The boss battle is in two days eh? I guess it didn't hit me that I'll be in another one until now. I don't think any of us are ready, we only had 1 day to prepare, tomorrow we can only get so much done. First, we need to attend the meeting, then we need to buy potions and such. We may not have any time at all to train together.
"That nice of them," Punisher says
"Yea, the meeting starts at 8 am and it usually takes about an hour to finish. Then after we should go to town and upgrade our gear and buy potions." Harry tells us
"I agree," I say, "we need good weapons and armour to compensate our lack of experience in the boss room, and then potions if and when things go south." I finish
"Then the rest of the day we'll be training, we should also get to bed early so we are at our best," Jam says
"Right" Harry agrees
We talked for a while then eventually we went to sleep in our tents.
Before I know it, I was being wakened by Harry.
"Time to go" he whispers
"Ma, ten more minutes," I say starting to tease him
"I'm not no one's ma, get your ass out bed" he continues
"Liz, give me a kiss then I'll get up" I continue teasing
It was quiet for a moment until I finished my little act, "I'm pulling your strings man, I'm up" I say
I look up to see his face red and was extremely close to me
"Da fuc" I yell, "I'm no homo," I say to him
"It's not what it looks like" he protests
"Fuji! You shouldn't be worrying about Liz, it's me he is after!" I yell loudly
Fuji was in there in a flash, she looks at Harry's face and dragged him out. Saved by the mountain I guess. I get all my gear on and leave my tent. I can see Fuji and Harry talking to each other, probably trying to clear up what he just did. As they talked I could see the others getting ready to leave.
"Yo, lover boy where's the meeting at," I ask Harry.
"Fuji, stop------follow me" Harry responds shifting his attention from Fuji to a direction. We walked for a while until we came across a bunch of players in the middle of a field. I made out a few people like Asuna and Kirito. A bunch of people greeted Harry.
"So that's your guild right?" One guy asks
"Yep, sure is" he responds
"They look a little weak for a player like you to be with," Another guy says
"I mean, look at this dude, he doesn't look strong at all," They say while looking at me
"Bruh," I say, "I'd stomp your father in the ground before you could even blink" I continue
This, however, didn't work very well, these guys easily stood a foot taller than me, which meant Harry would have been 2 feet smaller than them. I guess they must have seen him in action because I'm pretty sure I look stronger than him. I look at his axe and metal armour, then at myself with my padded armour and Longsword, you know what I take that back.
"He's not bad," Harry says to defend me
"Hear that boys" I taunt them
"However if you want to crush him feel free," Harry says with an agitated look.
The guys just laugh, "anyway it's nice to see the faces you have told us about in your stories"
"No way you tell them stories about us," Qweep says surprised
"N--no," Harry says embarrassed
I didn't get to tease since the meeting was starting. They sorted party's into areas where they would be most at home at, for example, a tank party, they would keep the boss's attention as others attack it. Eventually, the people who organize the Boss battles came round to us
"Some new faces I see," one of them says
"They are with me, I can vouch for them," Harry says
"Ah, so they are proven, if that's the case I see you have 8 people, so you will have two parties am I correct," they ask
"Yes, the first party can be an attack squad, that will compose Harry, (U/N), Liz and Punisher, then we also have a support team that will be the rest of us," Jam tells them.
"I see you are very organized, you must be the Guild Leader," they ask
"Yes, I am" she responds
"Ah, these teams will work out perfect, we have all the teams now we just need to make a strategy, would you mind if one of you would join us, having insight on your guilds abilities would be very helpful toward planning," they ask
"O, of course, I think Punisher is the best with strategy here," Jam tells them
"Psh, it's not like I'm here," I say sadly
"(U/N) you are great at strategy but your teasing gets in the way of that" Jam tells
"Eh, guess so besides I wouldn't want to listen to boring crap anyway" I respond
Punisher walks back up with the leaders leaving us alone
"Looks like we got time to kill," Qweep says
"Yea," I say
"Go socialize with the other guilds, we need to trust them so that they can come through right?" Jam says.
Everyone went to talk to other people and I just kinda stood there. I've never been all that good around new people, Max was the total opposite. He would ask a total stranger what they thought of the weather. I just don't have that skill.
I started to wonder around, I couldn't help but notice the men staring down the girls in our guild. I guess it's not common to see girls that can actually fight in this game. Most of them are afraid, which is not wrong. There weren't many girls to be in here in the first place and most of them are still on the lower floors. It must be rare they see a female that's not Asuna in a boss battle. I could see Liz talking to a bunch of guys with hearts in their eyes.
I can't blame him, Liz is up there in the look department. Her hair is silky smooth and blue on top of that. Her face is cute and she has a killer body. Honestly, with her white armour, she looks like an angel. I thought I'd do something gruel to the boys drooling over her. I walk up to her and hung my arm around her
"What's up kids," I say with a smirk, I could see Liz pop a smirk of her own, she is onboard.
"A (U/N) I'm having a lovely time with these gents," she says
"Are are you? Well I hope they treat you well in bed" I say as I try to keep my laughter in after seeing their faces
"I don't know, they seem like they would be rough" She insists
"I would never be rough with a woman as experienced as you!" One of them says
I couldn't take it, I crack down laughing and when I do it triggers The laugh Liz had been holding
The guys just look at us with a red face and a confused look
"That's funny, I guess you're experienced," I say to Liz
"No not all, I've never been in the same room alone with a boy," She says
"If you haven't noticed you've been played," I tell the kids
they just look away embarrassed
"Don't worry, I'm sure anyone would have fallen for it, these two are tricksters that are bounded by the hip?" Jam says to them
"How the fuck do you have so many hot girls!" One of them asks me
"None of them are mine you know," I tell the guy. " If you want one your gonna have to woo them" I continue
"Rea--", the guy started to talk but didn't finish
"But that's impossible because these two are hard as rocks" I finish
"I don't like that description," Jam says
"Ok fine, Jammy here is in need of a Punisher," I tell her teasingly
Jam takes awhile to figure out what I meant, then after she has figured it out she turns red.
"Whatever," she says walking away
"Good one," Liz says as we pound it
"But anyway, all of our lady's are taken...find your own," I tell them
"What do you mean taken, yea sure Fuji, Looky, and Jam but I don't feel like I'm taken," She asks
"want me to take you away," I tell her jokingly
"My prince in shining armour," She says
We start laughing again for no reason, when we come back to our senses we see that all eyes are on us.
"You wanna fight," I ask the crowd
Everyone shrugged and went back to their business. The guys Liz was talking to were gone now.
"Ah, man, things were getting good before you came," She says
"I'm sorry I just couldn't watch them drool over you anymore," I tell her
"You jealous?" Liz says teasing
"A little," I say
"What am I Fuji, and who are you, Harry," she says
"I wish," I say smoothly as I grab her hand and I spin her into my chest. I could see her face, it was red as I held her
"Have I cracked your shell?" I ask
"Maybe," she says with a smile
We suddenly get called over as Punisher has finished.
What followed was boring, your typical boss patterns and when to attack and when to switch.
Then after all that, we went to town
