sasuke? Oh... I didn't realize it was you, sorry. You're right; he wouldn't be your boyfriend, you're not worthy. Sorry, now just answer the question."
"Good, you realize tha-wait! What do you mean I'm not worthy?!" The ninja glanced around and twitched in annoyance.
"Just answer."
"No, I haven't seen any blonde boy." I replied and he disappeared. I turned to Sasuke and pushed the bags of paint into his arms. "Go back to your house, I'll be right there." And with that, I ran off.
I knew what forest to go to; I watched this episode way too many times. I got there in record timing, Naruto was behind the tree. Iruka was still pretending to be Naruto and Mizuki was his self.
I walked up to Naruto and embraced him in a hug. "Hey, Naruto, are you okay?" I thought I'd give him a small speech then leave.
"Naomi...? Are you here to call me a monster too?" Naruto questioned, gripping the scroll tighter.
"No, not at all, I don't even think of you as a monster Naruto!" I assured him, and then continued. "I know for a fact that you're awesome and you're going to be a great Hokage." I patted him on the head and then stretched.
"Thanks..."
"No problem! Now if you don't mind, I have a certain Uchiha to annoy, so bye!" And with that, I disappeared and found my way back to Sasuke's house.
The door was unlocked so I just opened it and walked in, shut the door and locked it. I noticed right away that Sasuke was on the couch, sleeping.
I grinned and walked over to him, "Ah, so the Duck Butt does care about people." I knew I wasn't going to get painting done tonight, I had a different plan.
I lifted Sasuke up and dragged him to his room, I put him on his giant bed and I sat there, waiting for the perfect time to wake up the Uchiha.
I giggled. "I love payback."
