Averys POV
"Wanna watch a movie?" I asked Mattia after hearing the front door close.
"No let's go out somewhere. Just walk to my house with me so I can get my car and head out." This was my opportunity to finally spend some time with him alone.
"I like the sound of that. Let me just change." He nodded and stood outside of my door.
"Alright let's go."
We walked to his house, which was a little far. A 15 minute walk might i add. On the walk he told me all about the school I would be attending in two weeks.
"Are you nervous?" He asked if i was nervous about starting a new school.
"No, not as much anymore. At first I was because it meant I had to make new friends but I have you and the boys and I'm fine with that. Like I told you that day at the mall, I'm not good at making friends I don't know how I have you guys." I said with a little nervous laugh. He patted my back.
"It's okay. I'm gonna give you a tour." He said now patting my head like a dog.
"I can't wait." I said with a smile as we start to walk up to his door.
"Okay so I know that you know I like you, and my mom heard me talking to Kairi about it so she might say something. Just a warning." He was so nervous but it was very cute.
"It's all good. And I know you know i...i'm interested? If that makes any sense."
We laugh a little before he opens the door and luckily his mom wasn't around.
"Well I said that for no reason." Mattia said. I giggled at him and followed him to his room.
"Don't come in, its a mess, I wasn't expecting company." He said in a mom voice.
"Haha it's fine." I went in his famous bathroom and fangirled a little when I saw the toilet. How could a toilet make me so happy?
"Okay Av let's go." He came into the bathroom and caught me making a video in there.
"Uh you're doing the dance wrong it's like this." I was trying to do Say so by Doja Cat. I kept messing up at the rolling part.
"Yo you're like Alvaro, he's so stiff." Mattia was laughing so hard he snorted causing me to start dying.
"Oh my god let's just go already." I put the video on private and walk to the front door.
"You have a cute laugh." Mattia said closing it behind him.
"And you have a cute snort." I tapped the tip of his nose and smiled.
"Hey! That was an accident." He was trying to defend himself.
"I just wish i recorded it."
We were now in the car and he started driving.
"Where are we going?" I asked getting curious. He turned up his music ignoring my question.
"helloooo?" I asked turning it down.
"It's a surprise and don't ever EVER touch my radio. I'm the driver." My eyes were popping out their sockets at his sassy side.
"Yes sir." I said looking forward.
He started laughing then turned his loud music down.
"I'm just joking Av. So tell me about yourself. I wanna get to know you a little more." He asks me putting a hand on my thigh.
I took a shaky deep breath in not knowing what to do with this contact. I could feel my whole body get hot and pins and needles in my back.
"I-uh"
"Is my hand bothering you?" He asks taking it away from my skin.
"No not at all. Just caught me by surprise, that's all." I got brave and grabbed his hand putting it back in its previous spot.
"Well okay. I like this." He said making a left turn.
"Okay so I'm 15, um my birthday is November 7th, I love drawing even though i suck, I wanna work in the medical field when i'm older just like my mom. She's a trauma surgeon though so I barely see her.." I said earning a nod from him.
"My father passed away in a drive by when I was a couple months old. My mom remarried about two or three years later to a Cuban man. He's very nice and he taught us spanish. I grew speaking both languages fluently."
"Oh I'm very sorry about your dad." Mattia said all sympathetically. I gave a half a smile and slowly nodded my head.
"I'm done talking about myself, tell me about you. I wanna know who this famous Mattia Polibio is." He chuckled when I said famous.
"My birthday is May 16th, love futbol I'm actually on the school team, I don't really know what I want to do when I'm older."
"Maybe when school starts up I'll go to one of your games." We pulled into a diner not that far from his house. He nodded at my last words and exited the car.
"So is this like a date?" I asked making him get nervous again. This boy is so good looking.
"Not if you don't want it to be." Mattia said while opening the door for me.
"It's a date." I said looking back and sassing him. We walked to an empty table and a waitress handed us a menu immediately.
"Do you and the guys come here often?" I asked. He nodded and started reading the menu. This place looked really nice and family friendly.
"You know ive never been to a diner, ever?" His jaw dropped at my words and he shook his head.
"Well i'm glad I brought you here then. The food here is amazing." A young waitress about our age comes to take our order.
"I'll have a chocolate milkshake and a burger." Mattia said. I still didn't know what to get so i got the same thing.
She nodded and took our menus.
While waiting for our food we spoke a lot and learned a lot about each other. We have so much in common. We're basically the same person.
"Oh when you really get to know me and i'm comfortable around you, I'm the biggest asshole ever. I'm very sarcastic too and my friends hated me for it." He agreed and our food came right on time.
"God bless this meal." Mattia jokingly said putting his hands together. I couldn't help but laugh at him. He caught me by surprise.

"That was a fun date Mattia. I really enjoyed it and had lots of fun today." We were outside of my house now just chilling in his car. He didn't say anything.
"Don't want to leave me dont you?" I asked. He shook his no and started blushing.
"I wanna go to the park!" He said loudly like a little kid. I agreed to his idea and we started driving. I called my parents to let them know I won't be home yet.
"Wow everything here is so close to my house."
"Yeah that's how it is around here. You have a deli around every corner, a park literally everywhere and there's a lot of just open space." He said showing me around.
We walked to the swings and started talking there. The sun was setting causing a beautiful scenery.
"I love watching the sunset. It's so beautiful." I said just taking in the fresh breeze.
"Not as beautiful as you." He said putting an arm around me.
"thank you." I said blushing and looking at him. He smiled and looked back at the sunset.
After a couple minutes of silence, we started talking again.
"Push me" He said. I got up from my swing and started pushing him.
"Hey watch those feet! You almost kicked me." I said. He laughed and I sat in my swing again starting it up.
We left after it got dark outside and ran to the car because 'the last one there is a bumblefuck'.
"How do you run so fucking fast?" He asked out of breath. I couldn't help but laugh at him.
"Track star baby." I got in the car and waited for him to get in.
"I will win. Don't know when but it will happen." He said regaining his breath.
"Yeah okay we'll see about that." I said. The drive consisted of us singing along to Lil uzi and Ynw Melly.
"I GAVE YOU ALL MY ECSTASY" We sang our hearts out to suicidal.
"Ugh i don't want this day to end." I pouted. I took my seatbelt off and turned to open the car door but Mattia stopped me.
"I just want to say that I had a really good time with you today and I think I like you even more but like you said, no rushing into things. But I just thought you should know." I "🥺" at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks Mattia..I-I had a really good day with you too." I blushed getting out of his car and started walking up to my door.
"Goodnight Av!" he yelled out to me when i was at the front door. I waved with literally the biggest smile on my face.
today at school while i was walking to the car i heard a kid say to his friends "now that i'm not a virgin i be craving pussy" like wtf 😭😭
