"Blake?" Blair called out, following after him as he began to head back to the bus.

"You wanna go for a walk?"

He bit his lip almost hesitantly as he weighed his options. There were two ways this could play out: he could say yes and get to spend time with the girl who even when he was confused by his feelings for her, put a smile on his face; or he could hold his ground. He could say no and risk losing her for good because he wanted more than what she was offering right now. In that scenario he'd surely only end up hurting.

The options weighed for a moment more before he made his decision, grabbing a jacket before nodding his head yes. Because really, he was a masochist at heart.

"So..." She said after a while, allowing her words to drift off, shuffling her feet as she walked beside him in silence, trying to decide where to go from there.

"So." He said back.

"I'm sorry!" They both blurted at the same time. Blair giggled and the corners of Blake's mouth slipped upwards into the slightest hint of a smile.

"You first." Blake said, nudging his shoulder into Blair's softly as they continued walking beneath the glow of the city lights. He dared a glance over to her and couldn't help but admire the way she practically glowed as the gentle light casted over her.

She took a big breath and blew it out as a sigh. "I'm just sorry that I made things complicated between us. Everything was so good, so nice and then I started overthinking and, I don't know, I guess it just all felt too perfect, too surreal. Like if I screwed it up and let myself enjoy it, it might all slip from my grasp." There was a reverent honesty in her words and immediately there was a sense of relief with that off her chest.

"I understand where you were coming from but you can't think like that, B. If there's anything I've learned from all this, it's that you have to take risks, you have to go for it. I think this could be worth taking a risk? Don't you?"

He stopped walking and his fingertips grazed her elbows as she stood in front of him. His eyes darted from hers to her lips and back again. He inched closer and any last pieces of his resolve gave way as she let him bring their lips together.

A hungry desire fueled his kiss, days of longing unleashed and Blair hummed against his lips. Their noses brushed and his hand found its way to the back of her neck as he desperately tried to pull her closer.

"Wait—" She said pushing against his chest. "What are we doing? Are we sure about this?"

"I'm sure about you." He said. She smiled back at him satisfied with his answer.

Care to explain?

Blair clicked open the text from Brooke and stared at the picture attached, her mouth slightly gaped.

Where did you get that?"

She typed back, fingers flying furiously over the keyboard of her phone.

All over social media. You two caused quite the uproar last night.

"Fuck!" Blair exclaimed as she disconnected her phone and rolled out of her bunk on the bus.

She pulled the curtain back slowly on the one just below hers.

"Blake. Psst Blake." She whispered, trying to wake him without disturbing the others.

"Huh? What?" He said when she reached in and prodded his side in a last ditch effort to rouse him.

"We have a problem!"

He rubbed at his eyes and groaned but rolled out of his own bunk and followed her to the front of the bus. "It's like seven in the fucking morning, B."

Blair took a seat on the lounge's couch, pulling her feet under her as she sat. Blake took the space next to her and yawned as he waited for her to explain his early wake up call.

"Brooke just sent me this!" She shoved her phone screen in front of his face. It took him a few weighted moments to identify what the picture showed, the two of them looking awfully cozy.

"There's a whole thread about it on twitter. People are saying we might as well have made out on stage, that we must be hooking up. Then they got this picture. Some fan saw us walking I guess and snapped it and now my followers on everything have tripled but I've also gotten like a million notifications of girls telling me that you're just using me and comparing me to girls from your past. Saying that I'll be gone by next week."

"You know that's not true." He says quickly.

She bit her lip.

"Blair, you're fucking joking. You know me Blair,  at least well enough to know that I'm not the guy everyone thinks I am. I want to be with you, B. I think this could be something great. You can't let this bullshit stand in the way. Do you need me to show them it's different?" He asked grabbing his phone and messing with it before turning it towards her.

"My brother sent me that from Christmas."

She looked from him to his phone and felt her shoulders relax. The look in his eyes was serious, he was so ready to jump to her defense, to scream to the world that he liked her. How could she doubt him, along with her own feelings and experiences, after that?

"No, we'll tell them in time. But until we're ready it might be fun to fan the flames and mess with them for a while."

"That's very true." He said, leaning forward to peck her lips. "Since you've got me awake at the ass crack of dawn do you wanna go hunt up some breakfast?"

"I could be down for some French toast. I'm sure we won't find anything as good as our usual place, but we'll make do." She laughed.

He disappeared for a moment, reappearing seconds later with his sneakers in one hand and tossing one of his hoodies at her with the other.

"Thanks." She called sliding the hoodie on over the T-shirt and leggings she had worn to bed. She shoved her feet into her slip on sneakers and followed him off the bus.

They were in Denver and she couldn't help but stare breathlessly as she took in the gorgeous mountain view that greeted her once she stepped out into the breaking dawn.

"Damn, that's pretty." She said dreamily.

"Not as pretty as you." Blake whispered in her ear, his voice was smooth and sweet like chocolate. He pressed his lips against her cheek and pulled her along behind him. "I got us an Uber. It's cold. Let's go."

She apparently wasn't moving fast enough for him because as soon as the words were out of his mouth he threw her over his shoulder. A squeal ripped out of her in delight and she used her hands to slap against his back demanding that he put her down.

"As you wish m'lady." He smirked setting her down just outside the waiting car.

"You're such a dumb ass."

"But you love it." He shrugged, sliding into the car behind her.

That nights performance went off without a hitch. Blair felt herself grow more confident with every song she played. She seemed to find her place on the stage and any time she began to doubt herself she glanced over to Blake who waited in the wings, smiling like an idiot every time she caught his eye.

She was sure that some of the fans in the first few rows had caught him lurking but in the moment, she couldn't bring herself to care. She was on tour, doing what she loved, what she had always dreamed of, with a boy she was crazy about standing mere meters away cheering her on.

Her set ended and she stayed close to watch the boys. She realized as she watched them how cohesive they were. Of course she knew that they had been a band for a while but it was made so much more obvious by their ability to work together and play off each other. It was a tribute to their friendship, to their brotherhood. Blair hated that she'd been friends with Blake nearly three months now and yet she barely knew his best friends. She had to do a better job at getting to know them. If she and Blake were going to have a chance in hell of working out, his friends would have to be behind them.

Her cue came for 'Shake It Out' and she ran confidently out onto the stage. Her demeanor a complete turn around from merely the night before.

The whole song was spent shamelessly flirting with Blake. If the fans wanted something to talk about, Blake and Blair would certainly give them that.

An: I want a cute ship name for Blake and Blair but it would literally be one of their names. Anyone have any ideas?

Also now they're all cute and shit what do you thinks gonna happen???
