dinner suprise - calum

every time calum some free time, he either wanted to spend time with you or better his cooking skills. however, he'd get to both sometimes when you try and cook dinner together. but today calum was wanting to see how he could do on his own and try to surprise you. since you had work, calum took advantage of it, going to the farmers market with ashton early in the morning to get all the ingredients needed to make one of your favorite dishes your mom makes after texting with her for the recipe. once he was ready to start cooking, calum would put on his playlist he had just for when the two of you were making food, putting him in a good
mood as he prepped everything. at first glance, the recipe looked pretty simple, however, he was very very wrong. calum ended up over cooking the veggies and forgot some spices so it tasted really bland. mid mental breakdown, you came home early from work, finding calum panicking in the kitchen. "you weren't suppose to be home already." he groaned. "aw, im sorry bub. looks like a mess in here tho, you need help?" you giggle, getting on your tippy toes to peck his lips. calum had tomato sauce & oil splatters all over his apron but still looked cute as ever.
