I sit
And sit
And sit some more

It rains
And rains
And pours some more

My fingers search my bed for something warm
A human, a body, a person
When I come up empty handed
I open my eyes

There's no one here with me
My eyes grow wet
For I'm alone

And I wept
And wept
And wept some more

Depression seeped into my veins
Up to my brain
And I closed my eyes once more
