As soon as the final bell rung I rushed out of the exit ready to go home. I didn't want to get beat today. I'm going to try my best to get home on time. My parents usually give me 10 minutes to get home, even though we live 30 minutes away from my school.

I arrived at home, scared at what punishment I would get today. I unlocked the front door and slowly walked in, greeted by a big white liquor bottle being broken over my head. My mom smiled at me, taking her cigarette out of her mouth and burning my right eyelid. I screamed and cried, until she stopped burning me and then spit on me. My dad walked out of the bathroom smelling like what comes out if everyone's back door. He was holding his favorite leather belt with 3 straps attached to it, it was wet. He made me take off my shirt and pants and then started beating me senseless until my skin was torn and bloody. My oldest sister dragged me to my feet, "faggot get your lazy ass up and make all of us spaghetti!"
I slowly started walking to the kitchen, I held the bloody patch of hair on the back of my head. My vision swayed as I started to boil the spaghetti noodles and cut up the garlic. I started making the spaghetti sauce with some meat bits in it.... Once it was done, I put it onto plates and added forks to them. I gave each person a plate and then placed the Parmesan cheese in the center of the table. "Now go outside and starve to death you fucking faggot". I went outside and sat on the porch steps, looking up at the Moon.
The blood was falling from the back of my head fast, it was painful and peaceful at the same time. A female voice in the back of my head told me to get up and pursue the world.
