BOSS' POV:
"Bullshit!"
I threw my iPhone XS to the floor. Dammit it's just 16 hours old and now its gone!
Dammit!
"John!" I yelled the name of one of my men.
"Yes sir?" He ran into my luxurious and spacious living room.
"Go and tell Miranda to order a new phone for me and tell her to put the necessary things in it." I ordered him.
"Sir, what happened to the phone you just bought this morning?" He asked and I got more angry.
"God dammit! are you working for me or the police? Why are you questioning me?!" I shouted at him.
"Uhhh s-s-sorry sir. I'll go tell her." He stuttered.
The Lord himself knows that I hate stutterers!
"Go!" I yelled and he flinched in fear and left.
I removed my blazer and tossed it to the floor, leaving only my blue button up long sleeve Shirt. I folded the sleeves up to my elbow.
"Now, back to you guys." I turned around and looked at Anderson and his team with the intention of murdering each and everyone of his men. "How incompetent can all of you be?! Anderson I specifically assigned you to be Gabriella's bodyguard. And what does a bodyguard do?! He protects a person at all times! He is always with them and never leaves their sight!"
"I'm sorry sir, it's just she was too adamant. She said she doesn't want anybody to follow her or even drop her off at her destination." Anderson tried to reason with me.
"Where was even her destination?" I asked him.
"Umm sir, it was.....Heaven.....Estate."
"What?!" I was perplexed.
Gabriella came to the Estate?
"Yes sir, but we don't know why."
"Dammit!" I cursed out loud. "What about the Uber driver? Is there anything suspicious about him?"
"No sir. Nothing at all." He answered.
"Good." If anything could have happened to her, the Lord knows I will sue Uber with no hesitation. I don't care if I come out in the open. No one messes with her. No one.
"Through his name, you can see he's Indian. He's actually a Punjabi. His name is Akaashpreet Sabharwal. He's average height, light brown in complexion. He's 28 years of age and married with two daughters. We were also able to get his cellphone number." He gave me his phone with the number dialed.
After four rings, I was able to get through.
He spoke with a very strong Indian accent. "Namaste. Who am I speaking to?"
"You don't need to know my name. Just know I am the person who threatened your life today." I spoke so low.
"So you are that devil that sent your men to threaten the hell out me. May the Lord Parjanya send thunderbolts to strike you buttocks." He said angry yet he sounded so funny. I was trying my best to not laugh at his statement.
"Mr. Akaashpreet I am really sorry for our disturbance. It's just the passenger you carried in your vehicle, she's like a porcelain doll I have to protect, afraid that she might break. My men will compensate you with any amount of money." I said and cut the call abruptly then gave it back to Anderson.
Immediately his phone rang. I figured it was Mr. Akaashpreet, considering I cut the call immediately and not waiting for his reply but Anderson informed me its Peter, one of the guards at their mansion.
I ordered him to put it on speaker and he obeys.
"Mr. Anderson, Boss, Miss Gabriella has arrived home." Peter said through the phone.
"Did she use an Uber?" I asked him.
"No boss, she didn't."
My forehead creases in confusion. "Then how did she get home?"
"Someone dropped her off." He said and I got worried.
"Probably someone from her school. Considering she doesn't know much people in this Country." Anderson said.
My mind calms down a bit. "It's probably a girl in her class that dropped her."
"Boss, with all due respect, I feel your wrong."
"And why is that?" I arched an eyebrow.
"Sir, because when Miss Gabriella came out of the driver's seat I saw-"
I cut him off. "Driver's seat? She doesn't know how to drive yet. She's still fifteen.
" Yes sir, I agree with that. Let me continue with what I was saying and you'll understand what I mean.
"Proceed." I told him and he continued.
"When she came out of the driver's seat, I saw......." He hesitated. "She....was......sitting on a boy. A teenage boy, around seventeen or eighteen.
As soon as he said it, the expensive bottle of wine placed on the bar's island that I bought when coming back that I wanted to carry for tomorrow's event was now in my hand and in a fit of rage, I threw it with force and anger to the tiled, cold floor of my living room. The others flinched in shock. Anderson gave his phone to one of his men and came to me.
"Please sir control yourself." He said as he held my arm.
"How could she be with a boy?! Oh God this is so wrong!" I raked my hair with my fingers. "When I see that boy, I swear to God that I'm gonna punch him." I inhaled and exhaled with anger.
"Sir please take a hold of yourself. Think about your son, he won't like to see you like this." He said trying to get sense into me.
I heaved a frustrated sigh. "Anderson you're right." He let's go of me and speaks to Peter.
"Peter are you still there?" Anderson asked.
"Yes sir." He answers in his baritone voice.
"Is there anything else?" I asked him.
"Yes sir. Miss Gabriella spent almost forty minutes in the boy's car before coming out.
"Oh God please tell me she didn't do anything with that boy." I started getting worried.
"And when she eventually got out of the car, she banged the door so loud so much so that I thought the car door got spoilt. Her face was so numb. You couldn't point at what she felt at the moment. It was like she couldn't process any feeling or emotion."
"What??" Oh God what has that boy done to her?!
"Oh and finally, this is the second time that this car is coming to drop Gabriella at home. It's a White Bugatti Veyron."
"Yes sir, that is true." One of Anderson's able bodied men spoke. "The first time was on Monday night. Her blonde friend came to pick her up but she came back with the White Bugatti."
"Does her mother know about all of this?!" I shouted.
"We don't know but we'll ask Mrs. Edna and Mr. Pablo, the Head Chefs of the mansion if they know anything." Anderson spoke.
I exhaled heavily trying to bring down the anger building inside of me. "Make sure they don't screw up. I don't want any of them to know they're being spied at. Gabriella is very intelligent so they have to be very careful with her. I know her, she can easily detect something, I'm not surprised cause the has the powerful blood of a Dalmonte running through her veins. She's exactly like her Great Great Grandfather, Flavio Dalmonte. So everyone, be careful. Thank you to everyone, most importantly Peter."
"You're welcome sir." Peter said and I nodded.
I dismissed everyone and they left.
John came into the living room.
"John."
"Yes sir?"
"What I am doing right now.....is it....right?"
"Sir I don't really have the answer for that, but I know once Miss Ariana-"
"MRS Ariana." I said emphasizing the Mrs.
"Sorry sir. Mrs. Ariana. Let's even leave Mrs. Ariana out of this. Once Miss Gabriella finds out, I can only imagine what she'll do to you. Gabriella isn't the same girl you knew before. She has changed, she has changed a lot." John said.
"I know." I spoke sadly.
