"Come out."
One sentence and the call ended.
He can hang up but not me.
This jerk really thinks so highly of himself.
Ring...
"Hello?"
"Are you angry?"
Uwah.
Kara almost choke when she heard a moping King.
Is she angry?
Not anymore.
She is scared!
What is the consequence of making a Male God sad?
Death!
"I am not."
"Really?"
"Y--yeah."
"Happy birthday. Can I come in your house right now?"
"Umm... It is late. Tomorrow?"
There is a dead silence.
"Sir Bishop?"
"You allow your teacher yet you refuse me?"
"....."
"Do you see me for a fool?"
King is angry!
"I didnt tell him he can. He just came here without permission. And--"
Beeeeeeepppppp!
Kara's eyes widen when she heard a loud honk outside.
"Is that Xian? He is there?" King angrily ask.
Oh come on!
"I am going down there to see what he is up to. Can--can you call later?"
Kara use a charming and harmless tone.
"How long is later?"

Why is he so diffucult tonight?
Urgh.
Is he drunk?
Beeeeppppp!!
Kara cursed in her heart.
"Just give me 10 minutes." She immediately hang up and run downstairs.
Kara hurriedly run downstairs and out the house.
"Sir Flavio! Stop!" Kara shouted in a whisper.
Xian stares at her with a dark face.
He stagger and hugs Kara.
Kara thought Xian lost his footing and dont bother thinks she is being hugged.
"Can you stand straight? You are so heavy." Kara wants to pout in her heart.
Xian find it amusing and lean his body to Kara more.
He gave half her weigh to her.
Kara struggling to stand straight.
Xian find oppurtunity to touch her hair while Kara is cursing him in her head.
"Smells nice." He murmurs as he sniff her hair.
"Yet you smell! Reek of alcohol!" Kara said angrily.
Xian stands straight and went to his car.
Kara is left standing there like a fool.
She followed him but a plushy of 2ft rabbit bump her.
"Aw." Kara rub the tip of her nose.
"Happy birthday." He said as he throws the plushy without caring much.
Kara has to run to catch the plushy.
When she secure the plushy in her arm Xian is already inside his car.
"Sir Flavio, thank you for saving me earlier and for this. Why--why didnt you come at my birthday? I-I thought you want to come."
She hide her face in the plushy while sneakily looking at Xian.
Xian frowns.
"I take care of some smelly brats. It is better not to know." He said and gesture for her to come near.
Kara as an obedient girl went near.
Xian gave her a red envelop.
"Red envelop? Are you actually Chinese?"
"I use airmail envelop." He smirks.
Kara frowns.
"This is better."
Xian wave her a goodbye.
Kara smiles and wave shyly.
After entering the house, shw throws the plushy in the washing machine.
"This reeks of alcohol too." She sigh as she pours some water.
"I wanna go to. Why is he allowed yet I am not?" King angrily said on the other side.
Kara frowns.
'Cause you are drunk!'
King is a bad drunk.
He become honest when he is drunk but also very childish.
Worst, he just get angry for no reason.
"No. You are drunk. What if you got hurt on the way here?"
Kara wants to sleep already.
"I have my driver!"
"Stay there and sleep."
Kara dared to get angry.
Once sober, King will be really funny.
"Do you dare order me around? I am a King! A monarch! A leader! A Lord! You.. I will make you bow down to me."
"Sure. Sure."
"You think I am lying? You..Kara...I want to see you." From angry to pitiful.
Kara's head hurts.
"You can come tomorrow. Ill be sleeping now."
"No!"
Urghhhhhhh..
"Kara, how old are you?"
"13 today."
"So fast? When will you be 14?"
"Next year?"
"When will you get 15?"
"Two years from now."
"16?"
"Three years from now."
"So fast? Where will you stay while waiting for Three years?"
Kara wants to cry.
What are they talking about?
"Ill be staying in your heart." She joke.
Waiting for a retort.
There is nothing but dead silence.
"Sir Bishop?"
"You wont fit in my heart. It is just the size of my fist. It is very small. What if you get squash? I am afraid you cant stay in my heart."
Kara almost laugh but good thing she didnt.
Calming herself is difficult but she endures.
"I see. Then I will stay somewhere spacious." She says.
"You know..."

"Sir Bishop I want to sleep......"
"Along time ago, I have parents."
"Carry on!" Kara immediately said.
"My father is a chess player. His life revolves in chess. You can say he only live for chess.
He married mom cause her name is his favorite chess piece. Queen. Mom get pregnant and he called me Bishop.Why Bishop? Why not King? I ask him. He said, cause I am the King. What a load of bull. What a delusional idiot." King angrily shouted.
"I dont mind it. But his prime has ended. He become addicted to a gambling chess game.
He gamble even his own wife and son and lost us."
Kara's eyes widen.
"Kara....I am a discarded chess piece. Im not worthy enough. Just a bishop. Even if he lost me, he is still the King. So I change my name. I feel like changing it will make me different..What do you think?"
"Im sorry. I didnt hear you. What is that?"
"Hmm? Im sleepy. Good night Kara."
"Good night Sir Bishop."
End call.
Kara hurriedly put her hands on her mouth.
She trembles as she cry.
She always think of that unfeeling man called King.
He is so high and mighty.
She even told herself that King should have some grievance or it wont be fair.
Her head is really small, small and petty.
So small that a brain doesnt fit there.
What a messy birthday.
She is lying on bed looking at the ceiling.
Her heart is a bit stuffy.
She sits and send King and Xian a message.
