Chapter 16: Guardian

Tanaka opened his eyes and saw that it's already night time
He didn't notice the time but everything is fine, he got his desired mana so everything is alright
Tanaka stood up and picked up the chick that's sleeping beside him
Since the chick stuck to him, he got attached to it so he doesn't really want to find its relatives since the chick isn't flying away himself then it doesn't matter anymore
Maybe it will meet its family one day but before it happens, he will take care of it
But he was curious about something and just sort of blurted it out
"Is it a boy or a girl?" Looking at the chick curiously
And the chick response by flapping its wings
So Tanaka tried and asked the chick
"A girl?" And the chick stayed still
"A boy?" And the chick flapped its small wings frantically
It seems that it is a boy, that means...it can't have an offspring
"Oh, alright" The lazy protagonist just nodded and pats the chick
"I'll be taking care of you until your family find you" Tanaka said and the chick chirps in agreement
(Though, I doubt the chick will leave him when it gets attached to Tanaka)
The innocent pair walked home slowly, it was dark but Tanaka can see the way clearly, must be the cause of the mana inside him
As they walk, the man who was hiding in the tree along with his familiar is watching Tanaka's every move
Tanaka clearly is brave but it was definitely because the man was watching out for the dangers that may fall upon him, it's like he has his own guardian
(Man: I DON'T WANT TO BE A GUARDIAN, I WANNA BE HIS PRINCE CHARMING)
(So he says ^^, anyway outta my way dood)
'Whoosh'
A whisking sound can be heard as wind pass Tanaka, it seems another predator has appeared to prey on Tanaka
The said guardian wanted to protect Tanaka but he would prefer to keep hidden
And he thought that Tanaka can handle this situation, he'll interfere if it gets serious
But Tanaka disappeared instantly which made the man horrified
"How bothersome" he commented
But he sensed no bloodlust so he just decided that he'll take it slow, He is sure that the person who took him will bring him back at the rise of the sun
At the other side,
Tanaka groaned as he opened his eyes, it was dark but there were a bunch of candles lit around him or to be accurate around 'them'
When he woke up he noticed that it was a bit cold, the blanket was being pulled so he also pulled back
In return, he heard a whine behind him, he was facing the other side so he turned to look and saw a person's back
The person seems to be the one who took him and it is our 'handsome' fairy
Well honestly, in the look of others he is a Greek but in the eyes of the demon King he is a Goddess
Tanaka tried to wake the fairy up and he received whinings in which Tanaka responded to a more annoying method
He stopped as he felt his body frozen, frowning, he looked at the fairy who is holding his hand
"Your fault for pulling the blanket" Tanaka accused and the fairy seems to be amused
Instead of freaking out, Tanaka just spoke with the fairy calmly, if people were to see this, they would think Tanaka only cares about sleeping, which no one can really deny or prove
"Alright, let's just sleep again" the fairy replied and went back to sleep
Tanaka also became amuse, it seems the both of them are similar, it's a thrill for Tanaka to think of that so he also went back to sleep
They don't care if the other was the kidnapper or if the other was the victim
All they want is to sleep like no tomorrow
The sun has soared and the prediction which the demon predicted didn't happen
And the noon came but the figure of the one he's waiting for still hasn't appear
The household was in chaos, in every corner, there are servants who are wishing for the master and madame to spare them
It seems the demon has to move
On the other side, both of the lethargic men were still laying in bed asleep
From time to time, they wake up but also goes back to sleep, Tanaka had forgotten his promise he made to himself but no worries he'll remember
A few more hours have passed when both of them are completely awake where they both spend their time sitting in the bed observing one another
No one spoke nor made a noise for fear of disturbing the peaceful interaction between them
Finally, one of them have to give in and start a conversation
"You're an interesting fellow" the fairy commented into which Tanaka replied the same thing
"What's your name little guy" the former asked
Feeling lazy to tell him that he should inquire his name first before asking
"Suzuki Tanaka...How about you?" Tanaka responded and also asked back
"Mukami Akaashi" The fairy, Akaashi, responded and both of them just nodded at each other
"Brotherrr" a girl bursts in which is the little sister of Akaashi
"Oh this is my little sister, Mukami Akane" Tanaka just nodded his head to her
"And this is Suzuki Tanaka, my new companion" Akaashi continued, altho Tanaka is confused he didn't deny it
"Hi~~" What an energetic fellow, it seems Akaashi had a hard time dealing with his own sister knowing that both of them are the opposite
"Hi" Tanaka bluntly replied and Akane's eyes shone brightly, he has another big brother
"Are you my big brother?"Akane asked, even though her brother is right next to her she still asked
And as a response to Akane's question, Tanaka shook his head 'no'
While Akaashi doesn't mind it, he still wants to ask as to why did his sister said that
Well, it doesn't really matter, he knows how her sister loves him dearly
Tanaka stared at the siblings, are they twins?
Both are like the same person but are the opposite genders
Well, Akaashi is definitely not androgynous because he leans in more to manly figures, no one knows why the demon King treats Akaashi like a goddess
But that's their own story so we're out of the way...for now
Alright, As Tanaka is thinking about, Akaashi is like the male version of Akane, just like him and Rino and their big sister, tho the difference is that big sister has a big chest, so Rino is more likely his female version with no chest
(>\\\< Poor girl,
Rino: *grits her teeth* die
Mysterious man: *mocking smirk* lol)
Alright, it wasn't supposed to be in the story but I have no more idea what to write
" Hmmm, What are you planning to do with him, brother?" Akane asked as if Tanaka wasn't here but at the same time, Tanaka careless
"Mm" As a response to Akane's question, Akaashi grumbled, he doesn't know what to do with this guy
"Just let me sleep" As soon as Tanaka said that, Akaashi received an idea, no one knows why Tanaka is getting punished even Akaashi questions himself
Akaashi then changed his mind, why is he even punishing this little guy he just met
"Let's just go to sleep" and so, Akaashi agreed to Tanaka's request and he was the first one to fall on the bed where he fell asleep peacefully
Seeing how comfy Akaashi looks, Tanaka followed suit and also fell asleep fast
"..." Akane who was watching the whole thing, she felt bitterness seeing that both of them can sleep with no worries
They are even strangers but they can sleep next to each other, these guys are different
(Dood, no homo lmao)
Soo, why did Akaashi even abducted Tanaka and he only plans on sleeping with him, how childish but they look really comfy
Seeing how comfy they look, Akane was being charmed into sleeping
And she did sleep in the middle of them, don't think of something bizarre, they're just innocent babies
(And I'm not enticing you into thinking like that but meh)
A few hours have passed and Akane was the first one to wake up, all she saw was the backs of the two guys
She pouts, is no one going to spoil her?
(Wait, baby, wait, someone will come for you and spoil you rotten, hope you won't become rotten tho 🤣🤣 >^<)
She decided to wake them up both, and they responded with a groan, obviously, they don't want to get up yet
"WAKE UP YOU IDIOTS" The once sweet Akane became a demon, isn't she a fairy, what happened that she got angry
Hearing her shout, both guys covered their ears and slowly got up
Both are slumping, still half asleep
"Ughhh" Akane groaned in frustration, how can she wake them up fully
"Ohhh~ do you guys want water?" Akane grinned mischievously
*splash*
"Cough" the poor guys coughed as the water fell onto them, they are fully awake but still drowsy
"Akane" Akaashi silently whispered but didn't do anything but moves his hand in a fanning motion
The water dispersed and their once wet figures are gone, thanks to the help of Akaashi's magic
"Alright, now that you are awake, you should take Tanaka back, the sun has already passed, surely, his household is in a mess" Akane advised
As Akane said that, the Suzuki household were frantically searching for their young master, they even hired a bunch of mercenary for the search, but it's been a whole day and they haven't found him yet
Even the mysterious man has been feeling impatient
Back to the three,
"Chirp" A chirp was heard and three heads look at it at the same time
And they saw the little chick, Akaashi's eyes shone bright, did his pet became a chick again?
"Arc" Tanaka called out and the chick rushed toward him
A gleam flashed on Akaashi's eyes, he was strongly interested about the chick who's running toward Tanaka
Even Akane was shocked, isn't this big brother's? How did it became a baby again but hearing how Tanaka called him Arc, Akane wasn't so shocked anymore, so it's another pet
"Alright, let's bring you back" Akane recovered her surprise and reminded both of them, Tanaka agreed by nodding his head
And all three of them teleported near the Suzuki Manor, it was really noisy and Akane was sweating and bid Tanaka goodbye then teleporting her and her big brother back to their place

Sorry guys for the long wait, if I updated tomorrow it would be a 1-month wait
Wellllll, I had a writer block or to be honest, maybe it's because I haven't been thinking of a plot and also distracted
I have been busy this month, I had to transfer to another school, so gotta learn a new language, I'm feeling like death is near, my head is burning
And so this chapter is mixed, I haven't really thought what to write so this is how it became but here you go
