A/N: November 9th was the first-year anniversary of Rapunzel. Sorry, I'm nearly a month late, but I've been super busy with school and University Applications. Despite all that though, I still wanted to post something special to celebrate something that has become so near and dear to my heart. So now that I'm down and out with a cold, I finally found the time to get around to it. To commemorate the occasion, I decided to do a little Lost Chapters and Tag questions (OTP and an Author Tag).

In a little less than a year, we have burned through 50-chapters of the main story and a few extra if you count the side stories. I really can't thank you all enough for what you've done both for me and this series. Thank you all, really. This is for you!

-Lost Chapters-

A/N: There have been a few instances where I had the premise of a chapter planned, but they ended up being cut for one reason or another. I've brought them back in this extra content chapter for you all to see! These are a simple summary of the events that were planned to transpire, but a few important snippets here and there that are entirely written out. Enjoy~

Chapter Idea #1 - The Princess's Most Cherished Person!

A/N: While I did like this chapter idea, it ended up being scrapped for two reasons. For one, it just didn't fit into a nice and neat 50 chapter story. And secondly, I found Kyoya to be a little out of character in the premise, so I ended up cutting it for consistency's sake. Either way, Enjoy~.

As we all know, Kazehara Sumire is both dating the drama club president and a member of his club. This story takes place right after the Ouran festival, where Sumire lost her voice thanks to a combination of a bad cold and general overexertion. With the upcoming winter play, the drama club cannot afford to slack off on rehearsals for both the actors and stage managers. Thus Miki was brought in as a temporary substitute for Sumire's part until she gets better. The Host Club follows, deciding to drop-in as part of the audience and preview the play. All except Kyoya, who heads home early, claiming that such events were 'not worthy of his time.'

The play is an original script by the drama club, telling the story of a knight, who under the request of the king, must gather the 13 fragments of the sacred ruby scattered across the nation, rescuing the kingdom from a doomed fate.

Taking Sumire's place, Miki is playing the Princess of the story, the daughter of the king and the secret lover of the knight. All was going well until they began to rehearse the important scene where the princess bids her beloved knight farewell.

---

Princess Kalia: "Must you leave, Reinhardt?"

Knight Reinhardt: "You know I must, Princess. It is our responsibility to the people... Then, I shall be off."

Kalia: "Wait! Don't go. Don't leave me! I... I'm such a worthless princess, aren't I? At a crucial time like this, I can't do anything to help you nor my people. I know it is selfish... Even so... Even so, I still want you to stay by my side."

Reinhardt: "Princess Kalia..."

Kalia: "If only, time would freeze like this forever."

Reinhardt: "Princess, no matter how far I am, even if this body were to vanish, my soul will be at your side for eternity."

Kalia: "... I know. Be safe, Reinhardt. Know that my heart is with you, too. For all of eternity."

---

Despite being able to recite her lines to perfection, Miki's performance came across as dispassionate and bland. (It isn't as bad as Haruhi's daikon-radish acting, but it lacked the intense emotions the scene carried). While the Drama Club President had no issues with it (because she's only a temporary substitute), Tamaki became super picky and started trying to explain to Miki the emotional importance and weight of the scene. Of course, Miki had a difficult time trying to understand Princess Kalia's feelings due to her emotional difficulties. It is here Sumire suggests her notebook (She's writing because she lost her voice).

---

"Why don't you try experiencing Princess Kalia's feelings for yourself then, Miki-san? Think of the person you cherish the most, and avoid them for the next few days. That would probably be the quickest way for you to understand the pain she is about to face."

"Cherish the most? Does my family count?"

"Family is a little too much... How about a close friend?"

---

Miki considers this.

The next day, Kyoya arrives at school to find Miki completely avoiding him. She hid behind Tamaki in the morning, ducked under her desk (and even hit her head in the process) when he tried to speak to her in the classroom, and even went as far as sitting into the Black Magic Clubroom during club activities all in the name of avoiding him. Kyoya was extremely confused by her odd behaviour and turned full-on passive-aggressive, dark demon lord mode during their club meeting time. On the other hand, Miki was super upset as well; being unable to talk to Kyoya was proving to be an extremely painful experience for her.

The next day, at the next drama club rehearsal, Miki arrives to be informed that the person playing the Knight has taken a day off to study for the upcoming university entrance exams. Rehearsal will continue nonetheless with a fill-in for the knight role, to help those in the lighting and sound departments get used to specific transitions in the scenes. Just as Miki asks who the fill-in is, Kyoya grabs her from behind and reveals that, surprise! He's filling in for the knight role and reminds her that she now has no-where to run. Miki replies bluntly, stating that she is supposed to avoid him.

Nevertheless, the two of them begin to act out the scene and Miki was a lot more passionate this time around, especially with Kyoya playing the opposite role. She was practically reciting her genuine feelings, after all. Both the audience and Kyoya were moved by her performance, to the point where he ends up responding as himself, leading to a script change.

---

Miki felt her breath hitch, watching as Kyoya begin to step further and further away from her. Before she knew it, her body went on auto-pilot as she lunged forth."W-Wait!" She cried, throwing her arms around his torso as she pressed her cheek against his back. "Don't go. Don't leave me..." She murmured with downcasted eyes.

Startled by the sincerity laced within her lines, Kyoya's steps came to a halt as he glanced over his shoulder at the strawberry blonde.

"I... I'm such a worthless princess, aren't I?" Miki huffed out a wry laugh. "At a crucial time like this, I can't do anything to help you nor my people. I know it is selfish..." She paused for a moment, her lips pressing into a thin line. "Even so... Even so!" She stammered, lifting her face to meet Kyoya's questioning gaze with a genuine expression of her own. "Even so, I still want you to stay by my side." She declared, her clear voice echoing throughout the auditorium.

"Princess..." Kyoya breathed, slowly turning to face Miki as he held her close by the small of her back.

As Miki gazed up into Kyoya's eyes, she felt her heart begin to palpitate. For a moment there, she had forgotten that she was only acting as her next line rolled off her tongue as if they were the most natural thing ever. "If only..." She whispered. "If only time would freeze like this forever."

Kyoya felt the corner his lips tug upwards as he reached a hand up, gingerly brushing a strand of loose hair behind her ear. "If that is your wish, then would you like to accompany me on my journey?" He spoke with a knowing smile.

"H-Huh?" Miki's eyes rounded, thrown off the sudden divergence in the script. As far as she knew, wasn't Reinhardt supposed to make his promise, then walk away?

Sliding his palm down her shoulder, Kyoya gently took hold of her hand as he lowered himself to one knee. Taking into account Reinhardt's personality and his personal emotions, a new version of the story began to unweave before the audiences' very eyes."I need you by my side, my Princess." Pressing his forehead against the back of her hand, he spoke in the knight's chivalrous tone."Without your guidance, I could get lost in the way and never find my way back to you. The thought alone, it plagues me with fear." He glanced up momentarily, casting her a readied look. "Of course, the outside world is dangerous. It's filled with people who won't hesitate to hurt and destroy you. But if you were to accompany me, I swear that I will protect you with my body and soul." His eyes crinkle softly. "What do you say?"

Though Miki was still confused by the sudden need for improvisation, she couldn't hide the radiant smile that found its way onto her cheeks as she allowed her intuition to handle the rest. "Yes." Clasping onto his hand, she nodded. "I'd love to."

---

This brought the drama club and Tamaki to tears, and they decide to change the script last minute as they found it more emotionally impactful.

After rehearsal, Kyoya and Miki are left alone as Kyoya finally gets an explanation of why Miki's been avoiding him. While he is internally quite happy that Miki considers him her 'most cherished' person, he also gets annoyed at her for turning a problem so insignificant into something much bigger than it was. Miki apologizes for this but then proceeds to point out that he looked 'extremely cool' while he was altering the script while acting out the role of Reinhardt.

Kyoya thinks about this for a moment, before informing her that what he said wasn't entirely an act. As Miki grew confused by what he was implying, Kyoya took the chance to leave the drama room.

Chapter Idea #2 - Targeted?! Miki's rise to Stardom!

A/N: This was just a silly little idea that crossed my mind at some point, but it ended up being cut due to being too much of a filler chapter, and I felt that Miki would come off as a bit of Mary-Sue-ish by the end of it. But since I am sharing some Lost Chapter Ideas, this should be fine, right? Another reason this was cut was also that I am not exactly sure how you incorporate songs with lyrics into a story chapter. Either way, think of this as a 'musical chapter' if anything. I've also included the songs I would've used if I knew how to incorporate it into the story. Enjoy~

One day when Miki was out shopping with Reiko, a photography crew stopped the two and asked to take a photo of them. They claimed to be part of the staff at the mall, looking for customers to photograph for an upcoming holiday event and asked if they would like to participate. With no reason to refuse, the girls agreed. Miki also left her email and phone number with the staff as they promised to personally send the photos afterwards.

However, what ended up arriving in Miki's mail was not the photos she took with Reiko, but an acceptance letter and a request to participate in an upcoming Idol Audition.

As it turns out, the photographers from the mall were actually the staff of a talent agency. They had accidentally mixed Miki's photos in with the audition files, resulting in her acceptance into the audition. They also requested for Miki to participate in the audition, not to compete, but to fulfill the number of participants. Under the conditions that she would be removed from the selection process and that her privacy would not be disturbed, Miki agreed in the name of new experiences.

Even though it is only for show, the staff still suggested for Miki to begin taking lessons for dancing, singing and acting to keep up appearances. While she is completely fine with it, Tamaki grows extremely worried. He points out that these lessons go from the crack of dawn until late in the night, and that Miki even had to leave school early a few times to attend these lessons. Initially, the host club writes this off as Tamaki and his usual sister-complex. But it wasn't until Miki was becoming noticeably paler and nearly lost her footing during class, did they finally begin to take this seriously.

Everyone (except Kyoya who has been oddly silent on the matter) goes to visit Miki during her lessons at the agency, only find the staff already making banners, posters and advertisements for her. They confess that the 'photo mix-up' was, in fact, not an accident as they fully intend on debuting Miki as a proper idol. As the club voices their protests, Tamaki questions whether or not Miki knows of this new development, to which the staff replies that she has accepted it and is working hard towards her new goal, leaving the hosts unable to argue back. The agency staff also request that the boys do not tell Miki of the pre-made banners and advertisements, claiming that it would only put unnecessary pressure on her as well as instruct them to stay away from her at school and lessons.

Flash sideways to Kyoya, who is busy working on the club's budget in his room at the Ootori Mansion. The bodyguard trio interrupts, bringing him photos of the merchandise and banners the talent agency has already prepared as well as a report detailing how the money expenditure within the company raises a few questionable points.

On the day of the audition, the host club gathered at the venue to watch how it plays out. Backstage, Miki manages to become friends with four other girls who were also the front runners in the upcoming audition. She is moved after hearing about how hard each girl worked towards their dreams of becoming an idol; she becomes even more motivated to become a production designer herself. But before that, she agreed to do her best in the audition in the name of a friendly competition between the girls.

In Miki's turn, she sings a sweet bubblegum-pop as her entry. Honey remarks that she looks super happy performing, Haruhi and Mori agree. Hikaru and Kaoru point out that Miki's personality was suitable for becoming an idol from the start. This leaves Tamaki feeling a little bittersweet as he looks on in a mixture of pride and an unwillingness to let go. The judges conclude that while Miki's voice isn't the most stable, and her dance moves are a little stiff (she's trained in more formal dances such as ballet and ballroom), her stage presence and overall charm are undeniable.

After all the performances, the announcer is about to reveal the winner of the audition and Tamaki finds himself unable to stand still any longer. He runs to the bottom of the stage and questions Miki's decision, asking if she really wants to become an idol. Miki is confused by this and reminds them of how she was only supposed to be filling in for the participation numbers of the audition, much to her new friends' surprise. But the staff from the agency interrupt and attempt to have Tamaki and the hosts removed from the event hall only for Yuzuru to intervene, revealing that he's been sitting in the audience along with Kyoya the entire time.

Under the guise of investigation for embezzlement, Yuzuru condemns the staff for 'attempting to manipulate a poor girl for their own self-interest' and states that the Suoh Cooperation has bought out the talent agency and confiscated all of the CDs, posters and merchandise they have created of Miki. Only then did the staff realize which families these kids are from and that they've messed with the wrong people.

Pushing through the chaos, Kyoya manages to get hold of the microphone. Looking Miki directly in the eye, he begins to speak.

---

"Well then, Miki. Tell me, would you like to continue down this path and potentially become an idol?"

"No, thank you."

"Why? Why don't you want to become an idol? Isn't that every girl's dream?" (This is one of the agency staff members speaking)

"While this experience has been quite exciting in itself, I still have my own dreams I want to pursue. Besides, the others standing on stage with me today are far more qualified to become idols than I ever will. They've worked through blood, sweat and tears, struggling and fighting to get to the point they are at today, and their efforts should not be overlooked in any way. I, on the other hand, want to continue working hard towards my goal of becoming the world's best production designer."

---

Miki's new friends thank her and wish her well on her future career choice. As the girls talk, Kyoya smirks to himself as he returns the microphone. He's known her answer all along, but he thought it would be more entertaining to invite Yuzuru along and see how things pan out. (He might've also wanted to watch Miki perform)

A month and a half later, it's revealed that the four girls Miki met at the audition have officially debuted as a girl group and have found great success in their music. The girls remained in contact and grew to be close friends, leading them to gift Miki two VIP tickets to their upcoming first live concert. Naturally, Miki invites Kyoya to go with her.

Chapter Idea #3 - April Fools Special

A/N: This was an idea that I really wanted to whip up for April Fools Day, but I didn't have the time to write it due to schoolwork and general life stuff. For some background information, an acquaintance came up to me as I was doing some story mapping. I believe I was drafting out what I wanted to do with the France School Trip arc, planning if that was the appropriate time for Miki to finally become a little more self-aware of her feelings that Kyoya was special to her. My friend asked me what I was doing, so I explained to them, and they responded with the most baffling thing.

"It's just a fanfiction; it should be pretty easy to write."

Now, I'm not usually the type to be triggered by any little thing, but this comment really got under my skin. Writing a good story and a good character is not easy. Fanfiction or otherwise. Having an original character inserted within an established storyline and franchise doesn't immediately make the character or story 'good.' Adding a new character to the main cast is an extremely delicate procedure, it requires careful planning and consideration as you must also make sure that the new character doesn't unintentionally mess with the pre-existing dynamic or halt any progressing character development. If anything, the original character should provide support to some canon relationships as well as adding to their own. (Remember, if the world feels like it is revolving around the original character, it might begin to come off as Mary Sue-ish)

I know for a fact that I, along with many other writers out there, almost hold ourselves to impossibly high standards because we want to deliver the best quality chapter we can to our readers. So it feels incredibly frustrating when what we do is seen as easy, simply because it's 'fanfiction.' Anywho, sorry for going on a tangent on character creation, but the conversation gave me a little idea.

What if I were to mess everything I built up till that point in one joke chapter?

Of course, it would've been entirely clear the chapter was meant to be taken as a satirical piece. But I wondered, how much of the story I could destroy?

(Major Cringe up ahead. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, that is not my intention. Everything listed below just ruins everything I've built up about Miki and her relationship to the rest of the Ouran Universe.)

Miki would reveal to only have been pretending to be airheaded and dumb the entire time. Secretly, she was an assassin the whole time! The Fernández family actually turned out to be a crime syndicate, and Miki is their super nimble, sharp-shooting genius killer sent to kill Kyoya. Still, it's okay because she miraculously realized that she's been in love with him all this time, so she's not going to kill him. Like she's been head-over-heels since they first laid eyes on each other, like in love with him.

Kyoya, on the other hand, is being super kind and compassionate as Miki vents the difficulties of her life to him. He's hugging her, smiling warmly, sympathizing and comforting her. He even swore to disregard everything, including his family name, if it meant being with her! He also managed to meet Miki's ex-boyfriend, who flew in from Spain to visit see her cause he still loves her. What? How does Miki have an ex-boyfriend if she was confined to a tower all this time? Reasons! They both declare their love to each other and get together!

Tamaki has actually hated Miki since the very beginning. He has just been pretending to care. And they've been getting along together since day one. They've both known how to act if they had a sibling all this time, and Miki's been calling him 'Nii-chan' since day one.

Sora and Sumire have despised her all this time too. Because she spends too much time with the host club, and they're both super jealous. They've been secretly bullying Miki because they want her to stay away from their favourite hosts. Reiko doesn't like her too; she spends too much time with Honey.

Mori confessed to Miki in a grand gesture while she was in France.

No one in the Fernández family cares about Miki. No one.

Arden is actually in love with Miki too. That's why he's been so loyal to her. (Honestly, I realized this a little while later. But Arden not being in love with Miki gives his actions so much more weight than if he did. He isn't blinded or influenced by any kind of romantic feelings, yet he still does what he does out of sheer loyalty and a purer form of love. )

A/N: Phew, sorry. I just needed to get that off my chest. Still, I hope you got some laughs out of this.

-OTP Questions-

A/N: A few of you have requested me to do this. So here we go, OTP Questions for Kyoki!

1. Who is the most affectionate?

Miki. She loves cuddling and just generally being close to Kyoya.

2. Big spoon/Little spoon?

I don't imagine these two spooning that often. Kyoya would probably like to actually see Miki's face, and Miki likes to rest her head on Kyoya's chest. But if they do, Miki would be the little spoon and Kyoya would be the big spoon.

3. Most common arguments?

It's a constant routine. Miki says/does something dumb, Kyoya scolds her, Miki apologizes, Kyoya can't find it in himself to stay mad at her, especially when she looks so guilty and apologetic already.

4. Favourite non-sexual activity?

Cuddling on a bed or couch as they each do their things. I imagine that Kyoya reads a lot in his downtime, so he probably does that, running a hand through Miki's hair as she sketches.

5. Who is most likely to carry the other?

... Do you really think Miki can lift Kyoya up? (The answer is Kyoya)

6. What is their favourite feature of their partners?

Miki likes Kyoya's chest. Despite being a little on the bonier side, she finds it quite sturdy and recognizes his embrace as her 'safe place,' thus, she likes to bury her face in his chest or lean on it for support.

Kyoya likes Miki's hair. Not the colour, but the texture. It's so silky and soft; he finds it incredibly soothing to run his fingers through.

7. What's the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?

I don't think Kyoya's really changed much, considering he's Ootori Kyoya. But as I was writing, I have noticed that his character has gotten softer in a relatively natural way, particularly towards Miki. But he still often questioned the... type of girl he fell for.

Miki's change is a lot more apparent. She began to develop a broader range of emotions, much beyond her usual 'happy-go-lucky' one. On a similar note, I don't know if anyone noticed this, so I'll point this out here. While Miki was in France, she changed her hairstyle and began to wear her bangs down. This not only served both as a metaphor for "Rapunzel let down your hair', but was also a direct result of Kyoya complimenting her bangs way back at the school festival race. Meaning, she not only remembered his simple remark but decided to change her hairstyle, simply because he said he liked it.

8. Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?

They call each other by their names. And yes, Miki would eventually drop the '-kun' prefix and straight up call him Kyoya.

9. Who worries the most?

Neither of them are really the type to worry, but if I had to choose, it'd probably be Kyoya. Miki's lacking any sort of common sense keeps him on edge.

10. Who remembers what the other one always orders at a restaurant?

They both are able to remember what each other order, but I think Kyoya would be able to provide more details about Miki's.

11. Who tops?

Let's just say Kyoya prefers to be the one in control.

12. Who reaches for the other's hand first?

Miki. But she likes threading her arm through his when they walk around, so she does that instead. Kyoya prefers to hold hands (arm in arm is too embarrassing for him)

13. Who initiates kisses?

Both of them do, but Miki does so more often. Kyoya mostly initiates a kiss when he feels like it, while Miki has two specific moments. For one, she likes to steal them whenever Kyoya is not paying attention or seems a little too stressed, just because she can, and she knows its a valid method way to get him to relax a little.

Her other 'moment' is usually when she is upset or just bored. She'd grab onto the hem of his sleeve and peer up at him, before asking for a kiss in her usual blunt manner. Kyoya is usually down.

14. Who kisses the hardest?

Perhaps it's out of revenge for tempting him for so long, Kyoya can be pretty ruthless when it comes to kissing Miki as evidence by Chapters 45 & 49. Most of the time, these are extended off of the playful kisses Miki initiates, but Kyoya would see them as a challenge of some sort. If Miki can't get away quick enough, he'd push her up against the nearest wall and kiss her senseless, hardly leaving her air to breath nor room to resist.

15. Who wakes up first?

Miki. She's used to it thanks to Tamaki. She also likes to watch Kyoya sleep, and sneak him kisses for fun.

16. Who wants to stay in bed just a little longer?

Kyoya, no contest. And yes, he does knows that Miki sneaks him kisses as he sleeps. So at some point, he starts sleeping in on purpose.

17. Who says I love you first?

According to Chapters 36 & 48, Kyoya.

18. Who leaves little notes in the other's one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)

With their... luxurious lifestyles, these two would probably never need to take a boxed lunch anywhere. But on the subject of notes, I'd like to imagine Kyoya tends to leave them for Miki as she wakes up in the morning. Keep in mind, Miki's future job is the Head Production Designer for big-budget movies; these involve long and irregular work hours and quite a bit of night shoots. For that reason, she probably goes to bed at around 4 a.m. while waking up at 2 p.m. to go back on set. Kyoya has a (somewhat) regular work schedule and therefore wakes up at around 8 a.m. on a workday.

The messages would always be pretty simple, though. Something along the lines of: "Have a good day.", "Take care." or "Be careful." But Miki still appreciates it nonetheless and collects all the little notes in a small box at her desk.

19. Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first?

Neither. Kyoya doesn't say anything because he finds it entertaining to see their reactions as they figure out for themselves while Miki is just her usual "You never asked" attitude.

20. What do their family/friends think of their relationship?

Let's start with Miki's side of the family.

Yuzuru approves. He respects and recognizes Kyoya's intelligence and views him as worthy of Miki. But I do imagine somewhere on the inside; he's pretty salty about another man stealing away his precious daughter. And when Miki does eventually get pregnant, he'll constantly be side-eyeing Kyoya in a passive-aggressive way - since being pregnant means, they actually did 'it.'

Tamaki did not realize until it was practically spelt out before him with waving banners and an LED board. Before he finally got clued in on their relationship, I imagine Tamaki to be constantly interfering in their private time: assuming that Kyoya's invitation towards Miki includes himself, dropping-in uninvited while they are on their dates, etc. But when he does figure out, oh lord, did this boy had a heart attack. His first reaction, like any overprotective brother, was to object to their relationship. He'd yell stuff like "Onii-sama will NOT allow this!"  while bawling his eyes out. It isn't until the rest of the hosts finally drill it through his thick skull that Miki will be married one day, to Kyoya or not, does Tamaki eventually calmed down and think it through. Then he becomes all for it; because he realized that if his precious little sister were to be married to anyone, he'd want it to be to Kyoya over anyone else. And that would also mean that his best friend would become his brother-in-law, so that's a plus (much to Kyoya's dismay).

Elisa approves of Kyoya and Miki's relationship, and considers what they have as 'true love.' She holds an immense amount of gratitude towards Kyoya, mostly due to all that he's done for her daughter. She is also well aware of Kyoya's disdain towards her, but she doesn't hold any grudges about it as she finds it quite reasonable from his standpoint. Now that I think about it, these two are actually more alike than we realized...

Elena ships it. I'd like to imagine that she was constantly gossiping to Agustin about their potential romance back in the Madrid arc. Selene doesn't hold too much of an opinion on the subject, but she does find them quite endearing. Alejandro and Rita hate it or don't care.

Arden is not technically family, but he mine as well be thanks to how much of a contribution he made when it comes to raising Miki, so I'll throw him in too. Arden has a similar sentiment to Tamaki in this aspect: As in if Miki were to marry anyone, he'd want it to be Kyoya. Arden holds a significant deal amount of respect for him, evident by him asking Kyoya of all people for help when Miki was in trouble. If anyone asked, I think he'd say something along the lines of "I could not fathom holding anyone else to the same regard as Milday than Master Kyoya."

Okay, now for Kyoya's side of the family.

Yoshio does like Miki quite a bit. Though part of it is due to her connections in the Suoh family, I'd also like to think that it's because he admires her strong work ethic, as he's witnessed how hardworking and sincere she was first-hand back at the Ouran festival. When he has the time, he often invites Miki over to their place for dinner, so that he could get to know his future daughter-in-law a little better.

Fuyumi totally ships it. She frequently advises both of them when it comes to their relationship, and fawns over how cute they are as a couple. She also finds it absolutely hilarious how Miki can get her brother to lose his cool so easily and quickly.

Yuichi is an interesting one. I don't have much to go off of about his character, so this is all just speculation. I feel like not only does Yuichi approve of Miki's relationship with Kyoya, but he would actually dote on her quite a bit. Of course, it wouldn't be obvious, seeing as the man still has an image and reputation to keep up. It'd be something simple, like whenever he'd go on business trips, he always remembers to bring back a souvenir for her from the destination of his travel, like keychains, mugs or figurines just to satisfy her curiosity. All in all, he sees her as an adorable little sister.

As briefly mentioned in Chapter 45, Akito really doesn't like Miki and doesn't approve of her relationship with his brother. He sees her as nothing but a 'wedlock benefit' and finds her too stupid and airheaded to even associate with the Ootori family. He also can't fathom why the rest of his family even likes her in the slightest. Either way, he doesn't get any say in the matter, so all he can do is give her snide glances in the hall or across the dining table, not like Miki notices though.

Once again, they aren't really family members, but I think the Ootori bodyguard trio deserves a shoutout as well, so I'll include them. Tachibana and Aijima both care a lot for Miki. They also find it quite endearing how much Kyoya softens around her, so they try to serve her with as much commitment and respect as they do with Kyoya. Hotta, on the other hand, gets super flustered and awkward around Miki. This is mostly because he doesn't know how to handle her and her enthusiasm, but he still cares a lot for her though. I imagine somewhere into the future, Kyoya would take Hotta off of his bodyguard team and transfer him to accompany Miki around along with Arden, partly to 'bully' Hotta and partly because of how well he 'gets along' with Miki.

I'll try and keep it brief with the 'friends' category.

In terms of the Host Club, they all support Kyoya and Miki's relationship. Haruhi and Hikaru are still in shock that Kyoya and Miki are actually an item, mostly due to how different their personalities are. Kaoru is arguably one of the OG Kyoki shippers, but he tends to feel a little out of place in their 'Younger Siblings' trio group. Nevertheless, he tries to give both of them advice to the best of his extent whenever they ask for it. Honey is all for it and is one of the most active members along with Kaoru in the 'keep Tamaki out of their private time together' squad. Mori is just happy, knowing that Miki is happy.

Reiko, as seen before kinda has an internal rivalry going on with Kyoya. I'd like to imagine that she already has voodoo dolls and hexes ready. In the case that Kyoya was to hurt her best friend in any way, she will ready to release all hell on him. Sora and Sumire tend to fawn over the two of them as a couple and often gives helpful advice to Miki in her more... confused moments.

Kuze is generally supportive of their relationship, despite feeling super insulted whenever he's around either of them. Matsuyama, on the other hand, loves teaching Miki more ways to toy with/tempt Kyoya just for fun. And knowing Miki, she always follows them without question. It got the point where Kyoya had to temporarily ban alone time between the girls because Matsuyama keeps teaching Miki 'weird stuff'.

Phew, that was a long one.

21. Who is more likely to start dancing with the other?

Both of them are great at dancing due to their high-class background, and they both enjoy it to some extent. So I'd say it's an equal split.

22. Who cooks more/who is better at cooking?

Assuming they'd even have to cook at some point in their luxurious lives, Kyoya would definitely be better at it than Miki ever will.

23. Who comes up with cheesy pick-up lines?

I don't think either of them are the type to come up with pick-up lines, but Miki does say some pretty shameless things from time to time.

24. Who whispers inappropriate things in the other's ear during inappropriate times?

Miki for the same reason above. It drives Kyoya mad.

25. Who needs more assurance?

Both of them are relatively confident people, so I don't imagine either of them needing assurance. But Miki loves to give lots of support and encouragement to Kyoya.

26. What would be their theme song?

Meikyuu Love Song by Arashi

I couldn't find any lyric videos for this song, so I decided to make my own. Remember to turn on captions. ♥️

27. Who would sing to their child back to sleep?

Miki, but they'd both be there as she does. Because eventually, Miki would end up singing herself to sleep, and it'd be up to Kyoya to carry her back to their room.

28. What do they do when they're away from each other?

They both have their own dreams and aspirations to fulfill, so when they aren't together, they're most likely to be working their respective goals. Otherwise, Miki loves going out shopping with Reiko while Kyoya is probably caught up in Tamaki's shenanigans.

29. One headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart.

The sad truth is, due to how weak Miki is physically, she is not going to live a very long life. Though her lifespan will already be significantly prolonged by both the Suoh and Ootori family's support and resources, Kyoya would still probably outlive her by a good 13-15 years. I think Miki would pass away around her late 50s to early 60s, while Kyoya would probably live to his mid-80s.

30. One headcanon about this OTP that mends it.

Kyoya recognizes this fact pretty early on, and he would do everything within his power to make it so that Miki has no regrets when she does eventually pass away. This includes checking off everything on her bucket list, travelling the world and generally doing everything she wants to do. After her eventual death, Kyoya would not be romantically involved with anyone until his eventual passing. They'll reunite in heaven and live happily there. (Or they'll both go to hell, and rule as the Demon King and Queen)

-Author Tag-

1. How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?

I was around 15-years-old, I believe, when I first began writing Kirin Koka.

2. Do you prefer writing OC's or reader inserts? Explain your answer.

I wholly prefer writing original characters. Mostly because I feel like they have a lot more creative freedom and room for a distinct personality compared to reader inserts.

3. What is your favourite genre to write for?

Romance is a must, of course. Otherwise, I like writing about everything. Comedy, Drama, Adventure, etc. Anything I feel passionate about, really.

4. When is your preferred time to write?

I am a major night owl. I prefer writing anytime between 11 pm to 4 am.

5. Where do you take your inspiration from?

Anything really. But you'll probably notice that my biggest source of inspiration are from classic fairytale books. Snow White in Kirin Koka, Rapunzel and Cinderella. I just love over-analyzing fairytale symbolism!

6. In your story, what's your favourite scene that you wrote?

Hmm, this is difficult to say. My favourite scene hands-down is in Chapter 47 when Miki just absolutely loses it as she is talking to Anne-Sophie. It's a scene that I've been building up and planning for such a long time, and I think it turned out beautiful.

I also love the finale of the Wedding Arc, of which Elisa's true nature is finally revealed. Many comments before that have been calling her out for being a terrible and manipulative mother, so that scene really felt satisfying to put out. (Not that I wasn't snickering every time someone rightfully assumed she'd be a bitch of a mother)

Other than those two, I still love that ending scene in Chapter 10. It really felt the like turning point in the Kyoki ship, which began their rollercoaster-like journey towards getting together.

7. In your story, why did you decide to end it like that? Did you have an alternate ending in mind?

Why did I decide to end it like that? Well, because Miki deserves a happy ending. The poor girl has been through so much stress, trauma and unfair circumstances directed against her; I would be a monster to make her suffer continually.

I do actually have an alternate ending for if things went awry, and I originally wanted to have it ready for the 1-year-anniversary, but I was so swamped with schoolwork I couldn't get it done in time. I'll try to have it up soon though, please be patient~

8. Post a line from a WIP that you're working on.

"If it's to protect the King, I'm always willing to sacrifice the Queen."

9. Can you give us a spoiler for one of your WIP's?

Ooo. Spoilers, huh? Well, I can tell you this. To all of you reading Cinderella, Choju is quite an... eccentric character despite her initial appearance ;).

10. Do you have any abandoned WIP's? What made you abandon them?

I do. I've had an old Fairy Tail Reader Insert story, I've written a few chapters for. But ended up abandoning because of my dislike for the reader insert writing style.

Other than that, I was actually debating between a SDR2 story or a DRV3 one prior to the release of Cinderella. But I ended up going with V3, mostly cause the original character for SDR2 wouldn't be nearly as interesting as Choju, the original character from the V3.

I also have a planned but not entirely abandoned The Promised Neverland Story Idea. But I was reluctant about posting it due to the lack of a proper finale yet. I wanted to wait for the ending to plan everything out properly.

12. Do you have a story that you look back on and cringe when you reread it?

Kirin Koka. As much as I love the series and characters, some of the plot points feel a bit... juvenile and cringy. If I had a little more time down the future, I'd probably try to rewrite the entire series into something a little more... mature and refined. Despite that, I still have no intention of taking the series down. It's where my fanfiction writing journey began after all.

13. Do you prefer listening to music when you're writing or do you need silence?

I like listening to lyricless music. Just some nice and calming background tunes.

14. Have you ever cried whilst writing a story?

Not yet, surprisingly. Miki's confrontation with Anne-Sophie and Elisa's True Nature nearly brought me to tears though.

15. Which part of your story was the hardest to write?

The hardest to write would undoubtedly be the Orienteering Festival Arc. It just wasn't the most interesting, and I wasn't particularly fond of Megumi either. But because of how vital the arc was to Tamaki's development, I felt that I had to include it.

16. Do you make a general outline for your stories, or do you just go with the flow?

I do. I usually write with a clear goal in mind, as well as a general outline for character and relationship development. Certain scenes and interactions are also plotted out way beforehand, so that I have an idea where the series is generally going. Changes can happen along the way, though, and that's always exciting.

17. Do you have a story that you feel doesn't get as much love as you'd like?

Also, Kirin Koka. As cringy as it can get, I don't think it's that bad for a story written by a 15-year-old. So hey, if you all have the time and the background information in Fushigi Yuugi. Go give that a read. :)

18. Do you prefer first, second or third person?

I prefer third person, no contest. I can't get used to writing first-person, having to get into their thoughts and everything. And second-person just feel strange.

19. What do you like to do other than writing?

Hmm. Many of you may not know this, but I'm actually an actor in real life. Nothing huge like the lead-role in certain movies, but I have gotten a few secondary roles here or there. I also voice act here or there when I have time, as well as scriptwriting.

Otherwise, I like to read, bake and play video games. I'm a massive fan of both Classic and Modern Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Danganronpa, Zero Escape and the Persona Series. I am a little bit of a nerd :P.

A/N: Seriously, thank you all so much for everything! In this one short year, we've journeyed with Miki through her year-long adventure at Ouran Academy, we've laughed, cried and even got mad for her. I've gotten comments telling me that on a difficult or stressful day, our clueless little Miki has managed to make your day a little brighter, and it means so much to me to see that my story can positively impact someone like that.

Slowly but surely, Miki's story is coming to an end. With the three epilogues, short story collection, alternate ending and side story being the last entries of the series. Thank you all so much for this journey, and I hope to see you all again in my next works!
